Up for auction we have this unusual solid and what I believe is red brass. Wooden barrel spigot! The spigot measures 9 inches in length, the stand alone weight of the spigot is 2 lbs. 6 ozs. I cleaned this brass spigot with soap and water and that is it. The spigot has a wonderful green patina about it! Judging from the taper of the spigot, there was a hole in the wooden barrel and the spigot was driven into the wooden barrel until a leak proof seal was achieved. I am not sure in regards to what liquids this spigot was originally designed to dispense.God only knows! I ran water through the spigot and the valve does operate correctly in regards to on/off! There are no manufactures marks on this spigot, with that being said, without any manufacturers marks to go by in regards to researching for age, I would still hazard a guess to say this ... morespigot dates to the early 1900's if not earlier! Great vintage Water Spigot with ceramic Handle. Great look and early Spigot. Handle has a C marked on it. This is one solid piece and has a 3/4 inch Iron Pipe connection. Size is approximately 6.50" long x 4.25" tall. The handle turns nicely and seems to function properly but is untested with water. These old faucets are easy to fix with new packing material anyways. Unique Antique Brass Handled Spigot / Faucet / Spout Long Nozzle Leaf Design
VERY UNIQUE SPIGOT/ FAUCET/ SPOUT- I believe the faucet and handle are Brass. With copper tubing that is threaded. The threads are bent and crimped, but they could possible be cut off and re-threaded. The handle does turn, and the valve inside seems to work when I blew air through it. There is a beautiful design with a lovely green patina. I could not find much information on this piece or what it was attached to, or why the spout makes an abrupt turn to the left. I'm not sure if this was used inside or outside. I thought it might have been on a crock or barrel, but the copper threads seem more like plumbing. I really like this piece. if it doesn't sell I may try to incorporate it into something decorative that I can use!

The on/off handle works fine. I don't know the functional capability as it is pictured. It may need to be repacked, or it may be just fine? The hexagon shape drive where it would mount to the female pipe is chewed up from a pipe wrench as pictured. All the threads for to the wall and for hooking up the hose are just fine. About 4-1/2" x 4-1/2" x 1-1/2" thick. Please enlarge all pictures to see the condition and details the best. I will combine shipping on multiple items. When possible, to save on shipping costs.

Lot of 4 Antique Brass Valves Vintage Plumbing Spigot Water Steampunk Nathan
This is a nice mixed lot of four antique brass plumbing valves. The largest is a Sterling 3/4" straight stop valve with a bleeder drain. Next is a 1/2" quarter stop spigot valve(no name) Then a 1/2" screw stop hose bib(no name) Lastly a Nathan 3/8" x 1/4" 90 degree needle valve. All these valves have been cleaned(exterior) and turn easily. They have not been rebuilt with new seats or packing so I don't know if they would leak if put into service. This is a nice looking group that would be a fine addition to a collection or great for use in a artistic endeavor. Thanks for looking.
