1955 Davis Cabinet Company Youth Trundle Bed/Desk Combo w/ High Boy Chest
This set was purchased new in 1956 and has been in our family ever since. The trundle bed also has a desk that folds out on the one end with three cubbies and storage below. The second bed has it's own frame and rolls out from under the top main bed. Great for sleepovers or room sharing where space is an issue. It is made of solid hard white mountain maple and the dimensions are as follows. Combo Desk- 43"W x 41"H x 18"D. We are pleased to offer this exquisite. ORIGINAL, Mid Century vintage, king headboard by the renowned Davis Cabinet Company of Nashville, TN. The headboard is in the French Provincial style and features a 3 panel, upholstered design. The fabric is original to the headboard and is a French Toile with a beautiful hunt scene motif. The fabric has an ivory background with a golden pattern. The headboard and panels are arched for additional interest. The frame is wood with a painted white finish that has an antiqued finish(original, not repainted) The frame is outlined in gold leaf. The fabric panels are removable so, if you wanted to add new fabric, it would be a very simple process. The headboard is in very good, vintage condition with very minor scuffs to the painted finish in just a couple of areas. Davis Cabinet Company Rare Mahogany Dining Set. Table, China Cabinet, Buffet
You are bidding on a beautiful and rare mahogany wood Davis Cabinet Company Nashville. TN dining set. Most of these set were made out of cherry wood, but this is mahogany. This was my wife's grandmothers. It was purchase in either late'50's or early'60's. Their is a dining table pad cover with original shipping box. The date on the box is 11/26/63. The set includes a dining table, China cabinet(excluding China in cabinet) and buffet. I'm not sure if the chairs are Davis Cabinet Co. My mother recovered the chairs two years ago, but the original cover is underneath. The table is 81 inches long and 29 inches tall. The table does show some where, but for age is good. The buffet is 41 inches long and 30 inches tall closed up and 18 inches wide. On the underneath part of the buffet there are a few scares on the bottom shelf ... morethat could be cleaned up. The China cabinet is 81 inches tall and 54 inches wide and 15 inches deep at the deepest. I have many more pictures that I can message you. It is in good condition. Why wife's grandmother only had the best and went to the country club for lunch every week of her life. I'm sure this set was the best you could find in its day. Probably won't see this complete set ever again. I'm only selling as a set because I do not want to break them up.
