There is no identification as to the maker but based on similar chair examples we have seen we believe it was made by Kalp-Sons. Santa Fe, Ca. The table has a harvest gold Formica top with rattan and cane edging and a rattan base. The rattan frame chairs have cane backs with cloth fabric seats having a butterflies print. Measurements: Table Height: 28” Table Top without Leaf: 43” x 55” Table Top with Leaf: 43” x 73” Table Leaf: 18” wide Chair Seat Height: 17” Chair Overall Height: 35” Seat Diameter: 18” Condition: As is typical of vintage and antique furniture. The set is not perfect. The finish shows some wear, understandable for a 40 +/ year old piece of ... morefurniture but considering its age it is still in decent shape. The caning on the back of one chair has been replaced and though it was a decent job. It is noticeable and not quite the same as the factory job. The cushions have been reupholstered with a butterfly print cloth and the seats are all in very good condition. A few screws have been added randomly to the bases of the chairs for tightening and strengthening and they are structurally solid. The base of the table is structurally solid and in very good condition. The original Formica top shows minor wear and is in very good condition. A nice feature of the table is the ease of installing and removing the leaf with the patented mechanism making it so only one person can easily do the job in seconds. The set shows a little wear from its intended use but certainly is presentable and displays nicely. Overall condition is very good and it will give many more years of service. The table has rounded corners and a 12" pull out leaf that has a wire storage rack under the table. It measures 47" long when closed and open with the leaf it is 59" It has a height of 27" to the skirt and 30" to the top. The width at the center seam is 29 5/8" The chairs have a white vinyl upholstery. The chairs were re-upholstered at some point. There are no rips/tears or stains on the chairs. Aqua and Gold. Mid Century dinette set for the kitchen or dining room, includes six chairs, table and extension leaf. Table is white formica with gold speckles throughout and a pattern of aqua and gold diamonds running in two parallel rows along the length of the table. This is a fabulous. Sleek, vintage formica and chrome dinette set from the 1940's or 50's in incredible condition from an estate. Most of the furniture from this estate is from the 1940's and is in unbelievable condition. It has all been impeccably maintained. This dinette set is clean with no notable flaws. There are some pinpoint spots on the chrome and some minor surface discoloration in some places on the chrome. But I have not done anything to it. I am selling as I found it which is in fabulous condition! This set is so versatile. It is a drop leaf gate leg table. All hinges and movable parts move easily and are in great condition. The table measures 30" wide. The length is determined by how many of the leafs you have up. If you drop both leafs the table measures 18-1/2" long. One leaf up measures 32-3/8" and ... moreif you have both leafs up it is 46-1/8" long. 28-3/16" tall. The chairs appear to have the original upholstery and are in excellent condition with no flaws noted. As shown in photos. I have up for sale a fabulous 1950s Dinette Set. The table was made by WALTER OF WABASH. Comes with one extension leaf and has a faux wood grain formica top. The chairs were made by Kay-Mar Industries Inc- Cassopolis, Michigan. I purchased the set direct from the original owner who told me, her and her husband purchased the set sometime in the 50s. The table has unusual legs that have a weaved pattern at the top corner section. The legs are copper colored steel with a brass toned metal weaving pattern on the corner sections. The top is is superb condition- it has a faux wood grain formica top and one matching leaf. The table minus the leaf measures approx 47" long by 35-1/2" wide. The leaf is approx 11-1/2" wide- 35-1/2" long. The table is in great shape- no damages and any wear is modest. The chairs are in excellent condition! ... moreI would say that they are slightly smaller than normal sized chairs- sturdy but not necessarily for a real large person in my opinion. The stand 31" tall. The backs approx 16-1/4" across. The seats are approx 15-1/2" wode- 14-1/4" deep and from the ground to the top of the seat is approx 17-1/2" I am not sure of the material of the seats but something on the order of vinyl. No rips,No tears nor any punctures to the seats. Some very modest light wear but overall excellent shape. I am calling this a set but the chairs were not made by the same company as the table. The chairs were made by Kaymar Industries Inc and the table by Walter of Wabash. The old gal that I purchased this from took fantastic care of everything see owned. And overall the set is in superb shape for its age. Any wear is very minor. You will not be disappointed. I will not ship the item myself. If you want to arrange a shipper to pick it up from me that is fine, but I would want payment directly after the sale and you can take care of the shipping on your end. VINTAGE VINTAGE RETRO COOL Gray and Black( some white too) Formica and chrome kitchen dinette table set. Measures 36"x48" with a 12" extension to engage if needed and is 29" tall. STELLAR table top no stain or chips. The dark areas that show in the pic are my shadow. Table and chairs are VERY solid and firm. No wobble. The chairs have their floor caps and were PA State Law required Used Materials Sprayed and tagged. Cool details that may not show well have the top in a faux butcher block“stripe” pattern. Engineered holes in the table edge side and chrome decorated areas add a cool RETRO visual twist. One chair as shown has a tear on the side corner. Not where you sit, but along the side. Vintage Yellow Formica Kitchen Table Diner Set
Vintage yellow cracked ice dining table set. Pics shows it with the leaf in and also without so you can make it smaller if you take it out. Comes with 7 chairs. They do not all match but they are all yellow. Some cracked ice vinyl. Some just yellow. I actually have extra yellow cracked ice vinyl material to recover them(not sure how much) As well, this set includes a yellow cosco step stool and also a yellow kitchen cart with a plug outlet attached to it. I'm re-doing my kitchen so I need to sell this. This is a super cute set and I've spent quite a bit of money collecting all these items. All sales final. No exceptions. Vtg 1950's 5 Pc. Chrome Dinette Set - Formica Top w/Fold out Leaf - Vinyl Chairs
This 1950's 5 Piece Chrome Dinette Set includes Formica Top Table with Fold Out/Pop Up Leaf and 4 Vinyl Covered Chairs Top of table is in good condition with signs of wear around metal edges and a damage spot that appears to be from a power tool( The fold out leaf has a pull wire that needs mended or replaced for ease of releasing extension. You will simply pull the wire, pull table apart and unfold the leaf for extra seating space with no worries about where to store the leaf. Table legs are n good condition. Just in need of some paint. Measurements: 29.5" Tall. 53" Long. 36" Wide. 17 3/4" Extention. The 4 Chairs are in good condition for it's age. All have original vinyl with a few cracks on a couple of chairs. 2 Pic)chair has a larger crack in the seat. Antique 1950s Chrome and Formica Dining Set - Vintage Table and Chairs
This mid-century antique formica and chrome kitchen set is in outstanding condition and is a collector's dream. The yellow pearl tabletop is nearly flawless. With only one barely noticeable blemish(see attached image) The chairs have worn a bit more over the years and have a few tears(also pictured) but included in the set are replacement covers, custom made by a professional upholsterer. Two of the chairs have already been re-covered, and the other two covers are included if you desire to replace the others! In addition to the replacement seat covers, the set also includes two table leaves, which are easily stored and hidden underneath. This set was originally owned by one family in Mountain Top PA, was acquired from them by me in 2004 and have lived in my kitchen in Philadelphia since then. The chairs are dated on their underside"Jan ... more26 1954" and are credited to the manufacturer, Oxford Furniture Company of Oxford, PA. Considering this set has been in constant use for more than 60 years, it is in unbelievable shape! Mid to small sized Formica top grey table. Metal curved legs(removable) Set of 4(one not pictured) vinyl red matching chairs. Chair seat is original, chair back had been redone by previous owner, chair backs suffer some damage. I'd always intended on reupholstering but it no longer fits my lifestyle.
