Much better than what is typically found beds of this type and era, ready to use very clean and with a wonderful patina to the wood. With the original slats, no replacement wood no discoloration no significant or structural damage. The head side of the rails on each bed have a missing part of the decorative designee and the other rail with one intact and one repaired(see the third photo) One of the footboards has chips on the base of the columns(see last photo) and this footboard also has some loose joints giving it some slight pay, less than typical for antique bedframes. Antique Thomasville Bedroom Set
Collectors Set- Family Heirloom Bedroom Set has been in my family since the 1930's and may predate that time. Handled gently. It was owned by my great Aunt and later passed down to me. The Thomasville Emblem can be found inside some of the drawers. The model number stamped on the back of each piece is L-553. The wood is in amazing condition and has never been refinished. Some surfaces on the top could use smoothing and refinishing but overall the set is truly gorgeous. The wood slats across the bed which hold up the mattress are the original pieces. Complete bed. The bed measures 54 1/2" w by 70 1/2"tall X 77" This is a long bed and is unusual because its a full or double. The dresser has four drawers and two smaller drawers on the top. The dresser also comes with a mirror. It is a very victorian looking mirror. VINTAGE/ANTIQUE 4 PIECE DREXEL BEDROOM SET
Up for auction is a vintage/antique Drexel 4 piece bedroom set. This is nice sturdy furniture from the days when things were made to last. I believe my parents bought it in 1958 or 1959. I don’t know much about furniture but I’ll describe them as best I can. The dresser measures approx. 52” wide by 21” deep by 36” high. Has six deep drawers, and matching mirror. The top drawer on both sides has a sliding jewelry tray. Next is the chest of drawers. It stands approx.48” high by 20”deep by 36” wide. There are five drawers. Each a little deeper than the other from top to bottom, ranging from 4” to 18” The top drawer also has a sliding jewelry tray. Third is the night stand. Its dimensions are 28” high by 16” deep by 20” wide. It has one drawer and shelf space underneath. Last but not least is the regular size bed frame. I have the head and foot ... moreboards and the 2 side boards; however I don’t know what became of the slats that hold the mattress and box spring up. This set is used. It has some scratches and chips here and there. There is a reddish stain on the dressers top. Possibly from a perfume spill. Also, when I took the mirror off, I found a brown stain, for lack of a better description, that was hidden underneath that seems to have eaten part of the laminate. This is an unusual French style bedroom set that probably only dates from the 1960s. Which came out of a local home and because of the hand ... moredecoration, we thought it was well worth advertising on our site. The set consists of an extra large oversized dresser with a wonderful oversized attached scallop shaped mirror, a full-size frame bed, a pair of matching night stands with grillwork, open doors and drawers underneath, and a tall chest with six serpentine front drawers and a serpentine top. The set is painted in a light green finish with an antiqued distressed touch to it, and has hand painted flowers on all the pieces, with leaves and stems. The finish work is really intact, with only minor nicks and dings here and there, and it’s a nice looking piece of shabby chic. It was probably sold by Drexel or a company like that, because it’s a good quality, sturdy set. It has dovetail drawers, the big Victorian brass cast hardware, and if you look at the night stands, the quality is evident, with double dovetail drawers, paneled scallop shaped doors on top, and everything is two-toned, with gold accent trim against the antique green. This is a set that has been in my family for over 40years. It is a solid set and Very Heavy. It has been refinished 25years ago. Still looks Beautiful! It does have some chips here and there. It is screwed on the back. there are two pieces missing that stand in between the two shelves, you can have someone make you new ones, I used to have a small T.V. inside. The shelves are adjustable with L shaped brass brackets. The Inside top drawer of the armoire still has the gold velvet removable sheet, like a cardboard, and so does the ladies dresser on both ends. Up for bid is a 5 piece Dixie Furniture bedroom set. French style, its original condition, off white with yellow painted accents. I tried to capture as many photos as possible so you can see everything, was very well taken care of. Has dove-tailed drawers made of solid wood, there are a few imperfections, but nothing that bad. A few light scratches/marks here and there, a little bit of chipping on the front of the nightstand(I tried to capture a close-up photo of them) There is a chip on the back of the 5 drawer dresser, still looks fine. The nightstand was stored so does have a very slight musty smell, the other pieces are fine. Mirror looks great, overall all pieces are fine. The headboard comes as shown, does not have the post that are supposed to be attatched(my daughter never wanted them on, and I can't remember what happened to ... morethem) but you don't need them, just want to mention that I don't have them. Up for auction is this antique art deco 1920'1930's bedroom set.It was passed down from my grandmother to my mother back in the day.The vanity with the mirror is one beautiful piece.it's in great condition.it has all orginal draw knobs.Now the dresser with the mirror has 2 knobs missing as you can see from the picture.the veneer on the side is in good condition.nightstand is a great shape.and the head board and foot board is in good condition.Full size bed.there is a full matteress and box spring that goes with it.if you are interested in it I will just throw it in.I mean this set is 80 years old.so it show's its wear on it.the bottom of all of the pieces have scratches from the vacum cleaners.but it has been now in storage for almost 1 year.so it needs a good cleaning.The bed is a full size. We have made some adjustment to make it longer to fit a mattress. The dresser was not purchased with the bed but it also is old. Mattress is clean no pets. Cushman Colonial bedroom set suit 7 piece vintage antique
Complete CUSHMAN COLONIAL BEDROOM SET.there is seven pieces total plus a glass top for the writing desk. The set is in overall nice condition.some pieces are excellent! There is a bed with head and foot board plus two side rails. A tall boy dresser, a short 5 drawer dresser, a writing desk with glass top, a night stand and two mirrors. All pieces seem to be authentic to the original set. The bed is not in the best condition.one of the rails is loose, there is a wear spot on the head board as you can see in the photo and the mans puppy who I bought it off of chewed the one foot that you can also see in the photo.he was the original owner by the way and he thinks this dates to 1947 which is possible as the drawer tags are the older style. The night stand has some surface scratching on the top also. The mirrors have some tape residue from his ... moresporting news paper clippings when he was a kid. Honestly the other pieces are in very nice condition for their age and the writing desk was always protected by the glass.
