RARE Vintage 1961 Leg-O-Matic Folding Chair Caning Lot of 2
Up for auction is a vintage rare lot of 2 1961 Leg O Matic Folding chairs. One chair has original yellow sticker marked Nov 15 1961 with instructions on how to open and close the chair. One caning has a rip as shown on far right top. Cover on each chair is a yellow white color that needs cleaning. There is a small tear on one chair. Both chairs open and close with ease. May need some grease in joints to make sure chair completely is secure in the joints when upright. Still sturdy and secure. There is fading and marks on both chairs. When closed measures about 19 x 17 x 6. Opened measures about 33” x 16” If you need more pictures or any questions please feel free to ask. Set of 4 1940's LEG-O-MATIC Folding Chairs w/ Hunter Green seats Great Condition
Hello and Welcome to this Auction! For bids. We offer this vintage set of Leg-O-Matic Folding Chairs. Descripition: These chairs are from the 1940's and were the mechanical wonder of thier day. The chairs stand 33 inches tall by 18 inches deep and 16 inches wide. They are made of hard wood and have a small plastic type material pad for a seat. The chairs have a release mechanism and fold up neatly into a 18 1/4 inches by 16 inches by 5 1/4 inches small square and are great for storage and stacking. The chairs have a hunter green seat of which one is practically new looking while the others have some age wear to them. All chair are in good working order with some expected wear on the wood components but nothing is broken/ cracked or damaged. A really nice vintage set. Up for auction is a vintage 60's era Rogers Swiv-o-matic swan leg hi-hat stand Model# 4402 with the rare one-piece foot board and can opener style foot board attachment. The stand is in good working condition and the action is nice and smooth. Both correct factory adjustment butterfly wing screws and the Rogers clutch work perfectly and hold tight. Chrome is above average with some wear as seen in the pictures. Foot board attachment piece has been nicely touched up. The foot board is super clean as seen. And the front spur loc and the spring tension adjustment screw on the underside are both in tact. New ru bber tips have been installed on the legs. Description: You are bidding on a set of(2) Leg-O-Matic wooden folding chairs. They have a nice dark finish on the wood. And come with cane backs. They have manufacturing stamps from April and July of 1968. The chairs stand ~34” tall. With the seat ~18” from the ground, and ~17” in width. They each fold down to a dimension of ~20 x 18 x 6” Condition: The chairs are in pretty good shape. With typical light scratches and dings to the wood here and there for the most part. There are also several areas of discoloration to the finish, on/near the legs. There are several“impressions” to the seat material, none of which has punctured the material. The cane is in great shape overall. With only a couple of minor dings. The cane seems a bit looser on the backs of the chairs than compared to the fronts, but it still looks very good overall. Vintage Leg-O-Matic Folding Chairs 1964 Set Of Four (4) - Wicker Back - Awesome!
As pictured. Up for auction is this unbelievable awesome set of four(4) Vintage Leg-O-Matic Folding Chairs. Chairs were manufactured by Lorraine Industries Inc. Wow. a blend of classic Mid Century Retro design. And unique, creative ingenuity, and that unmistakable"Made In America" quality! They have tight weave wicker backs. And upholstered seats. The labels on the botton of each of the chairs show a stamp dated January 1964. And other than some gentle wear over the years, it's almost like these chairs dropped out of a time machine. The wicker backs are nearly flawless with no visible breaks in the weave. The upholstered seats are absolutely beautiful with only two of the seats having a subtle discoloration or stain mark. However they were so light, I couldn't get them to photograph. the chairs are THAT good! The folding ... moremechanical mechanism on all four(4) chairs works perfectly, depressing the latch, allowing the chair to release/open/lock, and folding back up and re-locking in the closed position. One of the chairs base, the underside of the seat, has some splintering of the thin outside wood layer, however it's nothing to weaken the chair(pictured last) There are some rubs, scuffs and wear marks on the wood legs, but nothing to diminish the vintage beauty of these wonderful Mid Century period pieces. The chairs have natural and subtle variations in wood color as can be seen in the pictures. The chairs all have the yellow company label on their bottoms with"Jan 1964" stamped. however only 3 of the chairs have that"Do Not Remove Tag Under Penalty Of Law" tag. As for measurements, the chairs are 18" from the floor to the seat, the backs are 16" tall from the seat and approx 14 1/2" wide across the seat back. The upholstered seat is approx 16 3/4" wide across the front, and 15" in depth. One important thing to remember. Back in 1964, the average weight of an adult(I'm guessing) was approx 120 lb for women and approx 155 lb for men. Even as well

This vintage dining table and chairs were manufactured in May. 1964 and was originally sold by Ambercrombie. The storage cabinet for this expandable table houses the 6 dining leaves, a silverware drawer, a custom made padded top, and the support beam and accessories. The leaves extend the table out to 9'3" long. 8 dining chairs are included, that fold down for easy storage. The original manufacturer stickers are on the bottom of most chairs. The table top and leaves are in excellent condition. The cabinet and some of the chairs have some wear on them, since this was heavily used by a large family during holiday time. Open to International Bidders! This No Reserve auction. Is for a vintage 1960's model# 4401 Rogers Swiv-O-Matic Hi-Hat Stand. This stand has a two-piece hinged foot board. I believe that this is a later 60's version. With improvements to the heel assembly, the center"axle" and also to the overall construction of the tripod assembly. As you can see from my pictures. This stand looks great! This stand has lots of rusting and some pitting, it's integral strength is not compromised in any way. Stand needs to be cleaned and polished. The hi-hat unfolds smoothly and easily, and the upper tube telescopes effortlessly out of the bottom tripod housing. The individual locking collars will securely hold this stand at any desired height. This stand plays great! It has fast"direct pull" action. Lightweight yet sturdy design, ... moreand the whole stand folds up into a very small and compact package. All of the tightening collars work flawlessly, and every one of the wing screws match! This stand locks into any chosen height, and it is extremely sturdy. Tension can be adjusted by flipping the stand upside down, and using a standard drum key, you can easily change the overall feel and tension of this stand. Set of 4 Mid Century Leg O Matic Airstream Folding Wooden Chairs
Complete set of 4 Leg O Matic Airstream folding wood chairs Yellow floral vinyl upholstery in good condition All labels are attached and in good condition All function properly Offered for your consideration is a complete set of four Leg O Matic Airstream Trailer folding wood chairs. These chairs are of excellent quality made by the Bridgeport. Connecticut Company of Leg-o-Matic. They were first patented on August 16, 1933. The family company was established in the 1930's and went out of business in the late 1950's sometime after the death of its founder, John Kovats. These were offered as an option by Airstream dealers and would complete a fitting or restoration of an Airstream nicely. The wood is in original condition. Not refinished or painted. One chair has some damage to the wood on the back of the chair(pictures 3& 4 show ... moreclose-up of damage) The folding metal mechanisms. Show little wear and no rust and all work perfectly. The hinges could use some oil but I'll leave that up to the buyer as well. There's a tension bar that is pulled which releases a latch interconnected with a series of metal frames which then lock in place. Folding back up is done in reverse and only takes seconds. Each chair measures about 19 1/2" x 16 1/2" x 4 1/2" folded. And weigh about ten pounds each. The stain is a light blonde color(Ivory 102 per the label) which is less common than other colors. Also the chair back is made of wood unlike the less expense and more common rattan backed chairs. The labels. Still affixed to the bottom of each chair(see photo) show the style and color. RARE Vintage 1957 Leg-O-Matic Folding Table & 4 Chairs Set
The Leg-o-Matic Company was a pioneering producer of tables and chairs in the mid-1950's. Notable for its innovative folding mechanisms. The sets were often marketed for use in Airstream trailers and the like, since they can be compactly folded down when not in use. This set is stamped 9'57 on all 4 of the chairs. All chairs, in addition to the table, still sport the paper labels. I love the color combo of the honey wood combined with the black/cream vinyl. The set is in amazingly good condition, with a few issues to note. The wood, as shown in the photos, is naturally worn in spots, especially on the corners of the table. The top of the table has a few minor discolorations, although at certain angles, in combination with the print, they are virtually invisible. Three of the four chairs, while totally fine and functional at this point, ... moreare showing wear to the wood on the underside of the chair seats(see photo of chair label) I imagine this can be reinforced before it becomes a problem. The vinyl is in good shape, other than the minor discolorations.no rips, etc. My guess is the set hasn't been used in years. I bought it from an elderly woman who lived alone. The 2 chairs have partial labels from age but the other 2 chairs. The labels are still good as well as the labels on the table. The table is marked style 42 and the 2 chairs were marked style 95 the other 2 chairs were marked style J P. From the look of the chairs& table they all look very old and I would guess they are from the 50's. Just a guess. NO SHIPPING! LOCAL PICK UP! This thing weighs a ton so this will be local pick-up. I will work with you if you want to set something up where somebody picks it up but they will need to supply a pallet and shrink wrap plus will need a lift gate. Well you don't see this everyday. Rare rare rare. There are several nicks and scratches. Truth is this proabably needs to be refinished but WOW it would be awesome once done. I don't have the legs that go in the middle of the table. The wood is oak with the same color of wicker on the backing. The seat is a light beige in color and believe that it is a type of vinyl. The folding collapsible bars are all in good condition and works great. The measurement for the chair in standing position is as follows: 32" tall and 16" wide the seat is 16 1/2" wide at the front and 14" wide at the back. This is a pair of vintage mid-century Leg-o-Matic chairs. They are a medium brown with green and beige fabric. These fold all the way down so that they can be stored in small spaces. Great for small apartments to use as extra seating. There is only a small part of one tag left and I can see 1948 written on it. The folding mechanisms work well. There are surface scratches on the wood and one top side has some green paint on it(see the last picture) These measure 32" tall and 16" wide. When folded. They measure 18" x 16 1/2" x 5" high. Set of 4 Top Quality Leg-O-Matic Hardwood Folding Chairs Mid-Century Airstream This is a complete set of 4 high quality all hardwood folding Leg-o-Matic chairs that are in exceptional condition. And are easy to open and fold down smoothly for very compact storage. They have a beautiful finish with a great original shine and color. And other than some very minor scuffs, you'd be surprised they weren't bought new last year. The upholstery is a simple neutral egg shell vinyl covering with no scrapes. Tears, or holes. One has the complete original how-to-use instruction tag. Because these were produced before content tags were required, they only had one tag on it. You can see the tag that's remaining on the chair, in the pictures I took. The one-touch mechanisms are all metal. And all operate smoothly, as they should, and without ... moreany difficulty. These chairs were clearly treated with care throughout the years, and have none of the problem signs you usually see on furniture like this that's typically kept in moist basements or garages. Leg-o-Matic chairs began production in the 1940s til 1970s and became favorites for the Airstream trailer owners and city dwellers. Where space is always at a premium. When production ended. Demand was still high enough, that in the 1980's a company began manufacturing copies to satisfy the market. They are no longer produced today. Each seat is nicely sized and comfortable. The seat itself is 16 1/4 inches wide at the front. 14 1/4 inches deep, and 14 inches at the rear. The Chair back is 32 1/4 inches tall. And when placed against a wall, it measures 19 1/4 inches from the front of the seat to the wall. When folded. The chairs collapse down to a compact 19 inches by 16 1/4 inches by 6 1/4 inches, which makes them easy for storage.
