This dining set is marked Black Harvest Loiusville Chair Company 1960. I have seen several of these dining sets from the 50's and 60's but none in as good condition as this one. There are no tears in the seats or scratches on the table. One seat has some yellowing on it as you can see in the picture. Otherwise the set is in excellent condition. This auction is for a very nice complete 1950's retro Dinette set made by Huron Chrome Products out of Indiana. Table is very nice and table top is without scratches. Chrome table legs and chair legs do have that small surface rust starting but should rub up and polish pretty nice. The 2 leaves for the table are very nice and are without scratches as well, all dow pins are in tack. Chrome trim around table is nice as well. 4 out of the 6 chairs are in very very nice shape no rips tears or holes. The other 2 chairs look as though they have been used as painting stools as there is paint splatter and some white paint marks on them. All chairs have no rips, tears, holes or missing pins and all have the nice retro chrome decoration on top. Widdicomb MCM Mid Century Modern Danish Vintage Retro Dining Set Table Chairs

John Widdecomb's purchased the Widdicomb Co. in 1974 and this set is from that era. Beautiful in it's simplicity, it would work perfectly in any home for it would compliment all styles of design. The table is round. W/o extensions it measures 48 inches in diameter and its height is 29 1/4 inches. Each of the 3 extensions measures 48 inches long and 16 inches wide making the table 96 inches in length when all extensions are used. Chairs are 32 inches high. Floor to seat is 19 inches. Seat depth 16 1/2 inches. Width 18 inches. The table top will definitely need to be refinished. Sometime in it's past. The original finish was removed ... moreon top of the table. It has spots and color fading. The rest of the table and the 4 chairs has the original finish on them. Along with the expected wear, scuff marks and some finish loss is noted on some of the chairs and table legs/sides. Some veneer is missing in some areas. The chairs have been recovered at least once and a previous covering seems to be in place under the current one. One of the extensions has drip marks on the underside which may indicate that this extension has been refinished in the past. When placed in the table, the color and finish match everything on the set BUT the top of the table. All of the extensions are stamped with the same number. These pieces will be sold as is. Like many of you. I'm an AVID collector and have been for many years. ANYTHING Mid-century Modern, Danish Modern, Bauhaus, The Arts aka Nouveau, Deco, Moderne-WANT IT! RETRO MID CENTURY WROUGHT IRON KITCHEN DINING SET PINK & BLACK
This is a vintage retro Mid Century black wrought iron& pink kitchen/ dining table& chairs set. the top of the table and the leaves are a whitish/ pink marbled design. The table is approx. 36" in diameter. And each leaf is 11.5" across, adding an additional 23" to the table. Once the leaves are in place the table is approx. 59" long. The chairs show what I think is minor wear. By that I mean they have a small amount of pinholes. I did show one chair that seems the worst(up close) The rest are much better. The table also has 2 cracks on the seams in the formica, but nothing big. This is a sweet and adorable vintage set. RELISTED DUE TO NON PaYING BIDDER.

1952 Retro Howell Co. Steel & Tubular Chrome Dining Set
This is a 1952 Howell Co. dinning set made in St Charles. Illinois USA. It is made of steel and tubular chrome and painted the original bright yellow. There is NO corrosion or rust. The table measures 30" wide by 42" long with one 12" leaf. It was in excellent condition until recently when some cleaning products were set on it and they leaked and bleached some spots on the top. Mom always kept a flannel backed tablecloth on it. The 4 chairs do have chipped paint from normal wear and tear. This is over 60 years old. This is a very sturdy set that just needs a new coat of paint. This set has been in our family for over 50 years.
