The chairs have beautiful detailing. Cane backs, and upholstered seats. The fabric has hues of cream, blue, green, and mauve. We believe they are made of solid walnut– with a beautiful stain. Quality craftsmanship through and through– very solid and study. The table is an octagon shape with great detailing on the legs and base. Table opens to fit one 18” leaf– custom pads can be used to protect the top. CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition with normal wear due to age and use. Only minor marks on wood from use. Tabletop is in excellent condition with minor scratches and some minor marks along edge. Upholstery is slightly worn in places but there are no holes or tears/rips. We had planned on recovering them before we decided not to keep them. The chairs have"L" brackets added to the underside of each chair to give the seat portion more support. The wooden dowels that cover the screw holes on the sides of the chairs were glued in. When I took these chairs apart to get them ready for shipping, I cleaned the glue off of everything and added a double sided tape to hold the dowels in place when they are re-assembled. There is no identification as to the maker but based on similar chair examples we have seen we believe it was made by Kalp-Sons. Santa Fe, Ca. The table has a harvest gold Formica top with rattan and cane edging and a rattan base. The rattan frame chairs have cane backs with cloth fabric seats having a butterflies print. Measurements: Table Height: 28” Table Top without Leaf: 43” x 55” Table Top with Leaf: 43” x 73” Table Leaf: 18” wide Chair Seat Height: 17” Chair Overall Height: 35” Seat Diameter: 18” Condition: As is typical of vintage and antique furniture. The set is not perfect. The finish shows some wear, understandable for a 40 +/ year old piece of ... morefurniture but considering its age it is still in decent shape. The caning on the back of one chair has been replaced and though it was a decent job. It is noticeable and not quite the same as the factory job. The cushions have been reupholstered with a butterfly print cloth and the seats are all in very good condition. A few screws have been added randomly to the bases of the chairs for tightening and strengthening and they are structurally solid. The base of the table is structurally solid and in very good condition. The original Formica top shows minor wear and is in very good condition. A nice feature of the table is the ease of installing and removing the leaf with the patented mechanism making it so only one person can easily do the job in seconds. The set shows a little wear from its intended use but certainly is presentable and displays nicely. Overall condition is very good and it will give many more years of service. danish modern,teak,dining set,selig,designer table and very rare chairs
this is a fine quality designer dining set made in denmark and imported by selig. these chairs seem to be very rare and obscure. it is certainly comparable to wegner.Juhl,hvidt etc. the table and chairs are the same designer. they all have the indented dimple at the top of the legs. the whole set is in very good to excellent all original condition. a couple of chairs did have the back re-glued and it should be re-done. it was not done professionally. while not too bad it would make the set look better. i can send pics to you if you wish. the top is reversible and both sides are clean and good. if anyone recognizes this designer i would like to know. the dimensions are- chairs-22 wide x 21 deep x 30 1/2 high back and table is 35 1/2 square by 28 1/2 high. the chairs have a bit wider seat than average. thanks for looking.

Everything seems perfect with a couple small light scratches on table top, the chairs appear never used. This awesome set was made by the Stakmore Company. The table has the mid century/Danish style legs and a laminate top with three leaves and two drop down sides, the table measures only 27" when fully collapsed and 94" long when leaves and aprons are used. The width of the table is 41 1/2" wide. Now the REALLY COOL part. New York, circa 1950. This set is beautifully crafted, comfortable and elegant. Solid oak and it has a nice golden-red color. This set has never been refinished and, except for cleaning, we left it just as we found it. Note the 3-part"tree trunk" table legs with brass capped feet, which were a Van der Molen signature detail. The chairs have long, curved arms and curved backs. The solid wood in each chair back is individually fitted together by hand, so while the shape of the set is perfectly uniform, each chair was laminated differently. Mid Century Modern Fancher Furniture Dining Room Set
This is a very nice dining room set with only a few minor scratches and dings. It is very solid and well made by the Fancher Furniture Company in Salamanca. NY. The table is 66" L x 44" W, and has two leafs that are 17" each. The table pad is all there, but the seams are in need of repairs. There are 6 upholstered chairs in great shape with no tears, rips, or unraveling. There are a few very minor spots that I have not tried to clean. The side buffet is on wheels and is 18 1/2" W x 43 1/2" L plus has a 10 1/2" side wing. There is a ceramic tile for anything hot. The hutch is beautiful with sliding glass doors, a center flatware drawer, 2 lower drawers, and a large lower area to the left. The lower base measures 641/2" L x 20"W x 31"H. This is a complete dining room set including 6 chairs. The chair seats are all original material as is the complete set and as close to flawless as is possible. This set was used for show when originally purchased and over the years since then has been covered and forgotten. Not sure how to get the pictures on as I am so so when using a computer. For auction is one beautiful and rare dining table and chair set designed by Vico Magistretti for Artemide in 1969. The chairs are the"Selene" model and the table is the matching"Stadio 80- ARA" model. T he Selene chair was the first monobloc chair made from just a single. Injection-molded piece of 3 mm thick fiberglass-reinforced polyester. A stunning and historically significant design that paved the way in high-end molded plastic furniture manufacturing. The Selene chair is included in the permanent design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The Vitra Museum, and other leading museums around the world. The Selene chair was also shown at the 1972 exhibition“Italy: the New Domestic Landscape” at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. This set is in very good vintage condition. The red ABS plastic top is ... morein great overall condition but for a couple of noticeable cracks; one in one corner above the leg. And another right in the middle on one side(both pictured) The table is quite structurally sound despite them, however. There is also one large, straight scratch on the tabletop in one corner that's about 5" long(also pictured) The legs are a slightly different shade of red than the top, and I'm unsure if this is original to its manufacture or if the legs have lightened somewhat from sunlight. Early ABS plastic furniture is known to be susceptible to UV ray discoloration; white and lighter plastics tend to yellow and darken, and darker plastics can lighten or fade. As you can see from the photos, however, the difference in color is not significant enough to detract from the overall appearance. The table measures 32" square by 28" tall. The chairs are all in excellent shape but do have minor scratches and light scuffs common to decades of use. Vintage Chromcraft Dining Set Table 4 Chairs Mid-Century Modern Dinette 60's/70
These are available for pick up here ONLY. No shipping. If you don't have anything big enough to haul them in I will deliver within 100 miles for a fee of $150. If I have toll roads it will be more. If you are closer I can do it for less. You get 4 chairs with the table that went with them. Chairs are signed Chromcraft Decorables Selection 1967. seat height is 18" in front and sort of angles down in the back so you set comfortably. Back height is 34 1/2" Seat is 18 1/2" wide by 17 1/2" deep. Bases are cast aluminum and polished and are 17 1/4" across the closest points 23 3/4" across the far ends. They roll and swivel nicely. Seat height without the rollers is 15" Center shaft from the base to the bottom of the chair is chrome plated steel. One of the chairs is missing 3 of the inserts that hold the ... morewheels in. I just put some electrical tape on them and they stay in place ok. Another of the chairs has a hole drilled in each foot where they had a screw installed to hold the rollers in place. They put too small an insert into them and it wouldn't hold the wheels in properly. Also on the others I had to shim the rollers with electrical tape as the inserts are worn. A few rollers stay like they should but not many. If you wanted to fix them properly you can find correct inserts in hardware stores/home centers. You find these chairs with a vinyl covering quite often but seldom with cloth. Cloth looks good with no holes or tears or stains. You can partially see the seam on one of them along the side edge if you pull the back upholstery back. You cannot see it unless you do pull the side back. Table without the extra leaf is 30" tall by 41 1/4" round. Leaf is 17 5/8" wide making the size together 41 1/4" by almost 59" It is a formica like wood grain veneer. We aren't very knowledgeable about shipping this kind of thing. So this is offered for pick up only at our warehouse in Anaheim. Very original 1960's set in very presentable condition. Could probably use a bit more cleaning than we gave them. But certainly still very attractive. Removed from the estate of the original 1960's purchaser just last week. As you can see. These look pretty good. The frames are strong and tight. If you are familiar with this type of chair, you'll know this is the type with the back that slightly swivels up and down to fit your back as you sit. and that's a nice feature. All are intact and look great. Not to say ... morethis set is perfect. If these were mine to keep. I would reweb the support webbing on the underside of the removable seat cushions. the original turquoise fabric upholstery is great but the support webbing on the underside is aged and needs replacing. This is a simple job that any upholstery shop could handle easily for a reasonable fee. just drop off the cushions and let them change the webbing. The wood looks very nice on every chair and I found no signs of previous repairs. you know. Wood splits or glue marks. nothing like that here. Not looking to break up the set. Mid Century Danish Modern Svegards Markaryd Teak Dining Set Table + 6 Chairs
Set is in very good condition with the exception of one chair that has a leg that has been repaired with a couple of screws and some glue as pictured. All other chairs are structurally VERY sound. Besides that. There is a couple of very small 1/4" holes in the original tweed fabric on two of the chairs and just normal wear to the tabletop from use that would be commensurate with age. The other four chairs are free of holes and their upholstery is pretty much perfect w/ very little visible soiling. Chairs are signed by manufacturer and from my research I am pretty sure that the table is made by Svegards Markaryd as well. Mid Century Modern Romweber Autumn Mahogany Dining Room Set - Dated 1958
Romweber Furniture. I shouldn't have to say anything else. But I will. Romweber Furniture is known to make quality furniture. The craftsmanship is excellent. They started making high end furniture to sell to the wealthy during the depression. Dining room sets like this one don't come on the market very often. They usually are passed down from generation to generation. This matching set came out of an estate in Chicago, IL. where it spent it's entire life in the same home. The set is dated July 18, 1958. It was sold originally at Frankel Furniture Co. in Chicago, IL. The color is autumn mahogany. The family who owned this set for 56 years took wonderful care of it. I'm sure if this set could talk it would tell you about a lot of good meals and memories around this table. I'm sure it will go to a wonderful family who will ... moremake new memories and be passed down to the next generation. This gorgeous set consist of a Breakfront. A Buffet, a Table with four(4) Leaves(all with aprons/skirts) and six(6) Chairs(2 arm& 4 side) The set is in original condition. There is a little wear here and there but nothing outstanding that you wouldn't expect from age. We have put new padding and upholstery on the chairs. The chairs are all tight. The breakfront, buffet and table are all sturdy. We have the glass top that goes on the buffet if you want it. A little about the set: The chairs have acanthus leaf carvings on top of the backs. The new upholstery we put on the chairs really compliments the set. The pedestals have beautiful carvings. The table and leaves have elegant burled banding around the edge on top and Greek banding around the outside edge. The buffet and breakfront also have the Greek banding around the outside edge. The table is 10' 4" long with all the leaves. The large drawer in the buffet is a felt lined silverware drawer. I love the columns on the buffet. Notice the bubble glass doors on the breakfront.
