1960s MCM Black Sofa Day Bed 2 Twin Beds
1960's Black Formica/ vinyl twin bed sofa set. My grandmother bought it in the 60s for her guest room and I used it in mine later. It has shiny black Formica tops. And the rest is padded vinyl. It is made of covered pressed wood with solid wood holding it up. Each of the three compartments open for storage and bolt together for added stability. The bottom box springs that the mattresses rest on have brass casters and are also black vinyl with blue and white cotton striped tops.Pink bed spreads are not included. There were some shims under the legs of the corner piece to make it all flush with the wall and stable. It forms a smooth surface after you fine tune it to your walls/floor. It was discovered at an estate sale in storage with 3 others that i will be listing. All twin beds and all very unique. Beautiful vintage solid walnut 9 piece bedroom set. The mirror is not included in the description(it wouldn't fit) Rway was a premier furniture maker and this set is an example of the excellent quality that they produced. All of this furniture is solid and heavy. From the full size bed to the handy shelved nightstand. There are some signs of wear on the top of the vanity, and one dresser has heavily worn finish on the top. This furniture is quite old, but is in excellent condition for the age it is. This is the first of several sets of short bed rails that I will be listing. Of various ages, conditions. These rails are used for displaying beds, taking up much less room(real estate) in a shop or booth or antique mall, while still showing off the headboard and footboards. The rails don't show much when connecting the footboard and headboard, but they can be stained or painted if you don't like the natural wood or any writing on them from previous owners These rails are light wood with newer looking turnbuckles and hooks. A little different on each. The wood is light, maybe pine. There is the word"ETEX" on one side of each rail. Now for the lectures and other icky stuff: Some eBay abusers-hot heads.
