GORGEOUS Antique 4 Piece Bedroom Set Solid Wood Jamestown NY
This is a set that has been in my family for over 40years. It is a solid set and Very Heavy. It has been refinished 25years ago. Still looks Beautiful! It does have some chips here and there. The back of the Armoire is replaceable. It is screwed on the back. there are two pieces missing that stand in between the two shelves, you can have someone make you new ones, I used to have a small T.V. inside. The shelves are adjustable with L shaped brass brackets. The Inside top drawer of the armoire still has the gold velvet removable sheet, like a cardboard, and so does the ladies dresser on both ends. I just noticed when I was looking for the manufacturer's tag that the back panel of the Armoire is replaceable, it is screwed on. 1960's Black Formica/ vinyl twin bed sofa set. My grandmother bought it in the 60s for her guest room and I used it in mine later. It has shiny black Formica tops. And the rest is padded vinyl. It is made of covered pressed wood with solid wood holding it up. Each of the three compartments open for storage and bolt together for added stability. The bottom box springs that the mattresses rest on have brass casters and are also black vinyl with blue and white cotton striped tops.Pink bed spreads are not included. More spectacular when seen in person as it's hard to capture all of the lovely detail in pictures. This has been altered to fit a king size bed but can fit a queen as well. Head board measures 8'7" long~~4'4" tall in center~~3'4" tall at shortest. Foot board measures 5'3" long~~ 3'7" tall. There is a broken arm on cherub, some surface cracks on top edge of head board and a few small spots of worn leather. These are minor issues and does not detract from beauty. Unknown Vintage 7 Piece King Lighted Headboard w/Frame, Mirrors Lots of Storage
Here we have a 7 piece king size headboard. This was gifted to us about 10 years ago. I'm sorry but I do not know an exact age or who the manufacturer was. We were told at that time that it was some kind of antique and was valued at about 3K. I have not verified any of that. In any event we have moved and it simply will not fit in our new home. It is 100% original. No repairs or restorations have ever been made; as none are needed. It has a lighted bridge with a dimmer. 2 large mirrors, and tons of storage. It is massive! It measures 6' 6 1/2" tall X 10' 8" wide X 17" deep. Dark wood finish with burl wood accents and brass hardware. Not sure exactly how much of it is real wood vs. laminate. I think it's a combination of both. As you can see, it's loaded with detail and the quality of craftsmanship is excellent. ... moreIt was likely a high end piece at that time. It is comprised of 7 pieces. 2 piers. A lower bridge, upper lighted bridge, 2 mirrors w/wood spacer and the metal bed frame. All of the original hardware that holds it together is also included. Obviously it must be transported disassembled and assembled on the spot. Assembly is very simple and takes about 30 minutes. It is pictured here with a California King mattress but is actually King size. Obviously it accommodates both. THE MATTRESS AND BOX SPRING PICTURED ARE NOT INCLUDED! Those were discarded when we moved. You can see in the photos why you don't let your 2-3 year old come sleep in your bed. LOL. The bed has tons of storage. Each end pier has a 2 door cabinet that has 2 interior shelves. Creating 3 sections. At bottom are 4 drawers. All of the drawers slide smoothly and line up perfectly. The lower bridge is footed for additional strength. It also has sliding doors that conceal even more storage. The upper bridge has inset lights and a dimmer knob.
