This furniture is circa 1920. Jacobean or Tudor style. Not really considered antique(100 yrs) It is more commonly called vintage, though I have seen it called antique vintage to attract a wider audience. I was unable to locate any manufacture or date on the furniture other than on the bottom of the chairs which most likely was a re-upholster tag. Although considered common furniture in the 1920s-30s it is an excellent example of detail and craftsmanship. This type of furniture was made by many different manufacturers and sold by many different stores; so finding an exact manufacturer might not be possible. The more common furniture usually was not stamped by any manufacturer. Possibly made from bass wood or common wood. Would like to sell as a group. The set consists of: A massive 3 piece breakfront; A double pedestal oval dining table with 3 skirted leaves stored in their original rack; A matched set of 6 side chairs with wrapped upholstered seats with gilt highlights; A 2 door. With 6 drawers server/ credenza Being approximately 70 + years old. There are some extremely minor marks of light wear, expected to be found on an older set of used, vintage furniture. Overall, the condition, in our opinion, is EXCELLENT! The tops are clean& the finish is original. The upholstery on the chairs is good, with very few marks or wear. The entire set is composed of solid woods& burl European walnut matched veneers. The finish is original& the case pieces are accented by painted black line inlays on the edges. Which create a wonderful, dark contrast to the richness& depth of color of the medium to light colored European walnut veneers. The style of the entire suite is in the form of English Regency, and the finish is reminiscent of German Beidemeier furniture. The original hardware is solid brass. I have noted in my description of condition above that one of the rush bottom seats on this set is broken through, and simply replaced at present with a wood board underneath the seat cushion. I have taken this into account and am selling these chairs"as is" for a great price for someone looking to invest a little love into bringing them back to their full glory by replacing the seat(s) These side dining chairs stand 37 1/2 inches tall and measure 17 1/2 inches wide by 17 inches front to back.
