Vintage RATTAN CANE& FORMICA TABLE& 4 CHAIRS DINING SET Mid Century Modern Description Vintage Rattan Dining Set A vintage rattan dining set from the late 1960’s or early 1970’s. There is no identification as to the maker but based on similar chair examples we have seen we believe it was made by Kalp-Sons. Santa Fe, Ca. The table has a harvest gold Formica top with rattan and cane edging and a rattan base. The rattan frame chairs have cane backs with cloth fabric seats having a butterflies print. Measurements: Table Height: 28” Table Top without Leaf: 43” x 55” Table Top with Leaf: 43” x 73” Table Leaf: 18” wide Chair Seat Height: 17” Chair Overall Height: 35” Seat Diameter: 18” Condition: As is typical of vintage and antique furniture. The set is not perfect. The finish shows some wear, understandable for a 40 +/ year old piece of ... morefurniture but considering its age it is still in decent shape. The caning on the back of one chair has been replaced and though it was a decent job. It is noticeable and not quite the same as the factory job. The cushions have been reupholstered with a butterfly print cloth and the seats are all in very good condition. A few screws have been added randomly to the bases of the chairs for tightening and strengthening and they are structurally solid. The base of the table is structurally solid and in very good condition. The original Formica top shows minor wear and is in very good condition. A nice feature of the table is the ease of installing and removing the leaf with the patented mechanism making it so only one person can easily do the job in seconds. The set shows a little wear from its intended use but certainly is presentable and displays nicely. Overall condition is very good and it will give many more years of service. The table has rounded corners and a 12" pull out leaf that has a wire storage rack under the table. It measures 47" long when closed and open with the leaf it is 59" It has a height of 27" to the skirt and 30" to the top. The width at the center seam is 29 5/8" The chairs have a white vinyl upholstery. The chairs were re-upholstered at some point. There are no rips/tears or stains on the chairs. There is one cane looking face drawer under the table it has the resemblance of Lane design but its not marked. The top is formica which is impervious to liquid spills which makes it easy to clean and also lessens the probability of it sustaining cup rings. Here is a retro vintage red cracked ice formica chrome kitchen dining table with 4 chairs. It's is pretty good shape for its age. I have cleaned the chrome and it is bright and shines will need to be done again as I can't keep this in the house along with the other sets I also have up for auction. Up under the table where the legs attach to the table there is some rust but could be sanded down with steel wool. There is no leaf. Two of the 4 chairs have a tear in the seats. One is one inch long and the other is about 4" You can buy vinyl repair kits especially made for this or have them all reupholstered. Table is white formica with gold speckles throughout and a pattern of aqua and gold diamonds running in two parallel rows along the length of the table. At auction is a beautiful 1956 Formica& Chrome Kitchen Table& Chairs set. Everybody had one of these! Pretty much the American Standard for Kitchens after the war. The table is 55 inches long with leaf in and 45 inches when removed. Table is 32 inches wide and 18 inches high. Chair seats are 15 X 16 inches wide and 18 inches high. The leaf on this table folds up and hides under the table. Have not seen another table do this! The color of the table top is a standard cracked ice yellow. You can buy this cracked Ice fabric color as well to put on the chairs. Cracked Ice was very popular in the 50′s and 60′s. Cracked Ice Vinyl was especially popular in diners and roadside cafes. Vintage red cracked ice formica table with 6 chairs
I have a unique Red Cracked Ice Formica table that has a wonderful look to it. The table measure 3 ft wide and 66 inches long with the leaf in it. If you take the leaf out it is 12 inches less. It was made by LLoyd Mfc of Menominee Mi. and was made to last a lifetime. It comes with 6 chairs which all have small cracks in them. The table and chairs are all in original condition and of course do show some of the wear.

Adorable red"crackle/ice" formica and chrome table made just for a child. How cute and practical would this be in a retro kitchen. If my grandsons were just a little younger I would never let this go but it's to hard to get a 12 yr old to sit there. This is a fabulous. Sleek, vintage formica and chrome dinette set from the 1940's or 50's in incredible condition from an estate. Most of the furniture from this estate is from the 1940's and is in unbelievable condition. It has all been impeccably maintained. This dinette set is clean with no notable flaws. There are some pinpoint spots on the chrome and some minor surface discoloration in some places on the chrome. But I have not done anything to it. I am selling as I found it which is in fabulous condition! This set is so versatile. It is a drop leaf gate leg table. All hinges and movable parts move easily and are in great condition. The table measures 30" wide. The length is determined by how many of the leafs you have up. If you drop both leafs the table measures 18-1/2" long. One leaf up measures 32-3/8" and ... moreif you have both leafs up it is 46-1/8" long. 28-3/16" tall. The chairs appear to have the original upholstery and are in excellent condition with no flaws noted. As shown in photos. One chair has an indentation from where the other chair has been stacked on top of it, but the upholstery is not damaged. You can see the indentation in the photos. Vintage Formica Hidden Leaf Kitchen Table with 4 Viko Chairs 1950s 60s Retro
The following auction is for a vintage formica top hidden leaf table and 4 Chairs. They are not a matched set. The legs on the chairs are different than the legs on the table. The table and chairs are used and show some wear. The table has no manufacturers markings on it.But the chairs say VIKO on the bottom. The chairs and table could use a good cleaning as they are dusty/dirty from being in storage. THE TABLE-The table has a few light stains and scratches on the top of it. When you pull the table apart to get the hidden leaf out a bar sticks a little. There is a round bar that swings around that holds the leaf. It likes to slide out when you spread the table. It needs the locking edge on the end of the bar. It still works and would be easily fixed. Some of the screws are missing from the table legs. Where it screws into the table bottom. ... moreI don't know if these are the original legs for the table. They are sort of a brass color,but the paint is flaking or tarnished. Floor to Table Top-29.5 inches- Tabletop with no leaf 41.5 X 41.5 inches- Tabletop with leaf in is about 41.5 by 59 inches-THE CHAIRS- The chairs are used and show lots of wear. They are marked Viko on the bottom. They are an odd looking chair that looks part wood and part metal. The cushions are all crap on them. They are split and cracked. They are really dirty and would need reupholstered with new vinyl. The chairs are still very sturdy. I would stand on one and not be worried about breaking it. The metal on the chairs is really dirty and needs wiped down. I think the people who owned it may of smoked at one time. I wiped them off with a damp cloth and it looked brown. The chairs have a wood grain look on the legs.But they are metal. There are a few spots on the back of the chair where it looks like there was tape removed. You can see it in the pics. From the floor to the top of the back of the chair measures about 29.5 inches- From the floor to the top of the seat measures about 17 inches- Seat measures about 15 X

The top has one leaf that installs properly. The legs have bumps and bruises. The chairs are in good condition with decent vinyl and strong frames. There is wear along the seams and spotty holes. This is a great retro looking 1950's Canary yellow Dinette Table with tubular chrome legs. It has a removable leaf and Formica top. Just the color would brighten any room. This was my grandmother's and it has always been stored carefully and the wood underneath is also in great condition. Underneath it is imprinted with“327 Dept 7” With the leaf. This table measures 5 feet long and 35 inches in width. The leaf is 12 inches wide so without it the table is 4 feet long. Wooden dowels in excellent condition. Chrome legs have some surface rust. Formica kitchen table (Retro 50's) with leaf and four chairs
Retro yellow Formica table with leaf and four chairs. Edge chrome is in very good shape. Leaf and chrome legs are also in very good shape. Two of the four chairs have a small damage spot. Some of the chairs do not have original floor guards. The blue mark on the table photo came off with cleaning. From my mother's estate and had great care over the years. Table is at least 60 years old.

Beautiful vintage formica table & 6 chairs
great vintage dining table. It is an original piece, not reproduction. Only 5 chairs pictured because we use a highchair at dinner. One chair has a 1" tear in the cushion, otherwise this is a nice set we have use for years. Great pattern on seat back also carried through the lower piping. 59 1/4 long w/o 12" leaf(included) 3 ft. wide, 29 1/2 high. I prefer local pick up. But will aid in shipping within reason. We bought this off eBay in Ohio& got a reasonable price through U-ship, vs. other shippers that wanted more than the table. Please feel free to ask any questions.

BEAUTIFUL 1950s DINING SET FORMICA TABLE AND FOUR SHADOW BOX CHAIRS RED & WHITE
an antique 1950s dinning room table and 4 chairs. Formica top and comes with a leaf. The four chairs are in great condition for their age. But there is a hole in one of the seats and a hole on one of the back rest top all of this is pictured. there was stripping along the edges of the back of the chairs also as pictured. the chairs have hand painted flowers in a shadow box style back. The table measures 30" tall x 47" and 59" with the leaf. Chairs are 35 1/2" tall to the top back. seats are 19" high the shadowbox is 7/8" in depth with tacks all around the box. and each chair has a handle on the top of the back for carrying or moving.there are two chips on the table pic 7& 8. May need a light cleaning. questions are welcome. For local pick up only
