Which consists of a large dresser and a matching chest of drawers. The ... moreset is crafted from an unusual color of wood, which I think might be Pecan as it is lighter in color than most other woods and has a fine grain, somewhat similar to Walnut. The dresser has 8 full size drawers and three smaller drawers on the top. The middle drawer has only a key hole to open it while the others have matching drawer pulls. The drawers all feature dovetailed woodworking. The chest of drawers has 6 full size drawers with the top drawer featuring a lock(the key is included and taped inside of the top drawer and visible in one of the pictures) I'm uncertain if the one key works on both locks but I think they would as the key isn't a complicated design. Both pieces of furniture have glass tops that are in good shape. Both pieces feature designs created on the top by using different colored woods and grain patterns, giving a nice break from the solid color that the main furniture body has. The dresser's top left drawer features the Baker metal logo plaque on the inside. The furniture is in very nice shape but there are a few scratches and scuffs that need pointed out. There is a small square piece of veneer(about 1 inch square) that is missing along the bottom edge of the dresser, a little to the right of center. There are also a deeper scratch on the bottom right leg of the dresser and bottom left leg of the chest of drawers. These are shown in the photos. The furniture would benefit from a good cleaning and possible waxing.I'm not certain what type of cleaning or maintenance would be appropriate. Please look carefully at the photos to get a better idea of the true condition this nice old set is still in.I would guess this dates back to the 60s or early 70s. You are seeing tree shadow in the pictures. Mirrors have some spotting but not as bad as my pictures look-you are seeing dust on both the furniture and mirrors. I just brought it home from an estate and it is below freezing with the winds blowing 25 to 35 miles an hour-you see my son and wife's hands holding the mirrors in place. Stool has had an extra piece of cloth sewn to the top. The vanity has had the top curved shelf piece broken-the bottom one is still in place and you can remove it to get the pattern for the top shelf. A leaf blew into the corner for the pictures. ... moreThe bed measures 54" wide by 76 1/4" long inside the frame. Frame is about 79" long by 57 1/2" wide. The dresser is 42" wide by 20" deep by 33" tall-63 1/4" to the top of the mirror. It has a patent number and also a number that looks like 511 on the rear. The vanity is 48" wide by 18" deep by 24" tall-61 1/2" to the top of the mirror. Patent numbers and a number of 113 or 118 on the back. The 5 drawer chest of drawers is 42" wide by 20" deep by 46 1/2" tall-looks to be numbered 112. It has a slight opening to the wood joint on the one side bottom-nothing harmful. Also the bottom drawer wants to stick just as it is about to go fully closed-the plywood on the underside chest catches it a little there. You will need to have your own set of metal bolt on rails for your mattress and they are not included. The geometric style chest has 6 drawers on the top half all with dividers and 2 large deep drawers on the bottom. The dresser has 6 deep drawers and 4 smaller drawers(2 deep) in the center and a nice sized bevelled mirror. There is a tiny,very thin piece of veneer off on the very back right side edge of the dresser that is barely noticable(not pictured) This set has no junky metal slides. Only solid wood inside and underneath drawers. This set was purchased in the 1950's and was a one owner set kept in supurb condition. The 9 Drawer Dresser is 64" long, 31" high, 26" deep and comes with a 41 1/4" x 35" mirror. The Highboy Chest of Drawers is 45" tall, 42" wide, 21 3/4" deep and has 5 drawers. This set includes headboard, footboard, bed rails, nightstand, dresser with mirror, and chest of drawers. This is used furniture but still in very good shape! It's a great set that is still together! Triple dresser measures 72-1/2" long x 31" high x 18-1/4" deep. The mirror portion measures 30" high x 62" long x 1" deep. Attached to the dresser are three beveled mirrors that are rectangular in shape and curved in the middle to create a mod design. Interspersed are two large curved wood panels also with a mod design. Two doors on each side open to reveal three drawers. There are 3 long horizontal drawers with brass pulls. The night stands each measure 23-3/4" long x 24" high x 15-1/4" deep. Each have two drawers. Condition This will need some cleaning up. It appears that this was used in a child’s bedroom and there were crayons inside some drawers. This isn’t that big of a deal. A magic eraser could take care of that easily. There is wear here and there. But no large gouges or nicks that I can tell. If I were refinishing this for myself. I would honestly just use Howard’s Restore-A-Finish as there are no major issues. Dresser The dresser has substantial storage with 2 diamond inlaid doors opening to reveal eight drawers ... moreflanking six center drawers. The storage is truly amazing!
