Antique SS White Electric Desktop Dental Dentist Drill 1938 Nickel Plate Rare! Hi everyone. I have this rare SS White Electric Desktop Dentists Drill Today. This piece is extremely heavy so as not to fall off the desk onto the patient during the procedure. Excellent condition and running smoothly. This drill has 2 speeds on the model 11 motor. I can't say for sure that the high and low speeds work. It runs the same as far as I can tell with the way it sounds. I can't tell if the drill is spinning faster or not. The base has a plate on it that reads mount for SS White Electric Motor Laboratory Type. The base has a bit of corrosion on part of it. Pictured below. The arm is 4 pieces to accomodate about any angle or direction you need to get into for the procedure. There is a little bit of rust on the arms in a few places. It's realy ... morenot very bad at all. Only in a couple spots is there any at all. I'm pretty sure this is from 1937 or 1938. I'm thinking 1938. Industrial Antique SS White Dentist Drill Dental Pulley Hook Vintage Steampunk
For your consideration is a section of an antique dental drill. Marked SS White. This section of the instrument would have been attached to the power source. Included here is the main black shaft(brass underneath) with mounting holes at the base, and two more nickel plated hinged shafts, each with double pulleys. There is a double hook at the top of one shaft and a drill bit at the bottom of the other. Top shaft rotates 90 degrees; bottom shaft rotates 180 degrees. In remarkable condition. Smooth functioning. A beautiful piece to collect, complete a set, or re-purpose for Industrial Interior. Measurements: black base arm 21" long. Middle arm 16.5" end arm 11.5" drill just over 6" double hooks 3.5" widest, pulley wheels 1/4 insert.

Never saw a set of these before and they came out of a long time local collection. This is a Circa 1915 No 10 Assortment of Trubyte Crowns that were made by The Dentists Supply Company of New York City. They are in the original case which consists of 2 layers or tiers of crowns to be used by the dentist. By my calculations the Case is about 90 percent complete along with having 4 of 7 of the'crown posts' A wonderful dental display item and from a company that was founded in 1899 and still exists but under a different name I believe. Antique 1909 Human Teeth Set In Wax Display Dentistry Dentist Science Medical
This auction is for a group of 26 human teeth set in black wax type material. I find a date of 1909 and other writing on them. The wax stuff has melted a little on some pieces as shown. I think the teeth will clean up very nice. They look dirty from the black waxy stuff leaving residue on them. I will let new owner decide. There as also a little brush with them. I am not sure what it is for. This was a medical or science display back then. These come from a historical Duluth Minnesota estate.

The print is a wood engraving printed in 1895. The print is matted in a 10 X 8 inch mat and is ready to be framed in a standard size 10 X 8 inch frame. The mat opening measures 5 X 3 1/2 inches. Cast Iron EARLY Dentist Chair! Adjustable Gears! Antique Steampunk industrial
Up for sale is this unbelievable very early dental chair. Probably from right around the turn of the century. The chair is incredibly heavy and solid. The adjustment gears still work and the seat can go from 90 deg to all the way back where your feet will be above your head. The metal has a beautiful patina with some paint. There is a base foot attachment that connects and has an SWS monogram. Everything is cast iron except of the two round knobs on the back, the floor board of the footrest, and the seats The uphosltry is in VERY rough condition. The leather seat is essentially wrecked and there is a hole in the back rest. The head rest leather is pretty good. The gears which control the height of the head rest are tight. they may loosen with some WD40. But I didn't want to change the chair at all. The floor board of the footrest is wood ... morecovered with some material. that material is pretty chewed up and definitely got wet at some point. The wood still looks good. The hydraulic lift makes noise and is free, but I can't seem to get the chair to go down to it's lowest height. There are two detachable arms, one is broken at the attachment point and to be fixed would need to be welded back together. This chair is gorgeous and very early. It's in rough condition. Thus the price, but simply replacing the leather would make the chair useable and a great addition to your home. This cannot be shipped. it probably weighs around 200-250 lbs. I'll drive up to an hour from 07456 to meet you or drop this off. Though if you live further, I may be willing to make the trip. Please contact me with any questions! The Skeleton Key is very proud to offer for sale an original 1882 Walker Browne Portable Dentist Chair made by the Walker Browne Dental Company. This chair was made for the traveling dentist and was carried from town to town in a horse and carriage. Chair is in exceptional condition with minor nicks and scratches here and there. There is one repair that I can see on the left where the recline bar adjustment attaches to the back rest. A dowel was placed in the screw hole for reinforcement. It has no breaks or cracks. I have done extensive research on this chair and cannot find another example anywhere in any other shop or site. Not even at the Dental Museum in South Carolina. They have two similar examples in their collection, but not the Walker Browne. The first technologically driven barber chair was patented by Koken in 1878, this chair has a patent date of 1882 so it is a very early example of very innovative designs and engineering including 7 different levels of height adjustment, three angles of reclining, adjustable head and foot rest, and of course the ability to fold up. Not only is this a nice old sign. The Dentist's name is also a funny/clever play on words(I Freed Man) This substantial sign weighs 12 lbs. and measures 21 7/8" wide x 6 1/16" high x 1/2" thick. The two hanging rods measure 5 1/4" in length. I'll leave it to the experts out there to determine the age of this piece. My best guess would place it in the Early 1900's- 1930's. This sign shows all the wonderful patina you would expect from a sign this old. Both sides retain the original white paint on the embossed letters. One side retains the majority of the original brown background paint. While the opposite side shows more loss to the brown ... morepaint. The cabinet is in very good condition for the age and the travels it has been. The outside leather cover shows wear and tear. Some wrinkling on the bottom edge and the bottom of the case. There are a couple of small snags on the side and back. The lower left facing corner protector is loose. Once opened the cabinet exposes three level articulated tray system. From the es ta te of Charles W. Moody(Sept. 15. 1876- Oct. 29, 1956) Graduate of The Vanderbilt University School of Dentistry 1901 who practiced in Guthrie. KY. Consolidated Dental Mfg C o. metal cuspidor and filter with original period wooden box( 8" x 8 1/2" x 8 3/8" Marked CD on the bottom. It appears to have been used exhibiting some oxidation and very minor dings but in overall good shape as the pictures demonstrate.
