Anderson Danish Mid Century Modern Teak Dining Table 8 Leather Chairs
A classic teak dining table manufactured in Denmark. This table is the quintessential Danish modern expandable dining table. It features two Dutch style extraction leaves which pull out from either end of the table allowing for eight to dine comfortably. The frame is solid wood and the legs and banding are solid teak. The leaves match well with the tabletop and the piece is in excellent vintage condition with barely any wear. The teak has a wonderful tone and has a nice mellow and even grain pattern. this is a fine quality designer dining set made in denmark and imported by selig. these chairs seem to be very rare and obscure. it is certainly comparable to wegner.Juhl,hvidt etc. the table and chairs are the same designer. they all have the indented dimple at the top of the legs. the whole set is in very good to excellent all original condition. a couple of chairs did have the back re-glued and it should be re-done. it was not done professionally. while not too bad it would make the set look better. i can send pics to you if you wish. the top is reversible and both sides are clean and good. if anyone recognizes this designer i would like to know. the dimensions are- chairs-22 wide x 21 deep x 30 1/2 high back and table is 35 1/2 square by 28 1/2 high. the chairs have a bit wider seat than average. thanks for looking.

Set is in very good condition with the exception of one chair that has a leg that has been repaired with a couple of screws and some glue. All other chairs are structurally VERY sound. Besides that. There is a couple of very small 1/4" holes in the original tweed fabric on two of the chairs and just normal wear to the tabletop from use that would be commensurate with age. The other four chairs are free of holes and their upholstery is pretty much perfect w/ very little visible soiling. Chairs are signed Svegards Markaryd. Excellent condition- sturdy and without chips, stains or damage. Minor wear to the arms of the two host chairs. The upholstery on the chairs is fine but a little tired looking. This exceptional set includes a beautiful Flip Top Mogensen Dining table with 4 Model 155 Teak and Oak dining chairs. This set was owned by one owner its entire life. And was very gently used and the condition shows. These pieces are made of Teak and Oak, a signature of Borge Mogensen's designs. When closed the table measures 28.5" tall and is 35.5" square. It has a compact footprint, but easily expands to twice ... moreits length 71( long when opened) by sliding the table surface down and flipping the table open. The height of the table surface when expanded is 28" tall. Note brass spring loaded latches that keep the table closed when not expanded) The chairs are wonderfully crafted(cabinet maker quality) with rock solid joints and no breaks or repairs. The chairs have a sleek design and look incredible from all angles. The Teak and oak on the table and chairs have beautiful deep patinas from age with very little wear. A couple of the seats have some very light scratches from gentle use but overall show exceptionally well. The table surface has a couple very light scratches as pictured but overall exceptional condition. The table was rarely used expanded, the large open surface is in wonderful condition with beautiful teak grains and nice Brass hinges as shown. Vietnamese Hand Carved Teak Wood GRAND Dining Table w Chairs & Hutch ELEPHANTS!
For sale is an Exquisite Grand Dining table and Buffet style Hutch for sale! This came over from Vietnam in 1978 and all pieces are Teak Wood. Expert craftsmanship on these pieces. I cant imagine how long this must have taken to make. Each of the 8 chairs has a different jungle scene with elephants on both the fronts and backs, the table is simply amazing, but it is not just a show piece as it is functional as well with the piece of glass that covers the top. The Hutch is 2 pieces, the top part with the glass doors comes off the Buffet table. Plenty of storage for your best China. This set is in great condition as well, there is one crack on the left bottom door of the hutch that you can see in the last 2 pics. You cant tell unless really close and door still works fine, it is not broken, only cracked. Otherwise just some minor surface wear ... morenicks here and there, well below average surface wear. This has only had 1 owner and has been sitting in the same place for 36 years, so other then the trip over here, it has not been moved around other then getting it to my place. The table stands 34" tall, is 79.5" long(almost 7 foot) and is 40" wide. The hutch stands just under 6 foot at 70" tall, is exactly 6 foot or 72" wide. The top part of the hutch is 12" deep, and the bottom is 18" deep. This is truly a rare find, I can guarantee you that everyone that comes into your home will comment on this piece about how lovely it is! A must have for any Elephant lover, the pictures speak for themselves, but believe me when I say its even more impressive in person as the pictures do not show off the 3D effect on this furniture! A great original Danish teak dining table. One leaf and four chairs with original fabric seats. The table is marked with the white label Rasmus Made in Denmark. Three of the four chairs have the Made in Denmark tag. The table measures approx. 59" by 34" and 28 1/2" high. The leaf is about 20" wide. The base is about 48" long and 33" wide and needs to be tightened. Wonderful patina. The chair seats are clean with no tears or stains.
