Some tarnish on brass(all brass pieces are solid brass, NOT plated) Some chips and scratches in the white paint. One cast iron frame bracket has a couple pieces chipped off of it, but still works just fine(see pic) Overall in good condition. Very unique rare Victorian bed. A beautiful piece to add to your decor. Please check my ebay store often for more great deals on rare and unique items. More items added every few days. I'm guessing that shipping on this would probably run $300 to $400. So probably better to pick it up, but I will ship if you're prepared to pay the cost.

This is a very unique(and adjustable) lamp and has"Hubbell" on the switch(see ... morepicture) This item stands about 7" tall without the shade or bulb and around 10" with bulb and shade(came with a 25 watt bulb which is not included) and weighs a bit under two pounds. To my surprise this lamp is adjustable in heigh t. The metal base unscrews to make this lamp go from 7" up to about 9 1/2" 12 1/2" with shade and bulb) This piece shows great patina throughout and is being left to next buyer as to how much cleaning is to be done. The wiring on this lamp is definitely older and may need to be redone. As you can see from one of the pictures it does(or at least did) work when I carefully and cautiously tested it! I cannot guarantee that it will continue to work without rewiring. That being said I am including pictures to show the plug and socket wires. Some fraying of the cloth cover is evident at both ends. I would rather err on the side of being cautious but the rest of the cord seems to be in fairly good shape. No tape jobs or cuts. The"HUBBELL" switch seems to turn nicely and has great on/ off clicks. The shade(which is non metallic) sort of snaps around the bulb. Pictures will show this mechanism on the inside of the shade. I am not sure of the age of this lamp. But I knew it was something different and unique when I saw and obtained it. Hopefully you will too and give it a good home. A complete bedroom set. Done in dark stained pine from Vermont Furniture Company of Bennington, Vermont. Done with an eye for early American style. This dark stained pine bedroom set's matching end tables, bed, dresser, and chest of drawers will make a great addition to any household. This set was originally purchased in 1969 direct from Vermont, so we know the age of the pieces. Sorry, the comforter, bedsheets, and mattresses are for display only and not included for sale. The Vermont Furniture Company was founded in 1920. Started the Bennington line in the 1960s, and went out of business in the 1970s. While looking like antiques, these pieces of furniture do not really qualify for the status of antique pine furniture as they are less than 100 years old. Yet with their dark stains and good quality they are still a great buy. This line ... moreof the Vermont Furniture Company came about when they decided to add pine to their furniture line; before that point the company dealt exclusively with maple. Bennington Pine Furniture is quite solid and has good ratings for overall durability. This particular genre of furniture was created to fall into the early American line that was made popular at the time by Ethan Allen. The dark color of the pine and plywood backs are dead giveaways for the era. Being made in 1969. This furniture is of superior quality and construction to a lot of furniture made today. The bed is over 50 years old. This bed is in need of restoration. It has scratches and rub marks and then one post has a piece that broke off at the top and was glued back in. That is the picture you see that shows what looks to be a crack. I think that could easily be restored properly. This bed is solid and over all in very good shape. I have taken many pictures of each part of the bed after we took it down to give you a better idea of the condition. I have this priced to sell because of the condition.
