There are 6 chairs and 2 extra leaves for the table. Some small scratches are on the table but you have to look for them. The third to last picture shows one slight blemish. The color is off in that picture. The set is in excellent condition. Beautifully crafted and lots of style. The table has custom pads. You can make the table smaller by dropping one or both of the ends. Or you can extend it with extra leaves. The leaves are a higher gloss than the rest of the table. You can either refinish the table or keep it as is. The table dimensions are 5" Long by 40" across. The wood has scratches and wear but still looks nice(see pictures) The seat and backrest material is worn, dirty, and is torn on some of the corners. We had planned on recovering them before we decided not to keep them. The chairs have"L" brackets added to the underside of each chair to give the seat portion more support. The wooden dowels that cover the screw holes on the sides of the chairs were glued in. When I took these chairs apart to get them ready for shipping, I cleaned the glue off of everything and added a double sided tape to hold the dowels in place when they are re-assembled. Table and chairs both have heavy welded wrought iron bases and bases do not disassemble for shipping. 3 of the chairs have a vertical split in the vinyl on the front of the back. I shot pics of each of these. Bottom cushions are all nice except one has some snag like marks in the front-also shown in a pic. There is no identification as to the maker but based on similar chair examples we have seen we believe it was made by Kalp-Sons. Santa Fe, Ca. The table has a harvest gold Formica top with rattan and cane edging and a rattan base. The rattan frame chairs have cane backs with cloth fabric seats having a butterflies print. The caning on the back of one chair has been replaced and though it was a decent job. It is noticeable and not quite the same as the factory job. The cushions have been reupholstered with a butterfly print cloth and the seats are all in very good condition. A few screws have been added randomly to the bases of the chairs for tightening and strengthening and they are structurally solid. The base of the table is structurally solid and in very good condition. The original Formica top shows minor wear and is in very good condition. A nice feature of the table is the ease of installing and removing the leaf with the patented mechanism making it so only one person can easily do the job in seconds. The set shows a little wear from its intended use but certainly is presentable and displays nicely. Overall condition is very good and it will give many more years of service. Mid Century Mod 1960's Chromecraft, Chromantic 66, 4 Star Trek Style Chairs
This is a great set of four 60's MOD chairs. They are made by Chromcraft Inc. Senatobia, Miss. And are called Chromatic 66. They are in the condition I just found them in. I've done nothing to them except wipe them off with Pledge. I took separate photos of each chair so please see photos for condition. There is one chair that has a quarter size hole in the Vinyl(see last photos) and there are a few other small(prick) holes throughout the set. The bases are sturdy and swivel fine. But they are nearly 50 years old, so they have a little play in them. I go about 250lbs, and they handled my weight fine) I spun on all four chairs with my feet in the air to test them(kinda fun! Also, one seat is missing a bolt that attaches to the base, but it looks like it would be an easy repair to put a new bolt in its place, and the seat handled my ... moreweight just fine with only three bolts holding it. Anyway. They are not perfect, but look pretty darn cool and are no doubt functional as they sit. Please ask any question if you have them. I have for sale a vintage Chromcraft dining table and set of four chairs. They were manufactured by Chromcraft. Inc. of Senatobia, Mississippi. The dining table top is made of wood with white veneer. The base is made of steel with chrome finish. The chairs have vinyl covered seats. And chromed steel legs. They have spring mechanism built under the seat that lets the seat lean back a little. The white top of the table is very clean. There are small stains but not very noticeable. The legs of the table and chairs have minor rust spots. They can be cleaned with a good metal cleaner. The vinyl covers on the seat have some discolorations on them. Especially on the top area of the backs. I believe they are caused by fine mist of cooking oil. While being in the kitchen. The legs of the table are chrome and have a design reminiscent of Milo Baughmans style. The chrome still has a lot of shine and looks amazing together with the yellow vinyl of the chairs. This auction is for a gorgeous 1950's dinette set. Table and four chairs. Serving tray in picture not included. The turquoise or teal color is a rare find in these old sets. This is all original, not refurbished and is in good condition. The chairs are amazing, no rips or tears. The table top is also in good condition. The pictures show the color as much more washed out than it is in person, it is turquoise also. The defects I find are in the metal banding around the outside edge of the table, which is very common in these tables. I have tried to show in the pictures how the banding is separated slightly. I am sure this can be fixed if it is an issue for you, I think the table looks fantastic just as it is. One table leg is missing the clips that hold it in place and someone has replaced those with other material. The metal on the table ... moreand chairs is in better condition than some I have seen and not as good as others, overall I would say the metal is average, though I have done nothing to it, not so much as wiping it down, so it may polish up great. Vintage Mid Century French Provincial Dining Table & 4 Chairs
Charming vintage French Provincial table and four chairs. The table features solid wood(fruit wood? top surface with the original warm creamy yellow base and cabriole legs. The wood is naturally distressed due to age and use- mainly the edges of the table and ends of the legs. The chairs were re-upholstered at some point in a nice damask pattern that matches the chairs beautifully. The arm chair has a different upholstery and design as the other three chairs. There is slight staining on the upholstery; there are no rips or tears. The back of the chairs are ornately scrolled with highlights of gold and original caning. We repaired one of the chairs where the dowel was exposed. You can see this in the last photo. The table stands 29" tall and is 40" wide. There are no leaves. The chairs are 39" tall. The seat is 20" wide ... moreat the front of the chair and tapers to 14" wide at the back. It's 16" deep and 17 1/4" from floor to the top of the seat. It's a solid and heavy set so we recommend that this piece be picked up at our Shabadashery Shoppe at 137 2nd Street in Historic Troy. Vintage Chromcraft Dining Set Table 4 Chairs Mid-Century Modern Dinette 60's/70
These are available for pick up here ONLY. No shipping. If you don't have anything big enough to haul them in I will deliver within 100 miles for a fee of $150. If I have toll roads it will be more. If you are closer I can do it for less. You get 4 chairs with the table that went with them. Chairs are signed Chromcraft Decorables Selection 1967. seat height is 18" in front and sort of angles down in the back so you set comfortably. Back height is 34 1/2" Seat is 18 1/2" wide by 17 1/2" deep. Bases are cast aluminum and polished and are 17 1/4" across the closest points 23 3/4" across the far ends. They roll and swivel nicely. Seat height without the rollers is 15" Center shaft from the base to the bottom of the chair is chrome plated steel. One of the chairs is missing 3 of the inserts that hold the ... morewheels in. I just put some electrical tape on them and they stay in place ok. Another of the chairs has a hole drilled in each foot where they had a screw installed to hold the rollers in place. They put too small an insert into them and it wouldn't hold the wheels in properly. Also on the others I had to shim the rollers with electrical tape as the inserts are worn. A few rollers stay like they should but not many. If you wanted to fix them properly you can find correct inserts in hardware stores/home centers. You find these chairs with a vinyl covering quite often but seldom with cloth. Cloth looks good with no holes or tears or stains. You can partially see the seam on one of them along the side edge if you pull the back upholstery back. You cannot see it unless you do pull the side back. Table without the extra leaf is 30" tall by 41 1/4" round. Leaf is 17 5/8" wide making the size together 41 1/4" by almost 59" It is a formica like wood grain veneer. This table will extend from a modest 48" round size to a whopping 108" racetrack design with all three leaves employed. The cane backs are all in stunning condition for their age with only one chair having a flaw worth mentioning that is a very small 1/2" hole in the cane weave as pictured here. Designed by Richard Thompson in the early 1970's, these four Glenn of California#21111 side chairs still retain their original textured cream colored fabric upholstery.which is also in great condition and has no rips or tears in any of the seat's fabric upholstery. Very heavy solid walnut Scandinavian style table was designed by Milo Baughman in the 1950's for Glenn of California and is also in very good overall condition. This is a fabulous. Sleek, vintage formica and chrome dinette set from the 1940's or 50's in incredible condition from an estate. Most of the furniture from this estate is from the 1940's and is in unbelievable condition. It has all been impeccably maintained. This dinette set is clean with no notable flaws. There are some pinpoint spots on the chrome and some minor surface discoloration in some places on the chrome. But I have not done anything to it. I am selling as I found it which is in fabulous condition! This set is so versatile. It is a drop leaf gate leg table. All hinges and movable parts move easily and are in great condition. The table measures 30" wide. The length is determined by how many of the leafs you have up. If you drop both leafs the table measures 18-1/2" long. The manufacturer is Foster Mc David. There is a stamp on the table and one of the arm chairs has a paper with the manufacturer's details. The whole set has a beautiful reddish wood tone. The dining table has 2 extensions to make it longer. The table measures 59.84 inches x 42.12 inches(without 2 extensions) It extends to 83.46 inches with the extensions. This set has 4 chairs: two arm chairs and 2 armless chairs. Seats are off white vinyl. Please note: The wicker on one of the arm chairs is torn on its back and the wicker on the back of the other arm chair is in a fragile stage(almost torn) We were told it is easily fixable.

Retro 1950s 50s Mid Century Kitchen Dinette Set Formica Table w leaf & 4 Chairs
I have up for sale a fabulous 1950s Dinette Set. The table was made by WALTER OF WABASH. Comes with one extension leaf and has a faux wood grain formica top. The chairs were made by Kay-Mar Industries Inc- Cassopolis, Michigan. I purchased the set direct from the original owner who told me, her and her husband purchased the set sometime in the 50s. The table has unusual legs that have a weaved pattern at the top corner section. The legs are copper colored steel with a brass toned metal weaving pattern on the corner sections. The top is is superb condition- it has a faux wood grain formica top and one matching leaf. The table minus the leaf measures approx 47" long by 35-1/2" wide. The leaf is approx 11-1/2" wide- 35-1/2" long. The table is in great shape- no damages and any wear is modest. The chairs are in excellent condition! ... moreI would say that they are slightly smaller than normal sized chairs- sturdy but not necessarily for a real large person in my opinion. The stand 31" tall. The backs approx 16-1/4" across. The seats are approx 15-1/2" wode- 14-1/4" deep and from the ground to the top of the seat is approx 17-1/2" I am not sure of the material of the seats but something on the order of vinyl. No rips,No tears nor any punctures to the seats. Some very modest light wear but overall excellent shape. I am calling this a set but the chairs were not made by the same company as the table. The chairs were made by Kaymar Industries Inc and the table by Walter of Wabash. The old gal that I purchased this from took fantastic care of everything see owned. And overall the set is in superb shape for its age. Any wear is very minor. You will not be disappointed. I will not ship the item myself. If you want to arrange a shipper to pick it up from me that is fine, but I would want payment directly after the sale and you can take care of the shipping on your end.
