This is a wonderful Kitchen Dining Table with 4 Chairs in original condition. They were sourced from 2 different estates so the design of the table laminate does not match the design of the chair vinyl. BUT. They do look great together. Table has a wood track for an additional leafs however leaves are lost to time and not included. Perhaps a furniture maker or internet search could recreate the leaves. The 4 Chairs have vinyl upholstery in excellent condition and beautiful and best left as is. The vinyl is still supple and flexible. No need for a reupholster. There are imperfections here and there proper to their age and as part of their wear& tear. There are some minor aging imperfections on the top and legs of the Table. Quite an amazing find. Six very good nice solid Cherner chairs in good solid condition. You also get a great original matching Cherner table with extra leaf. Very rare table with wood laminate top. The chairs are impressive with and the vinyl is a nice grey. Two of the chairs still have their original Plycraft stickers. Two chairs have slight pop-out on the back of the plywood(pictured) One of those two has a taped leg as well. This is an original 1950's black and white formica and chrome dinette table set. Perfect for the retro chic lover. The table measures 47.5" long by 35.5" wide. It has 2 leaves. Each measuring 12 inches. The six vinyl chairs were bought new about 10 years ago and complement the table well. The table and chairs were used by my family for years. Therefore they have a few minor scrapes and bruises. The table has two small divots on the top(see photos) They are barely noticeable. Colourful kitchen sets or dinette sets in good condition are getting harder and harder to find. Once"White Elephant" items in any Antique shop. These treasures are now finding a captive audience of collectors who adore Retro style. Their bold colour and beautiful design will become a feature piece in any kitchen and a great conversation piece. This table is 4 feet long. 3 feet wide and 31 inches high allowing for plenty of space while eating with family or friends. The chairs have sturdy cushion to keep you comfortable. The table and chairs are in really good condition considering they are 50 +/ years old. There is some minor rust spots on the chair and table legs that could be polished. ... moreThe table top has a few scratches or marks from a hot item but because of the design pattern on the formica. They are not too noticeable. If you look at the close up photos you can see what I mean about it the scratches or marks being lost in the pattern. The table appears to have a lever for a leaf but the previous owner did not have it. As of now it sits four but I have been able to sit 8 by adding chairs. There is bound to be some wear due to its age and it being a frequently used piece but it is honestly one of the best pieces I have seen up for auction.
