Table measures 30-1/2" in height to top of table and about 25-1/2" from floor to the bottom edge of carved apron below the table's top. 41" wide and 60" long without the extension. Table pads are in 3 sections to accommodate the extension's use, if desired and are made exactly to outline the carved shape of the table. There is a gap in the carved apron when table is used with extension. There are some water marks, surface scratching, and edge wear to the table's top as would be expected for a used table of this vintage. Table pads have some scuffing and wear to the surface. Charming vintage French Provincial table and One Arm Chair. The table features solid wood(fruit wood? top surface with the original warm creamy yellow base and cabriole legs. Beautiful Antique Bassett Solid Fruitwood French Provincial Cane-Back Dining Set
This gorgeous set made by Bassett features a lovely table that seats six to ten. The table has two removable leaves that extend the table from 66” to 78” to 90” Without leaves it measures 44” x 66” The hutch measures 65” x 82” and features 11 shelves with plate ledges and 3 large drawers to hold all of your china. Glassware, silver, place mats, etc. The glass doors feature removable metal grids. They were removed for the photos. A custom-made protective pad is included to protect the top. Even the leaves have separate protector pads. Just the pads cost well over $200. There are some light surface scratches on the top of the table. But nothing serious. I tried to photograph them, but they didn't show up at all. There are six lovely cane-back side chairs including one arm chair. The set is constructed of solid fruitwood.
