The sleek and great looking bed was made in Denmark and is designed for an Eastern King Mattress which rests directly on the slats(no box spring required) The bed is very sturdy when assembled and breaks down flat for safer shipping and transportation. Each side has a floating nightstand with a drawer and lower open cubby for magazines etc. Overall the bed shows very nicely with only ... moreminor wear(some dark marks on the left side rails. Minor veneer chips on the lower part near the footboard- see pictures 7 and 8) which are not very notable but should be mentioned. The nightstands show nicely, I believe the tops were refinished at some point. There is some minor wear on the left side of one nightstand at the edge which in not very notable but should be mentioned(see image 6) The headboard is 2 pieces that clip together to the center upright piece. When the previous owner took the bed apart they slightly damaged the inside wood of the headboard where the screws that clip the headboard together go in- This is only visible when the headboard is taken apart and is very sturdy when assembled. There is a slightly raised bump from this on the lower part of the headboard from this repair(see pictures 9 and 10) however it is below the slats so it is never visible, especially with the mattress is place. This repair does not compromise the structural integrity of the bed. When assembled the bed measures 28.75" tall by 121.25" wide.
