This is a ROMWEBER Dining set that includes the Hutch 82" H x 62" W X bottom 19.5" D and top 15" D. The 2 glass shelves have a plate groove. The hutch is in 2 pcs. The bottom has 3 drawers and 2 push open doors(1 shelf in each door section) It is lighted. I believe it would be Queen Anne or French Provincial style. It is a light cream/yellowish color with hand painted floral. The matching table is 42" wide and 58" Wide without the 2 leaves. The leaves are 19" wide each. So the table extends to 96 when both are installed. The table top is beautiful. There are 6 chairs. They are all armed chairs. 2 of the chairs are original and are painted to match the hutch. 4 chairs were originally purchased unfinished and have been painted to match the rest of the set. A very expensive set my parents bought new and is in excellent condition considering it's 50+ years old; hasn't been used much from the mid-60's on. The wood is absolutely beautiful as you can see by the pictures. warm tones that truly enhance the room and create an inviting setting. The set consists of: round dining table with one leaf to make it rectangular; small credenza with shelf; large credenza with shelves. Silverware divider drawer, plate rack slots; four side chairs and two arm chairs. ... moreThe credenzas close with a magnetic push lock. The table and credenzas have always been covered by a 1/4" pane of clear glass to protect the wood surface. The chairs were professionally recovered in an antique off-white scroll pattern material a few years ago. All the pieces are in excellent condition with no significant damage; no repairs have ever been necessary. A nice eBay member contacted me to tell me that Kipp Stewart and Stuart MacDougall were the designers. Created in 1958. The set is solid walnut and the chairs are each gracefully hand-crafted with rosewood inlay. I did a little research on them and they were very well known artists and designers of the mid-century, modern, Eames-era movement. Since then I've found several ads for just the chairs at $5,000 and more. Apparently they're becoming harder to find, so take advantage of aquiring the entire set for half of what you'd pay in an antique store. I'm a huge fan of furniture of this period with its sleek lines and simple styling. This furniture is timeless- it looked beautiful in 1960 and will look so in 2060. The set comes with the table. 2 leafs and pads to cover all. The table measures 64.5" length x 42.25" width at center. The height to the skirt is 25.25" The Chippendale style legs have an applied fan carved motif at the corners and end with pad feet. Each leaf is skirted and measures 20" width. The set comes with two arm chairs. They stand 43 3/8" to the top center back. The width at the front of the seat is 19.5" and the width at the back of the seat is 16.5" The seat height is 19" The width across the arms is 21.5" from the outside edges and from the inside edges it is 18. from arm to arm. For auction I have a beautiful 1965 Thomasville 38" without leafs) round dining room table and 6 padded chairs. There are 2 additional leafs that are still in their boxes. The 6 padded chairs are cream colored with a branch cream and tan print. The backs are rattan and are nice and high. The chair tops do show some wear areas from pulling out and can be seen in photos. CUTE Table& Chairs perfect for a window display. I do not know the age of this piece. But by looking at the hardware I'm going to say mid-century somewhere like that. The table is stamped patent applied for. Solid wood legs& fiber board tops on both the table and chairs. The table legs fold easily and so do the chairs. Original paint. Original look.
