Raised burled panels and tear drop pulls adorn each drawer~2 small. 2 large. The matching washstand offers a nice storage, with a drawer and large storage area behind paneled doors. This Walnut Victorian bedroom set is in very nice condition for it age. The white and grey marble shows only normal signs of use having some slight discoloration. But no cracks or breaks. There is a repair to the footboard which is very sturdy and secure, not an issue and not very noticable~see picture#4. A complete bedroom set. Done in dark stained pine from Vermont Furniture Company of Bennington, Vermont. Done with an eye for early American style. This dark stained pine bedroom set's matching end tables, bed, dresser, and chest of drawers will make a great addition to any household. This set was originally purchased in 1969 direct from Vermont, so we know the age of the pieces. Sorry, the comforter, bedsheets, and mattresses are for display only and not included for sale. The Vermont Furniture Company was founded in 1920. Started the Bennington line in the 1960s, and went out of business in the 1970s. While looking like antiques, these pieces of furniture do not really qualify for the status of antique pine furniture as they are less than 100 years old. Yet with their dark stains and good quality they are still a great buy. Bennington Pine Furniture is quite solid and has good ratings for overall durability. Made in the late 1800s or early 1900s. We are not sure what type of wood it is. Appears to be maple or ash. It has a veneer finish. The bed comes with a headboard.Footboard and side boards. Complete bed. The bed measures 54 1/2" w by 70 1/2"tall X 77" This is a long bed and is unusual because its a full or double. The dresser has four drawers and two smaller drawers on the top. The dresser also comes with a mirror. It is a very victorian looking mirror. Crafted in Belgium around 1930, and includes a queen size bed, marble top dresser and nightstands. The deep finish is in excellent condition on this vintage furniture from Europe. Hardware is original and there are small warps from age, see photos. Adapted to standard modern queen size with steel rails. The bed includes wood slats underneath. Size is 59" wide, 90" long, the headboard is 50" tall and the footboard is 29" high. The dresser has an original mirror with silvering losses at the edges.
