The hinges are intact and in fine working condition. The inside of the lid has a red velvet lining. Where the lid and box go together. It is lined with faux ivory. The caddy has two compartments with matching lids. The bottom of the box is covered with a dark covered floral embossed paper. The top. Back, front, and base of the box are sectioned off by silver flat wire. You can tell a lot of effort and highly skilled workmanship went into making this Tea Caddy of great quality for its time. This two compartment Tea Caddy sits on four round ball feet and measures a little over five inches high. About eight inches long, and about five inches wide. It weighs about 503 grams. Due to its great vintage age it does have condition issues. And could probably use a very good restoration from an expert. There are cracks on the top. Front, back, and sides. There are chips of material gone on the front. Base, sides, and back. Some of the flat silver sectioning wire looks bent and some looks to be missing. One of the hand engraved mother of pearl flower petals. Under the front lock plate, is missing. Both of the compartment lids have chips with material missing. And the compartment linings and lock mechanism are gone. The item might be used as your jewelry box if you did not want to restore it as a Tea Caddy. 11 Piece Vtg 1968 Wood Dining Room Kitchen Table 6 Chairs 3 Leafs& Table Pad Table measures four foot long without the leafs. Each leaf is about 11 1/2 inches wide so when all three leafs are put in the table it measures about 6 foot 10 inches long. The table is about 2' 6" tall and 4 foot wide. The table top is in very nice condition as I would think the table pad was always on it. The table legs show wear from time and use(see pictures) The three leafs are in very nice condition also but one of the leafs has a chip on the edge. The chip measures about 1 inch by 3/8 inch wide. Six chairs are in good used condition showing wear from years of use. The main wear is across the top of the chairs where the handle is. The seat and spindles also chow wear and very from chair to chair. It also comes with a table pad that fits the whole ... moretable. It shows wear from age and one spot looks like a hot penny got sat on it. Still in good usable condition but each section shows some variety of wear, It looks like it was built in 1968 due to the stamp print on bottom of the chair. Save $. Pay NO taxes with this auction! Up for auction is the bed, bureau and vanity. I’m dating these to the late 30s, early 40s based upon the original owner’s use of it. So it could be older… who knows. This set is from Ohio. All measurements are approximate. All handles appear to be original to the bureau and the vanity. The bed and bureau have wheels– the vanity does not. Full size bed with a shell design as the theme– side rails. Headboard, footboard, frame support slats, metal foundation rails. The only thing you have to supply is the mattress and the linens. There are some scratches and it will need cleaned. One leg(on the right side) has more wear than the other three. The bureau has a water mark and the usual wear and tear with a piece this old. The bureau measures 31.5” wide. 52” high including the decorative top. There are three ... morelarge drawers, two small drawers, one narrow drawer on the top. The vanity is in the need for a little TLC. Top has water marks. Candle wax, scratches, you name it. The veneer is chipped on one drawer. Vanity measures 42.5” wide, 26” high without the mirror. The mirror itself measures 43” The mirror attaches onto the back. All furniture is stable. The mirror has decorative etchings on it and some brown spots. I have no idea what the backs of the furniture look like… I really do not want to pull anything out unless I have to. BUREAU: VANITY: Please keep in mind that these are vintage pieces of furniture and have signs of wear. This is what gives them their character and confirms their age. There are some signs of wear on the top of the vanity, and one dresser has heavily worn finish on the top. This furniture is quite old, but is in excellent condition for the age it is. Up for auction is this vintage 3- piece Bassett Furniture Industries Colorama bedroom set. Consisting of a dresser with mirror, upright dresser and nightstand. The color is called Vista White. This set is called Colorama. It was ... moremade for a very short time. It was introduced in 1961 and discontinued in 1963. I have shown you a picture of the original ad. See 4th picture. The bed in the ad is not included. What's so interesting about these that set them apart from other furniture is you can change the color of all the top drawers across the front. The colors are red. Pink, turquoise and a light yellow. I have given you pictures of the red, pink and turquoise. I didn't show pictures of the light yellow because they didn't show up well in my pictures. I have given you pictures of all the panels, in the furniture and by themselves. I have also given you pictures of the three pieces of furniture with none of the panels inserted. Rway Beautiful vintage solid walnut 9 piece bedroom set. This set has been in my family for decades. And everything is original to the set, except chair upholstery and mattress of course. Set includes: + Bedframe. Mattress and head and footboards. + Long dresser with glass topper(slight breakage in corners) + Long mirror with the above dresser. + 6-Drawer highboy with glass topper and adjustable/removeable sections in top drawer. + Vanity with stand up mirror.
