I was unable to locate any manufacture or date on the furniture other than on the bottom of the chairs which most likely was a re-upholster tag. Although considered common furniture in the 1920s-30s it is an excellent example of detail and craftsmanship. This type of furniture was made by many different manufacturers and sold by many different stores; so finding an exact manufacturer might not be possible. The more common furniture usually was not stamped by any manufacturer. Possibly made from bass wood or common wood. Would like to sell as a group. This is a ROMWEBER Dining set that includes the Hutch 82" H x 62" W X bottom 19.5" D and top 15" D. The 2 glass shelves have a plate groove. The hutch is in 2 pcs. The bottom has 3 drawers and 2 push open doors(1 shelf in each door section) It is lighted. I believe it would be Queen Anne or French Provincial style. It is a light cream/yellowish color with hand painted floral. The matching table is 42" wide and 58" Wide without the 2 leaves. The leaves are 19" wide each. So the table extends to 96 when both are installed. The table top is beautiful. There are 6 chairs. They are all armed chairs. 2 of the chairs are original and are painted to match the hutch. 4 chairs were originally purchased unfinished and have been painted to match the rest of the set. For your consideration is this Heywood Wakefield drop leaf table and 6 chairs. It is their M197G table with 2 leaves and a set of 6 dog bone chairs. 4 M154A side chairs and 2 M154C arm chairs all in champagne finish. This set is barn fresh and retains what is left of a dry, worn dirty finish. One of the chairs is broken between the seat frame and the backrest. It is a clean break that follows the grain of the wood and should not be a big deal to repair. There are of course a couple loose table legs as well which is not necessarily unusual to this model. Look at the photos carefully, what's left of the finish is dry, dirty and worn. That being said with a little sweat equity it would finish up nicely. Unique Mid Century Dinette with 2 leaves
We are downsizing and sadly need to move a few of our favorite items out the door. This honey colored dinette set with new upholstery was purchased for a small apartment then we kept it as a breakfast table in our home. The color fits every decor. The lines are elegant and very unique(so unique I've never been able to identify the maker) The age says mid century. The chair lines nod to art nouveau(also notice the brass feet caps on the table) Broad bottomed seats that fit perfectly under the table. Very good design. I've always felt I have a real gem with this set and should have paid more. Buy Now is at purchase price although it is in better condition with new upholstery! Bonuses: 1. Although the table seems perfect as a round, it extends to accept two leaves. The two leaves are included and appear in the photographs. Dining Set: Drop Leaf Table with Two Leaves and Six Matching Chairs. All made from Hardwood. Appears to be Birch. Table: 96" 84" or 72" long by 42" wide. The varying lengths are achieved by adding or removing leaves. Some pictures are shown without the leaves added. One or both wings of the table can also be folded so the table is as little as 28" long by 42" wide. The makes for easy storage or great flexibility in how large a table you need at any given time. The table is in Excellent condition. But the set been refinished. The chairs have soft seats and backs. The chairs are very comfortable. There are 2 Captain’s chairs and 4 regular chairs. The front of the seats of the captain's chairs is 23.5" across. There is 19.5" between the front of the armrests. The seats of the small chairs are 18.5" ... morewide at the front and 17" wide at the narrowest point. The chairs are in excellent shape except for the following. One rung is loose on one chair. Easily fixed. There is one flaw on one of the cushions. You can see it in the last picture. The flaw is not discolored so it is not especially noticeable, and it is not torn so it is completely functional. The set was built in the 1950s. I do not know the maker. Intricate wooden carving detail Very nice table and the part I love the most is the ease of transferring the leaves in and out It is unique to any table I have ever had in that it"rolls" out on a track to add or remove the leaves. You unlock it by pulling a thin wire hidden underneath the table and then as you being to pull the table apart it literally unrolls itself. I can do it all myself and I am not a very strong lady!
