The geometric style chest has 6 drawers on the top half all with dividers and 2 large deep drawers on the bottom. The dresser has 6 deep drawers and 4 smaller drawers(2 deep) in the center and a nice sized bevelled mirror. There is a tiny,very thin piece of veneer off on the very back right side edge of the dresser that is barely noticable(not pictured) This set has no junky metal slides. You are bidding on a LATTOFLEX TEAK SINGLE/TWIN BED/FUTON MADE IN NEW YORK DURING THE MID-CENTURY MODERN EAMES ERA. Measures approximately 39.5" W x 17" H x 77" L. This bed was purchased by the original owners in the mid-1960's. In great condition considering its age. It has its original mattress with tan ticking fabric cover. No holes or major stains. The bed frame does show some wear, one chip to the veneer on one of the corners, and 2 of the slat's dowels have snapped. Believe it to be an easy fix and does not effect the functionality or integrity of the bed, you can still sit on/lay on it securely. The original rubber loop pull at the top which you use to raise and lower the top of the bed to a sitting position is torn, but still functional as well. As noted. This is available only for pickup. For Sale/Auction- Very well taken care of one owner late 1950's solid cherry pencil post 4 piece bedroom set. Queen/full size, all original, in near mint condition with original finish, no major dings or scratches. The drawer sides are made of oak wood and have dove tail joints. Set includes complete bed with side rails and slats, night stand, large chest, dresser with mirror. Maker is unknown, probably made right here in N.C. This is local pickup only.
