The above information I obtained from another website that deals a lot with furniture by Biggs and had sold the same bed. I have had this bed since I was a child and it was being used as a guest bed in our home. I am now ready to part with it. The Biggs stamp is on the back of the headboard. The bed is over 50 years old. This bed is in need of restoration. It has scratches and rub marks and then one post has a piece that broke off at the top and was glued back in. That is the picture you see that shows what looks to be a crack. I think that could easily be restored properly. This bed is solid and over all in very good shape. I have taken many pictures of each part of the bed after we took it down to give you a better idea of the condition. I have this priced to sell because of the condition. A similar Biggs bed in better condition would sell for a lot more. This bed does come with a flat canopy. Which is not pictured. I never used
