1950's Heywood Wakefield Bedroom Set Suite Mid-Century Modern Vintage

You get the bed. 5 drawer chest of drawers, 3 drawer dresser with mirror, vanity with mirror and the stool for the vanity. Everything in overall good condition with some finish wear. You are seeing tree shadow in the pictures. Mirrors have some spotting but not as bad as my pictures look-you are seeing dust on both the furniture and mirrors. I just brought it home from an estate and it is below freezing with the winds blowing 25 to 35 miles an hour-you see my son and wife's hands holding the mirrors in place. Stool has had an extra piece of cloth sewn to the top. The vanity has had the top curved shelf piece broken-the bottom one is still in place and you can remove it to get the pattern for the top shelf. A leaf blew into the corner for the pictures. ... moreThe bed measures 54" wide by 76 1/4" long inside the frame. Frame is about 79" long by 57 1/2" wide. The dresser is 42" wide by 20" deep by 33" tall-63 1/4" to the top of the mirror. It has a patent number and also a number that looks like 511 on the rear. The vanity is 48" wide by 18" deep by 24" tall-61 1/2" to the top of the mirror. Patent numbers and a number of 113 or 118 on the back. The 5 drawer chest of drawers is 42" wide by 20" deep by 46 1/2" tall-looks to be numbered 112. It has a slight opening to the wood joint on the one side bottom-nothing harmful. Also the bottom drawer wants to stick just as it is about to go fully closed-the plywood on the underside chest catches it a little there. Set is 50 to 60 years old and still sound and I didn't clean it up any-too cold and windy. THIS SET IS NOT MINT BUT NOT ALL BANGED UP EITHER. I am not sure what the color is-champagne or wheat. Five piece Mid Century Modern Bedroom Set manufactured by United Furniture Company. Solid wood construction with dovetail joints. Believed to be walnut. Gorgeous structural handles and unique wavy design to two doors on long dresser and top drawers on tall dresser. Set includes the following: Full size headboard and footboard with rails. 1950's Mid-Century Modern Vintage Rway bedroom set 5pcs
This great set has 5 pieces; one dresser with 10 drawers. One small cabinet with 4 drawers, 2 part headboard and rails and a mirror. This set is attributed to had been manufactured by Rway company, which started manufacturing in the 1800′s but continuing manufacturing until 1992. Some pieces are collectibles and very expensive. The wood is finished with a golden maple color, the tops are laminated with wood grain Formica, the pulls and the legs are brass. This beautiful set is made up of a dresser with large heavy duty mirror. A gentleman's chest of drawers with reversible sliding grass cloth cane doors and two bedside tables. Amazingly, it has a total of 24 drawers in the four pieces! Clean lines with tons of storage. This set is made by Hooker and is highly sought after. Great condition for it's age. But shows some use on further inspection. There are some areas where the finish has chipped off, and the usual superficial signs of use. The handle backings are not scratched and original paint is intact, all are in good shape. Truly an amazing. Beautiful set.
