Antique dental Cabinet Unit. Vintage Electro Dental switchbox. Unique dental switch box. Loaded with gauges. Dials, and terminals. This dental switch box is mounted onto its original mahogony cabinet. A rare find and a nice display. The dental swithbox was used to control and regulate power to any of several devices used in the dental exam room. Lighting. X-ray, drills and suction were all controlled by this"high tech" device. The exterior of the mahogony cabinet on this unit has been recently refinished. The wiring to the light bulb has been replaced. Description Wonderful antique Ransom Randolph wood traveling dental cabinet/ case. This great old case is made of oak. And has not been refinished to my knowledge. It has seven drawers: the top three drawers have pop-up divided trays for dental instruments; the bottom four have divided compartments, and include several removable storage pieces. Brass plate on top says“The Ransom Randolph Co. Toledo, Ohio/ Pat. Apl’d For” Case measures approximately 13” tall. 11” long, and 9” wide. The hardware appears to be original, and it has most of an original key that is partially broken(the head is missing) I have not tried to use the key, as I’m afraid to push it all the way inside the lock for fear of not being able to get it back out. Cosmetically. ONE-OF-A-KIND Aseptic Dental Cabinet by Lee S. Smith& Son Co of Pittsburgh USA. The lower metal tag says"The Bown Steel Dental Cabinets; Patented April(13 or 15) 1909" The cabinet clearly needs to be refurbished. The rust appears to be on the surface only. I have not found any spots where it is rusted through the metal. The glass in all doors is original. And the upper right door has"Sterilizer" etched on the glass and the original metal tray shelves are there. The photos show the trays and the glass shelves are switched and the lower cabinet glass shelves are missing but can be replaced through any glass company. All hinges and locks are original, but no keys, but can easily be replaced also. The original half-circle waste can is included and there is an access door on the side that is not like any other cabinet available. ... moreI have decided not to refurbish because I know that a collector would want it done their way through someone they trust. I have done a lot of searching and have only found some that are larger and some that are much smaller; a slightly larger one in particular sold for $12.500. This is the only one that is this size and of this model. Therefore I am classifying it as ONE-OF-A-KIND. It was used in a home dental office in a house that my grandparents bought in the 1950's or 60's. The dentist using it was retiring. I do not know who he was. But the equipment was left behind and my father kept it. Many people told him to haul it to the dump but he always told me it might be worth something. He died in 2012 and left it to me, before his oldest granddaughter(my daughter) got engaged to a man he really liked. I think he would be so happy to know that I could sell it to help pay for her wedding, since he could not. So in a way, he is helping! There is also a wooden register from the 1920's that I am also selling. It was also part of this dentist office. Please search for my other auction to check it out.

This is a Lee Smith& Sons Aseptic Dental Cabinet by The Bown Steel Co. Pittsburgh. PA. This is a very rare piece that was manufactured between 1900 and 1909. The glass doors are beveled and are hung on very unique heavy gauge circular hinges. There are 6 drawers that swing open and are mounted on circular hinges. The two bottom doors also use the same hinges. The hinges and knobs are brass and the complete piece is in good condition overall. Please note that although there is paint missing this cabinet is not rusted. It has been stored indoors in a smoke free home. Shipping could be arranged at the buyer's expense. Antique ca 1900 T.H. Grigg Bracket Table Denist Dental Cabinet Case
Antique ca 1900 T.H. Grigg Bracket Table/ Cabinet for Dentists. Patented 1893. Measures approx. 14" square by 4" high. This table is in fair to good condition for its age in my opinion. It has wear on the felt top. Scratches/ finish loss, a slight gap between the top and base at one corner and and a gap at the trim joint of another corner. This has two sides opposite of each other that pivot down to open for holding instruments etc. The third side has 2 shallow drawers and a corrugated tray. The 4th has one deep drawer. All the drawers open and close no problem. The pics are of the table. Please view them and form your own opinion as to condition. Very nice Antique 1920's Mahogany Dental Cabinet. It appears to be manufactured by The American Cabinet Company around the 1920's. This cabinet has the original milk glass shelving. Top, and glass knobs. The marble base has a crack on the right side of the cabinet. This cabinet has a marble base and mahogany wood. This is a old crack due to the marble colors. This Dentist cabinet has 22 drawers of various sizes with enameled white interiors and also has a secret compartment drawer that they told me the Dentist used to hide the money. This secret drawer has the welded brackets but missing the piece of wood that would lie on top of the brackets to make the false space) The cabinet also has three upper glass doors along with the original beveled mirror. It still smells like a Dentist's medicine cabinet. Open the drawers or top doors ... moreand you can smell different medicine odors. Dimensions: 40" wide. 12.5" deep and 63" tall. The rounded glass door is unique. All the doors and drawers that pull up, down, swing out were special. The workmanship makes it a fine piece of furniture, far more than just a piece of old dental equipment. Found a NSF check, in the cabinet addressed to Dr. Walters, in Iowa, dated Nov. 1926. Fine Antique S.S. White 6 dr. Dental Cabinet Tooth File Teeth Cherry Stacking
Rare unusual 6 drawer Dentist cabinet by S.S.White loaded with.teeth.There are a couple tools some papers and lots of replacement teeth. Many are imbedded into wax covered cards from the factory.some are just loose. Departures Teeth Patent one of the cards says. The cabinet is in fantastic original condition and looks to be cherry or mahogany. Deep dark red with lots of grain. Its been built with precision and highly crafted. The top removes.the drawer section.and a base. You must have been able to add sections like the old file cases and Lawers Book cases. There is a small key lock on one side. If you had a key you could lock all 6 drawers in one click. the knobs are brass and the tag reads S.S.White Dental MFG Co. It is 14 inches wide x 12 inches deep and 10 inches tall.
