this is a 5 piece dining set that seems to be extremely rare and high end. it is attributed to charles hollis jones but it is also in the style of karl springer.Kagan,etc. the set is very heavy and overbuilt for maximum strength and decades of service. this set was not used very often having sat in a second home since it was purchased in a nyc showroom. the lucite is crystal clear with zero breaks or damage. the vinyl on the chairs does have some light discolor and scuffs. the heavy chrome trim and fittings are very good and gleam. the table top is 3/4 inch thick solid lucite. it does have some light scuffs that can easily be buffed out. there are no scratches. the thick and solid lucite legs are 1 1/2 inches in diameter. they do fold up if you wish to store or move the table more easily. the chairs are labeled with karmel plastics-bridgeport,ct ... moretags. this set is simply incredible. it looks delicate and floating but it is all very heavy and solid for normal use. the dimensions are 31 1/2 x 31 1/2 x 27 1/2 high for the table. the chairs are 17 wide x 17 high seat x 18 deep x 30 1/2 tall back. thanks for looking

SPACE AGE MOD Chromcraft Dining Table & 4 Chairs LUCITE GLASS Saarinen TULIP
There's more photos at the bottom of the text! Vintage dining room table with 4 swivel chairs. Made of Lucite. Metal and glass. The maker is unknown since there are no tags or marks that I could find on the pieces although it has a striking resemblance to a Chromcraft set. The circular glass top rests upon an oval base giving a rather interesting"eyeball" effect when viewed standing up. Chairs are thick Lucite and steel with padded vinyl cushions. The base Lucite is an amber color while upper section is more of a smoked grey. This color difference isn't that striking until you get closer or bright sunlight hits it at the right angle. Overall condition is good with no breaks or cracks in the Lucite or glass. The chairs function well and are very sturdy and well made with no creaks or cracks. They have a nice weight and heft ... moreto them. The steel on all the pieces looks exceptionally great since it was just recently powdercoated. The vinyl seats have just been recovered and are nice and white although there is a detraction to one of them. See below. Here's a list of the detractions noted. No matter how minor: The glass top has many small scuffs and scratches that are visible when you get closer to it. The Lucite table base has scuffs and scratches as well. The Lucite on the chairs has scuffs and scratches. Many of these could potentially be buffed out with the time and enough elbow grease One vinyl seat has many small tears and burrs. I don't imagine it would cost a lot to have this one chair reupholstered. Please see all the photos for images of these detractions. Table measures 42 inches in diameter and is 29.5 inches high. Each chair is 30 inches high at the back with a width of 25 inches and a depth of approx 25 inches. Darling set! The metal base could use some sanding and recoating. But is charming as it is! The acrylic on two chair backs has some whitish discolor areas and one has a thin stress crack. See pictures, and it has a rectangular glass top. This lovely Table is in sturdy and secure condition for daily use. Up for sale is a really beautiful Chromcraft dining set. In excellent condition, the one owner used this a dedicated dining table and it was rarely used. This table was really taken care of. Incredibly clean and the bases still have all the original gliders. I'll be adding some more pics later this evening. Cushions are original and in excellent condition. The original owner added some foam under the cushions over the chair base. Easy to remove but actually protects the cushions well. The glass has some small scuffs here and there. Very hard to notice. Retro Chromcraft Lucite Orange Amber Chairs and Dining Table
This dining set is an awesome piece of 60's retro. Mid century furnishings! Made by Chromcraft. With a Saarinen inspired design. The tulip swivel chairs are made of lucite and only one chair has a slight mark, not a scratch or chip, in it(see last picture) The base of the table is also lucite and has a small mark. The metal stems on the chairs and base have some of the brown paint that came off over time. The original soft fabric is in great shape. The heavy amber glass top is 1/2" thick and in great shape. Beautiful Mid Century Sovereign Furniture Smoked glass table with chrome base and four matching grey Lucite backed with white faux leather padded swivel tulip seats. Originally sold by the Duchess Furniture Company in Hernando. Mississippi. Really cool retro/ vintage addition for your dining room. There are some cracks and scratches to chair backs due to normal wear and tear of the many years, which could be easily repaired. Vintage lucite, brass and glass dining table from 70's
This beauty of a table has been in the same family since 1972. It is in excellent condition. I've researched everywhere but have not found anything like it. It was designed by a designer from that period. Possibly custom designed.The base is composed of four very thick lucite columns connected by a very thick brass crossbar. I believe the brass is coated with 18 karat gold electroplate) The glass top measures 76" x 48" x 29" high. It is a half inch thick with a one inch beveled edge. There are two very, very minor scratches on the glass top. It is incredibly gorgeous. Anyone interested in vintage lucite would love to add this piece to their collection.

A very fine Lucite modern designstic dining table base in butterfly form. Marked: Lion in Frost, in script. The two Lucite supports are joined by a brass crossbar bolted through the Lucite. On top is a wide bevel, 3/4" thick, glass sheet. The table measures 8' long by 4' wide by 28-1/2" tall. The Lucite base measures 31" deep by 27-3/4" tall by 33-1/2" long. Excellent condition: Lucite and glass without chips or cracks, no use scratches. The dining table(without china dinnerware) is for one price.
