What I believe to be, an Antique Black Glass Round Dental Tray. It is not a dark amethyst, no light shows through the glass. On the back the tray is marked"Made in the U.S. of America" 336-368 and in the center is a large letter"W" with two letters"S" on top of the W. I believe this make to be for the Samuel Stockton White Dental Company. There is a ridge. Measuring about 5/8" wide, that goes around the bottom outer circumference of the tray. On the inside edge of this ridge is a chip measuring ... moreabout 9/16" long, 1/4" wide and less than 1/16" deep. I cannot find any other chips, cracks or repairs on the piece. This tray looks as if it has had very little use or was used with great care. The scratches are extremely few. There are also a couple of straw marks on the bottom. It measures approx. 14-1/2" in diameter and is about 3/4" tall. It is also quite heavy. This is a really nice S.S. White Dental Tray. The chip mentioned above in no way takes away from the appearance of the tray. To see the chip the tray has to be turned upside down and the bottom examined. Antique 1900's Dental Stand Black Glass Iron Medical Table Vintage Industrial
Listing this evening a great old dentist's office item from the early 1900's. This particular stand was removed from a dentists office when he acquired a new"stainless steel" unit from his dental supply salesman sometime around 1955. The stand is 33 1/2" tall. 16 1/2" wide(at the widest point) and 14 1/4" deep. The frame is iron with glossy black paint. The shelves are made of clear thick plate glass that has had multiple coats of black paint applied to the underside of the glass. From a distance it would appear that the shelves are made of black glass. The condition of the iron is excellent(no breaks or rust) The condition of the glass is variable. The top shelf(16" x 14" has the most wear because it was obviously used more often. There are many scratches on the top shelf as well as some chips on ... morethe edges(see pics) The two lower shelves(12" x 10" are in better condition(less scratches and only 2 chips on the back of the lowest shelf) These stands don't come around very often because they were often thrown out when those new stainless steel stands appeared. We have a set of four antique Odol Milk glass bottles from the late 1800's. Two of the bottles are marked on the bottom with"Odol" and the other one"Patent. The ones stamped"patent" were most likely used for Irex Tooth Powders where were placed on the market by the proprietors of Odol. All have a hand finished lip, with a ground top. The hand finished top and blown into mold bottle dates to the late 1800's. Later version of these Odol products were used by the German soldiers, Wehrmacht, during WWII for their personal toiletries. They stand at approx. 4 1/6" tall x 2 1/8" wide. The bottles are octagon shaped bottles with its distinctive left-facing opening, and all are stamped with"M" and 3 digit numbers on the bottom right. There is toning and slight scuffing on the glass, and they could use good cleaning. Be sure to look at all of our photos. Good Luck! These came from a great early dental cabinet we sold a few years ago, they were removed for transporting the cabinet to auction and forgotten. 3- Antique Milk Glass Dental Tool Trays(unmarked. But similar to those by the American Cabinet Company) Each vintage tray measures 4" x 8" and is grooved to hold individual tools. Overall condition is good to very good used. There are no cracks or chips but there may be some nicks/ edge roughness as should be expected given the age and from general use/ storage. Very nice dental item. Britton's Cement, mfg by W. Ogden Britton Trenton NJ. Finger jointed 3"x 4"x 1-1/2" wood box with label under lid. Two remaining corked bottle with embossed lettering read"Vitrified Cement powder" and"MFD By W.Ogden Britton Trenton NJ USA" One cork is labeled yellow and the other grey and measur 2-1/4" to top of cork.

Vintage 1800's Dental Caulk's Crown-Bridge & Cold Inlay Cement Jar/ Glass Bottle
Up for auction is this beautiful. Clear, round, and hand blown bottle standing appx 2.25 inches. ~ Bottle is embossed CAULK'S CROWN-BRIDGE AND GOLD INLAY CEMENT. It has a recessed back panel for a label. ~ Good shape with some residue. Words are readable. No cracks, some minor"dings" ~ I believe this bottle is dated to the late 1800's. Possibly 1890, but I can not verify that. Shipping will be 1st Class mail. I will secure this beautiful glass bottle for shipping. Old Vintage Milk Glass& Wire Measure Dosage? C3C DSANO Phila Dental Products I'm telling you. I have a bunch of old medical and dental come find me recently, and this one, I'm calling vintage in my title, but I do think that it's old enough to be antique- I just couldnt' find another like it, nor could I find any information on the company. I am not completely sure what it is- first, I thought it was some type of physician dosage spoon, so I was surprised to see on the inside that it's actually an old dental piece. It has measure lines that go from 1 to three inside of the well, and then a logo that has c3c on top of the oval shaped logo- all in blue, it reads, Superior Sanitary Scientific Dental Products DSANO Philadelphia. So, dental, it is! It's made from two pieces- a wireware stand made from twisted wire, ... moreand a very thin light milk glass cup that sits inside the wire, raised from the table. The cup measures 1 15/16" diameter at the top and 1 5/8" tall from the top of the mouth to the bottom of the well. There's a 1/8" shallow chip to the mouth that I'm showing you in photo 11. It's so small, it's hard to see without magnification, and it could be sanded down if you wanted to- I'd leave it though. I noticed that the number 1 and line on the inside of the well has faded, with the others being bright and don't appear to be faded. it measures 4 1/4" long from the end of the cup to the looped end of the wire that appears to be a handle as well as a stand. It's light, weighing only an ounce or so. I'm guessing you know more about this one than I do. I just thought it was a very cool and unusual piece. Customer Satisfaction is extremely important to me.
