They are sturdy and made to last. The footboard has the following stamped on the inside"305 Ant. Yardley Bucks County Provincial" The headboard measures as follows: 43.75" to the top of the ball finial and the measurement to the top edge of the headboard is 42.5" The footboard measures 37.75" to the top of the ball finial. The width of the head and foot boards is 42.5" to the outside edge. It is 14" high to the top edge of the rails. The width across the outer edge of the rails is 40.75" and the width inside is 39 1/8" The corner posts have feather carvings topped with ball finials.
