They may have been reupholstered at some point. The metal is a bit worn and discolored with a little rust, but we have not made any restoration or cleaning attempts. The metal on the table is similarly worn. The formica top is grey"cracked ice" but the expansion leaf has a slight carmel color. We do not know the orginal color between the two. We are pleased to offer this great mid century dinette set. This chrome set has a cracked ice formica table top and the chairs have white vinyl upholstery. The table has rounded corners and a 12" pull out leaf that has a wire storage rack under the table. It measures 47" long when closed and open with the leaf it is 59" It has a height of 27" to the skirt and 30" to the top. The width at the center seam is 29 5/8" The chairs have a white vinyl upholstery. The chairs were re-upholstered at some point. There are no rips/tears or stains on the chairs. They measure as follows: back height = 32 7/8" back width = 16.5" seat height = 19" seat width = 15" seat depth = 15.5" The table has all the feet. Aqua and Gold. Mid Century dinette set for the kitchen or dining room, includes six chairs, table and extension leaf. Table is white formica with gold speckles throughout and a pattern of aqua and gold diamonds running in two parallel rows along the length of the table. Table measures approx. 3' wide and 4' long and is extendable to 5' long with the included 1' leaf. Table height is 30" Leaf is in the same pattern. But has a slightly whiter background due less usage(see photo) Metal table legs are painted gold to match the formica pattern. Chairs have vinyl seats and backs on metal frames which are painted the same gold as the table legs. Vinyl seats are in fair condition. With some yellowing and discolored areas. The set consist of table with one leaf and 4 side chairs as shown in the photos. The set is in good original condition. The chairs are tight and the table is tight as well. All yellow Formica is complete showing very little wear. The yellow and white vinyl is all original and is in good condition as well. See photos of damaged areas on the vinyl chairs. Vntg Mid-Century Modern Dinette Set - Drop-leaf Formica Table & 4 Chairs Compact
This is a fabulous. Sleek, vintage formica and chrome dinette set from the 1940's or 50's in incredible condition from an estate. Most of the furniture from this estate is from the 1940's and is in unbelievable condition. It has all been impeccably maintained. This dinette set is clean with no notable flaws. There are some pinpoint spots on the chrome and some minor surface discoloration in some places on the chrome. But I have not done anything to it. I am selling as I found it which is in fabulous condition! This set is so versatile. It is a drop leaf gate leg table. All hinges and movable parts move easily and are in great condition. The table measures 30" wide. The length is determined by how many of the leafs you have up. If you drop both leafs the table measures 18-1/2" long. One leaf up measures 32-3/8" and ... moreif you have both leafs up it is 46-1/8" long. 28-3/16" tall. The chairs appear to have the original upholstery and are in excellent condition with no flaws noted. As shown in photos. One chair has an indentation from where the other chair has been stacked on top of it, but the upholstery is not damaged. You can see the indentation in the photos. Chairs measure: Seat 15" wide x 18" high x 17" deep x 31" tall. The chairs can be stacked as shown in photo. This set would be so great in an apartment or anywhere space is limited. Retro 1950s 50s Mid Century Kitchen Dinette Set Formica Table w leaf & 4 Chairs
I have up for sale a fabulous 1950s Dinette Set. The table was made by WALTER OF WABASH. Comes with one extension leaf and has a faux wood grain formica top. The chairs were made by Kay-Mar Industries Inc- Cassopolis, Michigan. I purchased the set direct from the original owner who told me, her and her husband purchased the set sometime in the 50s. The table has unusual legs that have a weaved pattern at the top corner section. The legs are copper colored steel with a brass toned metal weaving pattern on the corner sections. The top is is superb condition- it has a faux wood grain formica top and one matching leaf. The table minus the leaf measures approx 47" long by 35-1/2" wide. The leaf is approx 11-1/2" wide- 35-1/2" long. The table is in great shape- no damages and any wear is modest. The chairs are in excellent condition! ... moreI would say that they are slightly smaller than normal sized chairs- sturdy but not necessarily for a real large person in my opinion. The stand 31" tall. The backs approx 16-1/4" across. The seats are approx 15-1/2" wode- 14-1/4" deep and from the ground to the top of the seat is approx 17-1/2" I am not sure of the material of the seats but something on the order of vinyl. No rips,No tears nor any punctures to the seats. Some very modest light wear but overall excellent shape. I am calling this a set but the chairs were not made by the same company as the table. The chairs were made by Kaymar Industries Inc and the table by Walter of Wabash. The old gal that I purchased this from took fantastic care of everything see owned. And overall the set is in superb shape for its age. Any wear is very minor. You will not be disappointed. I will not ship the item myself. If you want to arrange a shipper to pick it up from me that is fine, but I would want payment directly after the sale and you can take care of the shipping on your end. Mid Century Modern Kitchen Dinette Table Danish Legs Chrome Edge Formica Top EVC
This retro vintage table from the 50s or early 60s is in very good vintage condition. The legs have a few very small nicks but no damage or nothing that will affect the structure. The top Formica laminate top shows no imperfections that I can see. It is in blue robin egg teal shades with grey veining and has the typical swirled and marble design of that era. The edge is a chrome finish attached well with screws and also in excellent vintagcondition. The four wooden legs are danish style and have new caps on the bottom. The table is very sturdy and will be great for a kitchen corner or small apartment or any other place in your home. It is a standard height of apx 29 1/4" tall and the top is apx 29 3/4" by 20 1/4" The bracket that holds the legs has two holes that you can adjust the angle of the legs. Really nice Formica table set with a cool design. Table measures 47 1/2" long and 36" wide. It also has a leaf which will add another 11 1/2" to the length. Chair vinyl looks good but could use a good cleaning. I didn't notice a couple of tiny holes in the vinyl. There is some rust spots but nothing major. Some of the chairs are missing their tips. Vtg 1950's 5 Pc. Chrome Dinette Set - Formica Top w/Fold out Leaf - Vinyl Chairs
This 1950's 5 Piece Chrome Dinette Set includes Formica Top Table with Fold Out/Pop Up Leaf and 4 Vinyl Covered Chairs Top of table is in good condition with signs of wear around metal edges and a damage spot that appears to be from a power tool( The fold out leaf has a pull wire that needs mended or replaced for ease of releasing extension. You will simply pull the wire, pull table apart and unfold the leaf for extra seating space with no worries about where to store the leaf. Table legs are n good condition. Just in need of some paint. Measurements: 29.5" Tall. 53" Long. 36" Wide. 17 3/4" Extention. The 4 Chairs are in good condition for it's age. All have original vinyl with a few cracks on a couple of chairs. 2 Pic)chair has a larger crack in the seat. All legs could use paint and one leg has a duct tape bandage ... moreat the foot and needs repairs. All need cleaned. I will be happy to(try) to answer any question you have. Just message!
