Sale!!Brown and Saltman Mid Century Modern Danish Teak Dining Table
PICK UP ONLY This is an amazingly beautiful table. Not sure who the designer was but it was made for Lowes of Pasadena by Brown and Saltman. It's in very good condition but not perfect. There are a couple light glass water marks. A small ding in one corner of the table and a couple light scratches. Other than that it is perfect. I think the table had leafs for the center but I don't have them. Solid and sturdy. And the teak wood is wonderful. Measures. 6 ft in length 3 ft 4 inches wide 2 ft 5 inches high. A classic teak dining table manufactured in Denmark. This table is the quintessential Danish modern expandable dining table. It features two Dutch style extraction leaves which pull out from either end of the table allowing for eight to dine comfortably. The frame is solid wood and the legs and banding are solid teak. The leaves match well with the tabletop and the piece is in excellent vintage condition with barely any wear. The teak has a wonderful tone and has a nice mellow and even grain pattern. One of the chairs needs to be fixed, an"L" bracket on the underside has come off; also one or two of the leather chairs has a small tear int he leather, I will try to get a pic and attach it. I may have it fixed by the time it sells. Dimensions of the table with the slides in are: 51" L X 33.5" W. With the leafs pulled out, the dimensions are: 94" X 33.5" W. A very nice table that fits perfectly with the mid century minimalist look and feel. The only markings that lead me to Denmark made are under the chairs. this is a fine quality designer dining set made in denmark and imported by selig. these chairs seem to be very rare and obscure. it is certainly comparable to wegner.Juhl,hvidt etc. the table and chairs are the same designer. they all have the indented dimple at the top of the legs. the whole set is in very good to excellent all original condition. a couple of chairs did have the back re-glued and it should be re-done. it was not done professionally. while not too bad it would make the set look better. i can send pics to you if you wish. the top is reversible and both sides are clean and good. if anyone recognizes this designer i would like to know. the dimensions are- chairs-22 wide x 21 deep x 30 1/2 high back and table is 35 1/2 square by 28 1/2 high. the chairs have a bit wider seat than average. thanks for looking.

Its mainly the table top that needs a good oiling other than that everything else is in pretty great shape. The new owner may choose to refinish the set if they want it to be in mint condition but personally I love the wear on the set as its mininmal but still shows its original beauty. The chairs are marked JL MOLLER models made in denmark as shown and have original coverings which I believe are leather. Set is in very good condition with the exception of one chair that has a leg that has been repaired with a couple of screws and some glue. All other chairs are structurally VERY sound. Besides that. We are selling this amazing Vintage Danish Mid Century Teak Dining Room Table. It is in really nice shape and as you can see in the pictures a beautiful shine to it. It can be used in the Round(4ft in diameter) but also comes with two leafs that extend it up to 92 inches. We have 5 chairs that are all in great shape. The height of the table surface when expanded is 28" tall. Note brass spring loaded latches that keep the table closed when not expanded) The chairs are wonderfully crafted(cabinet maker quality) with rock solid joints and no breaks or repairs. The chairs have a sleek design and look incredible from all angles. The Teak and oak on the table and chairs have beautiful deep patinas from age with very little wear. A couple of the seats have some very light scratches from gentle use but overall show exceptionally well.
