Philadelphia, PA, patented 1901. It was used to make temporary teeth from brass or copper sheets. It is in very good as-found condition with smooth movement up and down. Antique brass dental flask casting tray This is a super cool antique dental casting mold tray. I believe the patent on this is from 1929. It was manufactured by Tench-Donham B.D.M. Co. in Buffalo. New York. This weighs almost 3 pounds. The lid of the device comes off to reveal the interior where dental molds were placed. The middle ring is also removable. This piece appears to have been used. There is some plaster residue that remains. There is some kind of stamp mark on the top and bottom of this but I do not know what it means. I think this would make a fun storage container for little things like nails and screws or buttons. It's definitely a conversation starter and will get attention! Up for bid is an antique Ritter Dental Gas Valve! The patent date is June 19. 1917! This piece has probably put more people to sleep than C-Span! Would make a great collectable for the dental professional or maybe put it to use again! It looks and feels like it should work fine! All knobs turn freely as does the pressure regulator knob on the top! The nickel plating has worn off most of the valve, revealing the brass underneath. I wouldn't do anything to polish it up for fear of losing the beautiful patina it displays now, after all the years of use! Also great for the steampunk collectors! This vintage Cleve-Dent(is stamped-into compressor end) Dental or Dentist air compressor pump was made of painted brass and some other type of non-magnetic metal and is heavy for its size. It is approximately 4-1/4 inches tall while the pulley is 3 inches in diameter and 1/4 inch wide. Good used condition with some surface oxidation. Paint loss and wear. This is a beautiful and complete"Crowning System. Style A" made by Consolidated Dental Mfg. Co. Includes: Amazing Brass tooth plate for forming the shape and points of the crown. 32 brass teeth punches for shaping the crown and 25 punches for forming the crown blank. Draw plate table for forming the crown blanks. The full instruction book tells how to shape a cap and how to make a seamless collar. The origional wood box which measures. 8 x 5 1/2 x 3 3/4. Inside the box lid is a goldtone label which reads.Consolidated Dental MFG. Co. The condition of the set is remarkable for its age and that it was a used set. Would make an awesome display and could conceivably still be used to demonstrate how crowns used to be made. From an 1908 dental magazine ad; The usual draw plate. hello here is a 1938 ebw handler& son denture making kit it has 2 presses 2 complete mold containers 1 crank tool and 1 denture holder with a set in it for final work I think. denture is marked dr. hassey and patient was Donavan! see pics the press with cups in it the upper plate is not attached to the crank down screw a minor detail and works fine see pic. the other press is perfect. Just when you think you might like to have lived back around the turn of the century. You come across something like this and it makes you glad it's 2015. This is a lot of old antique dental equipment that I'm sure was quite snazzy back in it's day. I'll describe it as best I can. Hopefully the pictures tell you everything you need to know. There is a 10 inch tall cast iron dental press with a separate base for screwing to a table and this press is marked Vydon. There is a brass press with no name but has 3 markings on it and they are FCB-2, FCC60B, and FCB-1-A. There is a small Brass Dental mold that is marked"Just Acrynamel" and it looks like there is an impression of someones tooth inside so if you need a tooth this size you are all set. There is a larger brass dental mold marked O'D Mfg. Co. Los Angeles. ... moreThere is something that looks like a brass handle with no markings.I guess if it isn't a handle maybe they just used it to knock your front tooth out. Anyway, all this stuff weighs about 24 pounds so it looks like a large flat rate carton will be the cheapest to anywhere in the US.

Old Nickel Plated Brass Spittoon/Cuspidor - Otto Partenheimer - Dental?
An interesting old nickel plated brass weighted spittoon or cuspidor. It is 5" tall. Approx. 5-1/2" across the body and 7-1/4" across the rim. It is marked on the base"OTTO PARTENHEIMER M'F'R OF METAL GOODS NEW-YORK" The condition is very good with numerous dents around the body but, no breaks or cracks. The nickel is in good shape on the body but, is almost completely worn off on the inside of the flared top. This is the size often used by dentists although it could have been for other purposes.
