Even the sides of dresser and armoire are hand painted with scenes I think it is 1900's but could be earlier. I bought it 10 years ago and it was described as French cream and brown. I am only giving it up as I have inherited a family bedroom suite and need the room. Beautiful brass ornate pulls(all there) Glass tops are on dresser and nite stands as well as vanity all there. Dresser is 50 inches wide and has mirror 46 inches wide small thin piece of trim on front of dresser is missing but is easily replaced Armoire is 37 inches wide and 79 inches tall the original key is still with it The armoire door is not latching but would be easy to fix. I show a picture of the inside of the armoire, there is a rod inside of armoire with a small drawer. The vanity is 42 inches wide with matching ornate mirror and drawer. The 2 nightstands both have a door that opens for storage they are 22" wide. The bed head board is adorned with flowers has a small area of paint missing. Bed is 67 inches across and 58 inches tall. It would easily accommodate a 3/4 full or queen mattress. There is not a footboard or side rails it was not made for them. The mattress set pictured is a queen select comfort but is not included with the set Let me know if you have questions or need more pictures so that you can see the conditon of this set. Twin Beds and Bedroom suit, 5pcs.
This bedroom suite was my dad’s when he was young. It was bought in 1956. But it was used when my grandpa and grandma bought it so I don’t really know how much older it is. We didn’t see any markings on it(let me know if you know of a specific area to look for markings) One head board has a little crack(shown in one of the pictures) I didn’t notice any damage on any thing else. The side boards for the beds are leaning against the tall dresser. John Widdicomb King Size French Provincial Bedroom Set Complete This set belonged to my aunt and uncle who have passed on some years ago. It was custom made for them back in the early 1960's. My aunt was nuts about John Widdicomb and most of the furniture in her house was ordered and made for her. Fine made furniture made of solid wood. We have this set in our summer home and are in the process of putting it up on the market so we really would like to sell it rather than store it. Complete CUSHMAN COLONIAL BEDROOM SET.there is seven pieces total plus a glass top for the writing desk. The set is in overall nice condition.some pieces are excellent! There is a bed with head and foot board plus two side rails. A tall boy dresser, a short 5 drawer dresser, a writing desk with glass top, a night stand and two mirrors. All pieces seem to be authentic to the original set. The bed is not in the best condition.one of the rails is loose, there is a wear spot on the head board as you can see in the photo and the mans puppy who I bought it off of chewed the one foot that you can also see in the photo.he was the original owner by the way and he thinks this dates to 1947 which is possible as the drawer tags are the older style.
