The hinges are intact and in fine working condition. The inside of the lid has a red velvet lining. Where the lid and box go together. It is lined with faux ivory. The caddy has two compartments with matching lids. The bottom of the box is covered with a dark covered floral embossed paper. The top. Back, front, and base of the box are sectioned off by silver flat wire. You can tell a lot of effort and highly skilled workmanship went into making this Tea Caddy of great quality for its time. This two compartment Tea Caddy sits on four round ball feet and measures a little over five inches high. About eight inches long, and about five inches wide. It weighs about 503 grams. Due to its great vintage age it does have condition issues. And could probably use a very good restoration from an expert. There are cracks on the top. Front, back, and sides. There are chips of material gone on the front. Base, sides, and back. Some of the flat silver sectioning wire looks bent and some looks to be missing. One of the hand engraved mother of pearl flower petals. Under the front lock plate, is missing. Both of the compartment lids have chips with material missing. And the compartment linings and lock mechanism are gone. The item might be used as your jewelry box if you did not want to restore it as a Tea Caddy. The piece is suitable both for permanent location or as on occasional table. When in folded position the table assumes very little space and can be slid under a sofa or such; in addition the gorgeous solid trays may be used on their own for serving and display purposes. The base is a six leg folding design with dragons head carvings to the upper. The trays display wonderful scense with floral and foliate detailing to the perimeter and a central engraving featuring oriental characters in traditional dress. I am selling a Thomas& Thomas"Vagabond" rod that I really like. But rarely have had an opportunity to fish. When I bought it, I had great ambitions for fishing in far-away exotic places, but it looks like those dreams are not going to come to pass. I have fished this rod, however, and I can say that despite the number of ferrules, the rod flexes deep and has what I would call a moderate action. I guess this is what I should have expected from Thomas& Thomas, but it is still a source of some amazement to me. Thomas& Thomas no longer offers this rod. But when it did it said this about it in the marketing literature: A rod you can take anywhere, the Vagabond is designed in multiple 15" sections that slip easily into a standard briefcase or overnight bag. Yet, they handle with the ease and smoothness of a 2-piece rod. ... moreFeatures include an uplocking reel seat with hardwood insert and Western grip. I would also note that it has alignment marks, which I think are useful for a rod with this many sections. It is made from a black polished blank with black wraps, and is beautifully finished. The rod retailed for $785.00 in the late'90's when I bought it. It comes with the original rod bag and cordura case. The rod is in excellent shape. I would characterize it as"like new" but for a noticeable scratch on the second section. I have included a close-up of the scratch. It does not affect the performance of the rod. Here is an older Shakespeare Wonder Rod model BWC145 made in the USA. It shows some use but still has a lot of use left in it. It will hold 12- 20 lb test line 1/2- 1 oz lures. VINTAGE MILWARDS SOLID WOOD SALMON ROD-10 FT 7 INCH-3 PIECE/1 TIP-NEEDS GUIDES
Here is a Vintage Mil wards of England Solid Wood Salmon Rod. This is a 3 piece 1 tip with a length of 10 feet 7 inches. I believe this rod is Greenheart but not sure. Th e t ip section is short by 2.5 inches. The ferrules are spiked and brass in construction. The mid has all the guides but the but need to have the agate or glass insert reattached. The tip section needs 3 guides replaced. These are the t hin wire casting style guides. The cork grip is 16.5 inches long. The reelseat. Cork a nd ferrules are in good sh ape. The Milwards name is l egible on the butt ca p. The sliding ri ngs for t he reel are brass in construction. The sections are pretty straight but t he tip has some fishing experience. This is an Orvis"All-Rounder" 8' 3" 2 1/2 oz. 2 pc. fly rod. Rated 7 wt. by Orvis, at 2 1/2 oz. this is the same weight as an 8 1/2 ft. 5 wt. Henry's Fork" or an 8 ft. 6 wt. Trout" model, which often weighs in at 2 1/2 oz. Go figure. It is a medium action with a strong back half and softer towards the tip, probably why they rated it for 7 line, because of the strong back half. It is a light 7 wt. and fishes well with a floating or sinking 6, which were the lnes I liked best on it and a DT 5 floating works real well too. This one's in good shape, see the pictures. 2 tips here, the main tip that is original to the rod and a"spare" tip that is 4 inches short, that came off another"All-Rounder" I broke and had repaired by Orvis, so you will have two rods here really. The wraps are all virtually ... moreidentical, a dark burgundy/cordovan color. The tip that's 4 inches short fishes of course a touch faster and heavier, more a true 7 wt. and real suitable for bass bugs or big terrestrials. With this tip on, it's a 7' 11" rod. Taye Tour Pro Graphix skull edition drum set. This is an extremely rare drum set very hard to find. The set was originally a 5 piece drum set but it also has the two tom add on so it is now a 7 piece. Drums only no cymbals or hardware. The drums are in pretty good shape their are some scratches. But nothing major at all. their is also some very minor surface rust on a few of the rims and lugs. The shells are a mix of birch and basswood tat gives it a nice warm and punchy tone. Drum sizes diameter/ depth Bass: 24/18 snare14/7 mounted toms: 10/8. 12/9, 14/11 floor toms: 16/16. 18/16 They are huge drums that sound great. A never used 2 piece. 7 foot, 9 Scottie River Fly Rod in dark tan cloth stored inside of a 2" diameter leather wrapped tube with leather carry strap. This is a Split Cane Special Edition issued in the 1960's. I am selling this for someone and that is what he told me. As new condition, with burgandy tie down's and a 5 1/4" cork handle. J.S. The appearance of the translucent amber'glass definitely reminds me of the early-1960s FF Fenwicks. Yard-casting to around 40 feet with a WF7F line had me feeling I'd want to reach for an eight weight line to feel more loading. Of course. If you're a 60-feet-of-line-in-the-air-at-all-times kind of guy, you might prefer six weight lines with this rod. Line ratings are just starting points, anyway, as we know. My sense is that this substantial rod would come into its own with a good fish on much more than while just grass-casting. The blank. Wraps/whippings, and guides—six snakes, a stripper, ... moreand tip-top—look very, very good. The reel seat is somewhat scuffed. The cork must've been kind of ugly from the get-go(lots of visible filler) and it still is. The grip feels solid, though—no crumbling—so it's absolutely fishable. No sock came with the rod. I'll cobble something together or at least wrap the pieces individually with packing material. The tube is that unique. Two-flavours-of-green cardboard thing you see in the photos. It's intact structurally, although part of its papery covering is torn. I'll enclose this in an outer shipping tube. Can't think of what I'm leaving out. anything else?

This is a Sage VPS 790 9 foot 7 weight two piece fly rod. Small enough for trout but big enough for smallies and largemouths and an occasional blue fish. I have owned it for about ten years but don't believe I ever used it. If I did, it would have been on freshwater. It's in perfect condition. Nice ST.Croix Pro Graphite PF764 7'6" 4 WT Fly Fishing Rod I bought this rod in 2003 or 2004 for fresh water fishing the small creeks and one very special small river close to my house. A very good rod for small streams and places where an 8'6" or 9' just won't let you do the job. Small creeks and rivers are lots of fun but can be difficult to fish with the fly rod. I find it harder in my old age to trek those waters anymore and even more so to get access. This was also the rod I eventually taught my son to cast and he was hooked(hence the few scuff marks and not damaging the rod) If you want a rod to teach a younger person how to cast. You are bidding on a Fenwick Fly Rod. This Fly Rod has never been used. I have had this Fly Rod for 25-30 years and never used it. The only wear on this rod is taking it in and out of the rod holder. The white lettering on the side of the rod is hard to read. It looks like the writing says 8 1/4' I measured the rod tip to end and it measured 8'3" This is a two piece rod. The line weight is a 7. The writing on the side is not clear but I had it confimed at the local fishing shop. Good luck. Even though I marked used. This item has never been used.

This rod was built about 12 years ago by a former fly shop owner in Mt Horeb. Wisconsin. It is built on a blank that was either a Fisher or Sceptre blank. It fishes best with a DT4F line, but will handle a WF5F as well. Very nice rod, casts well, no damage. Comes with the green rod bag in the pictures, but no case. Will make someone a great rod for small streams with lots of cover. I bought it new from the man who built it and have fished it perhaps a half dozen times.

Anyone that has used this rod knows that it is the Cadillac of mid priced switch rods performing like the most expensive switch rods on the market. It has amazingly crisp casting action and a nice stiff upper section for drift fishing. Yet easily protects light tippet. Casting is concise. And a bit faster than with a longer rod. Once you get the timing down, however, the CPX Switch rod will feel like a spey rod of typical length and you will not be giving up anything in medium-length casting distance. It appears to have a bit better accuracy on casts, and it is very easy to overhead cast and put the fly in the bucket. After all, isn’t that the reason why we buy all this equipment?
