We have loved this table and it has been the base for countless celebrations and family dinners. This is a beautiful set. Though the table and chairs did not originally come together, they look as though they were made for each other. The incredible solid mahogany triple pedestal table is banded around the perimeter. The 3 pedestals all have 4 legs, each with brass casters. Each table section is attached to the pedestal, if you remove the center section, you also remove the center pedestal. The table was made by Georgian Furniture Manufacturers; this company no longer exists, they had showrooms in London, Paris, and Rome. Their furniture was of the highest reputation and built by hand in Seoul South Korea. It is incredibly well engineered and crafted. Table was likely made in the 1970's; the company now operating under this is not the same maker. Hollywood Regency Chinese Chippendale Faux Bamboo Dining Set - 6 Chairs & Table
This fabulous Chinese Chippendale table and chairs set is faux bamboo metal. The table has a 48.5" diameter and is 29" high. The glass for the table is in very good condition with no chips or cracks and the table is also in very good lightly used condition. The detailed chairs are also in very good condition but the cushion covers will need to be redone. The chairs measure 18" at the seat's widest point. 36.5" high, 21.25" deep, the chair back is 18.25" at its widest and the seat sits 17.5" from the floor. I apologize for the pictures but the set is in my garage and due to the amount of snow we have had. I am unable to take it out for better pics. This fabulous dining set is actually two manufacturers but they match perfectly. As you'll see in the pictures. The chairs are made by John Widdicomb, who is probably the most well regarded furniture manufacturer in the country. These chairs were over $4,000 each when new. They are now over 40 years old and still in perfect condition. The table and china cabinet are cherry wood as well and match the chairs perfectly. They are part of Lexington Furniture Company's Oxford Cherry. The table is 46" x 76" at it's smallest and has two 24" leaves that extend it to 46" x 100" or 46" x 124" The table also has two storage drawers in each end of the table. The china cabinet has recessed lighting in the top portion and adjustable shelving below. It measures 52" x 86" I purchased the chairs at an ... moreestate auction in Bethesda. MD. in 1990. Adjustable thick glass shelves with grooves, mirrored back, lighted. Center bottom cabinet with 3 drawers behind 2 doors. Measurements: 89 1/2"H x 77"W x 17 1/3"D. Top: 60 1/2"H.Bottom piece: 29"center shelves are 12 1/2" deep, side shelves are 11" deep. Table is made out of solid mahogany. Beautifully banded, c arved knees. Ball and claw feet. Has a leaf.
