1950's Mid Century Formica Table Aluminum Chairs Avocado Diner Set Chrome
Original 1950's formica and aluminum diner set. A classic blonde wood grain aluminum table top with an aluminum or chrome surround rests on a heavy black painted iron pedestal. There is a"Formica Insulation Co. mark on the underside of the table. Two heavy aluminum alloy chairs with avocado colored vinyl back rests. Simple. Space-age lines highlight this stylish set. Overall. The set is in very good condition. There is some light wear to the table top and to the metal parts, noticeably around the feet of the chairs. We are pleased to offer this great mid century dinette set. This chrome set has a cracked ice formica table top and the chairs have white vinyl upholstery. The table has rounded corners and a 12" pull out leaf that has a wire storage rack under the table. It measures 47" long when closed and open with the leaf it is 59" It has a height of 27" to the skirt and 30" to the top. The width at the center seam is 29 5/8" The chairs have a white vinyl upholstery. The chairs were re-upholstered at some point. There are no rips/tears or stains on the chairs. Here is a retro vintage red cracked ice formica chrome kitchen dining table with 4 chairs. It's is pretty good shape for its age. I have cleaned the chrome and it is bright and shines will need to be done again as I can't keep this in the house along with the other sets I also have up for auction. Up under the table where the legs attach to the table there is some rust but could be sanded down with steel wool. There is no leaf. Two of the 4 chairs have a tear in the seats. One is one inch long and the other is about 4" You can buy vinyl repair kits especially made for this or have them all reupholstered. Vintage 1950s Formica & Chrome Kitchen Table & Chairs Los Angeles
At auction is a beautiful 1956 Formica& Chrome Kitchen Table& Chairs set. Everybody had one of these! Pretty much the American Standard for Kitchens after the war. The table is 55 inches long with leaf in and 45 inches when removed. Table is 32 inches wide and 18 inches high. Chair seats are 15 X 16 inches wide and 18 inches high. The leaf on this table folds up and hides under the table. Have not seen another table do this! The color of the table top is a standard cracked ice yellow. You can buy this cracked Ice fabric color as well to put on the chairs. Cracked Ice was very popular in the 50′s and 60′s. Cracked Ice Vinyl was especially popular in diners and roadside cafes. Adorable red"crackle/ice" formica and chrome table made just for a child. How cute and practical would this be in a retro kitchen. If my grandsons were just a little younger I would never let this go but it's to hard to get a 12 yr old to sit there. The table features the classic chrome sides and base with a green formica table top w/ leaf. The top also features two silhouettes from acclaimed artist Ugo Mochi on each side. The table also comes with 4 chairs. Each chair features chrome legs with vinyl covered seat and back. The artist for the tabletop is Ugo Mochi. He was a highly acclaimed Italian silhouette artist. His illustrations adorned the pages of Women’s Home Companion. Collier’s, and American. He sold works to the Duke and Duchess of York, Windsor Castle, and ex-King Manuel of Portugal. Mochi is represented in public and private collections including The Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York and the Berlin Museum of Natural History. This is a vintage 1950s chrome kitchen table with formica top. Included are 6 chairs with flower design cushions. The chairs are not the original chairs that came with the table; they are from around 1970. There is also an extension piece for the table that is 11 3/4 inches wide. The table is about 47 inches x 35 3/4 inches. The table and chairs are in overall good condition. There are some rust spots on the chrome. The table has a small ping on one of the long sides. One chair has a small tear on the back that is not that noticeable. The table is missing a metal cap on the bottom of one leg; the chairs have all their plastic caps but some have splits and could be replaced. Offering free pickup only.

This is a vintage mid century chrome and formica table. It is about 46 X 30 inches and has a 12 inch leaf. It looks to be made by MESCO and is in nice condition. There are a couple of very small spots on the top that could most likely be remove. I have not cleaned or altered the table in any way. Its all original. This retro vintage table from the 50s or early 60s is in very good vintage condition. The legs have a few very small nicks but no damage or nothing that will affect the structure. The top Formica laminate top shows no imperfections that I can see. It is in blue robin egg teal shades with grey veining and has the typical swirled and marble design of that era. The edge is a chrome finish attached well with screws and also in excellent vintagcondition. The four wooden legs are danish style and have new caps on the bottom. The table is very sturdy and will be great for a kitchen corner or small apartment or any other place in your home. It is a standard height of apx 29 1/4" tall and the top is apx 29 3/4" by 20 1/4" The bracket that holds the legs has two holes that you can adjust the angle of the legs. Ultra-cute Fifties Chrome Kitchen Table with Formica Top, TEAPOT decorations!
This cool table has a leaf underneath that adds about another foot to the length. Which is 48 inches as shown(30 wide and 29 high) The top, with that irresistible teapot decoration and color combination, is in very good condition, with the usual minor scratching that comes with its age. The chrome is in so-so condition, with some pitting and such, but to my mind that never was a problem, I loved the overall spirit of the table so much(not to mention the shape, with its rounded corners and dynamite chrome underpinings! Vintage Chrome Midcentury Red Modern Formica Kitchen Table Dinette
Really neat vintage kitchen table. In good shape. But doesn't have the leaf. Just so we're on the same page, this is a vintage table from back in the day. There is some very slight rust on the bottom of the legs, could be polished out. No major rust or other problems. Table would be great in a kitchen or as a craft table. Table measures 42 inch by 30 inch by 30.5 inch tall. I will throw in four(similar color. But NON-matching) chairs to the buyer. Second picture shows two of the chairs, but you will receive all four. Vintage 50's Diner Style Red Formica Chrome Table w/Chairs 1940-50's
Cute set needing a lot of tlc! Small red formica table with chrome legs and slide out extensions with small drawer. 4 red chairs with chrome legs. The table shows fading on the top. The extensions should pull out easily and come up even with the table but do not. It's a bit wobbly and has rusting on the chrome legs with one leg having a hole from the rust and being stored in a cellar. The chairs are in better condition but would benefit from a change of fabric, clean up of chrome and one of the chairs has a huge hole from in the leg from rust. We have an extra chair that is included to use to replace the rusted hole in leg chair(not pictured) It's a cute small set that would look it's best once restored!

1950s Retro/Vintage Yellow Formica and Chrome Kitchen Table with 4 Vinyl Chairs
This is an original 1950's Formica and Chrome tables with Vinyl covered chairs. This vintage style is gaining in popularity and also in value. Colourful kitchen sets or dinette sets in good condition are getting harder and harder to find. Once"White Elephant" items in any Antique shop. These treasures are now finding a captive audience of collectors who adore Retro style. Their bold colour and beautiful design will become a feature piece in any kitchen and a great conversation piece. This table is 4 feet long. 3 feet wide and 31 inches high allowing for plenty of space while eating with family or friends. The chairs have sturdy cushion to keep you comfortable. The table and chairs are in really good condition considering they are 50 +/ years old. There is some minor rust spots on the chair and table legs that could be polished. ... moreThe table top has a few scratches or marks from a hot item but because of the design pattern on the formica. They are not too noticeable. If you look at the close up photos you can see what I mean about it the scratches or marks being lost in the pattern. The table appears to have a lever for a leaf but the previous owner did not have it. As of now it sits four but I have been able to sit 8 by adding chairs. There is bound to be some wear due to its age and it being a frequently used piece but it is honestly one of the best pieces I have seen up for auction. I am willing to arrange a viewing before auction ends though I am only available early morning or after 7pm on weekdays.
