this is a fine quality designer dining set made in denmark and imported by selig. these chairs seem to be very rare and obscure. it is certainly comparable to wegner.Juhl,hvidt etc. the table and chairs are the same designer. they all have the indented dimple at the top of the legs. the whole set is in very good to excellent all original condition. a couple of chairs did have the back re-glued and it should be re-done. it was not done professionally. while not too bad it would make the set look better. i can send pics to you if you wish. the top is reversible and both sides are clean and good. if anyone recognizes this designer i would like to know. the dimensions are- chairs-22 wide x 21 deep x 30 1/2 high back and table is 35 1/2 square by 28 1/2 high. the chairs have a bit wider seat than average. thanks for looking.

Super Awesome Mid Century Modern/Danish Style Dining Set with extension table and foldable chairs. This group in almost a new set. Everything seems perfect with a couple small light scratches on table top, the chairs appear never used. This awesome set was made by the Stakmore Company. The table has the mid century/Danish style legs and a laminate top with three leaves and two drop down sides, the table measures only 27" when fully collapsed and 94" long when leaves and aprons are used. The width of the table is 41 1/2" wide. Now the REALLY COOL part. Stanley Mid Century Danish Modern Dining room set vintage late 50's early 60's
This is a complete dining room set including 6 chairs. The chair seats are all original material as is the complete set and as close to flawless as is possible. This set was used for show when originally purchased and over the years since then has been covered and forgotten. Not sure how to get the pictures on as I am so so when using a computer. The price is also a question at this point as I am finding a set like this to be very hard to find. I suppose once I get the pictures up I will then figure out a price. Mid Century Danish Modern Svegards Markaryd Teak Dining Set Table + 6 Chairs
Set is in very good condition with the exception of one chair that has a leg that has been repaired with a couple of screws and some glue as pictured. All other chairs are structurally VERY sound. Besides that. There is a couple of very small 1/4" holes in the original tweed fabric on two of the chairs and just normal wear to the tabletop from use that would be commensurate with age. The other four chairs are free of holes and their upholstery is pretty much perfect w/ very little visible soiling. Chairs are signed by manufacturer and from my research I am pretty sure that the table is made by Svegards Markaryd as well. Without leaves, 59 1/2(each leaf is 15' there are 2 for 30inches of additional length) so with all leaves in use the table is 89 1/2 long, it is also 43 inches wide. John Widdecomb's purchased the Widdicomb Co. in 1974 and this set is from that era. Beautiful in it's simplicity, it would work perfectly in any home for it would compliment all styles of design. The table is round. W/o extensions it measures 48 inches in diameter and its height is 29 1/4 inches. Each of the 3 extensions measures 48 inches long and 16 inches wide making the table 96 inches in length when all extensions are used. Chairs are 32 inches high. Floor to seat is 19 inches. Seat depth 16 1/2 inches. Width 18 inches. The table top will definitely need to be refinished. Sometime in it's past. The original finish was removed ... moreon top of the table. It has spots and color fading. The rest of the table and the 4 chairs has the original finish on them. Along with the expected wear, scuff marks and some finish loss is noted on some of the chairs and table legs/sides. Some veneer is missing in some areas. The chairs have been recovered at least once and a previous covering seems to be in place under the current one. One of the extensions has drip marks on the underside which may indicate that this extension has been refinished in the past. When placed in the table, the color and finish match everything on the set BUT the top of the table. All of the extensions are stamped with the same number. These pieces will be sold as is. It can be used in the Round(4ft in diameter) but also comes with two leafs that extend it up to 92 inches. We have 5 chairs that are all in great shape.
