The furniture came from John Widdicombs granddaughter and was given to my customer.She has had it for a very long time. She said it is turn of the century and/or victorian. Made in the late 1800s or early 1900s. We are not sure what type of wood it is. Appears to be maple or ash. It has a veneer finish. The bed comes with a headboard.Footboard and side boards. Complete bed. The bed measures 54 1/2" w by 70 1/2"tall X 77" This is a long bed and is unusual because its a full or double. The dresser has four drawers and two smaller drawers on the top. The dresser also comes with a mirror. It is a very victorian looking mirror. Antique Maple full size Bed and Dresser. I bought this back in 99 or 2000. From an antique store in Jackson, Mississippi. The dresser has some nice patina on it, such as the cigarette marks. These were on it when I bought it. The bed was in a visitor bedroom so has seen almost no use. The bed is a really nice bookcase headboard with an electrical outlet. As pictured. There are no problems with either the bed or the dresser. Mattress and box spring included! Both were made by Duxbury. Which according to google, was sold by Ethan Allen.
