Vintage 6 Foot Cast Iron Porcelain Double Drain Sink 25"x72" Pick Up Only
This is available for pick up here only as it is too heavy to ship and I am not dealing with the freight companies. Weight is probably 200 lbs or better. It was made by American Standard Radiator in Louisville on 10/6/1941 with a stamped size of 25" x 72" Bowl is in the center of it and is 20 1/2" wide by 18" deep at the top and then rounds out to the bottom to 18" deep by 15" wide. Depth from top to bottom is 7" Faucet holes are just under 1 1/2" diameter and 8" on center. Back splash is about 8 1/2" to 9" above the drain boards. Condition is excellent with some minor scratches and a few small pits to the porcelain on the left hand side edge. Included are the original drain basket/ strainer. Hanging brackets& screws and assorted drain pipe fittings. Also, a newer high-quality chrome over brass industrial faucet(barely used- I salvaged it from a renovation project) I do not know who manufactured this sink, Kohler or American Standard would be my guess. There is a photo of the markings on the underside. I purchased this sink from the original owners daughter, who still resides in the house where she was born and where the sink was installed in 1932. Condition: There is wear as would be expected from everyday use to the surfaces of the basin, drain boards and strainer basket. There is one small chip in the porcelain on the front lower edge of the apron and several other tiny flakes along the same edge. Otherwise, all shiny and bright. very good to excellent! Measurements: 61 inches length x 16 inches height. 22 inches depth from wall to front of unit. The apron is 8 inches depth. The legs are 2 parts each and are adjustable for height with an interior screw/ spiral mechanism. You are bidding on a very old Vintage sink with double basin bowl. I believe it is made out of concrete due to the appearance. However, it could be soapstone. I am not sure how to tell the difference. It is a very large sink and has deep basins. As you can see in the pictures there is a standard size washer in the background and it is quite a bit taller than that if you are trying to compare the size. Best guess of age on this is 65-70+ years. It currently sits in the basement and if you wish to purchase please keep in mind that you will need several people with you to help carry it up the stairs and out the front door. It sit on a pedestal that will come with it. As for condition. There are no cracks that I am aware of. This auction is for a used Vintage Farm House Style Double Basin white Porcelain over cast iron sink. The manufacturing date of 9-5-1939 is molded on the bottom of the larger sink along with the manufacturing company symbol of R within a circle and a C. It could stand for Richmond company but I am not sure. This is clearly visible in one of the pictures. This is a used sink but it appears to be in good condition; there are no cracks or dings but wear and tear. Some light staining, scratches, scrapes, etc. There is old paint on some of the bottom and on parts of the sides and edges which are clearly visible in the pictures. The sink is approx 42" wide. 23" front to back. The apron is 2" ... moreand the back splash is 9" The basins have a length of 17" by a width of 17" The left shallow basin is around 8" deep. Up for sale is this 1947 double drain board single basin farm sink. Unique with double soap dish and utility ledge! I have not seen another one quite like this on Ebay or anywhere! The sink is approx 60' wide by 24' front to back by 9' high(Bottom of drain hole to drain board outer edge) The back splash is 5 1/4' from drain board to top. The faucet holes are 6' on center. The old faucet fixtures seen in the pictures were already on this basin and will be included. I do not know if they are usable. The sink is 67+ years old with its original porcelain and has been used. It shows signs of normal wear and tear. Sm nicks, scratches scrapes, etc. There are also some fine age fractures in the porcelain only around the faucet mounting holes(close up shown) These are minor and would most likely be covered with the correct faucet ... morefixture. Original 1940's Youngstown Cabinet with farmhouse cast iron double drainboard sink. The sink and cabinet were once painted and someone has tried to remove some of the paint. Still needs some work but would be a real beauty when refinished! Some chips/wear in the enamel of the sink. The cabinet is straight with no dents or rust. Lots of paint to be removed. You are buying this vintage porcelain farm sink. This sink is in good condition for it's age. It does show some utensil marks in the bowl of the sink and has a couple of chips to the porcelain. This sink has no maker mark other than the#717-41A.Very nice barn fresh double sink. Double drain boards, I made pics without any type cleaning, then cleaned with windex, I did not clean further, it appears to need a lot of elbow grease to get back to nice condition.There are a few light chipped glaze spots, not down to the metal, but there, like scuffs, one hairline crack at spigot hole, some discoloration in sink bowls I think bleach will remove those, little paint on outer edges.the original drains are worn, probably need replacing.this sink weighs 200 plus pounds.buyer will need to set up shipping or pick up in person.please review pics ask question, I do not want a buyer misled in any way, this is a nice sink, just needs good cleaning, no problems that will require glazing unless you want it to look brand new.has right marks and patina ... morefor this age item.s:ize 61 inches long, 253/4 depth, sink bowls are 18x131/2.6 3/4 inches deep.back splash is 4 1/8 inches tall, edge rail 11/2 inches. 4 faucet holes are 12 inches to center outside 2, center ones set 4 inches apart.I have additional photos, Guys this is a super nice sink, no cracks or crazing.Figure if it does not sell at this price put it back in storage.

The faucet holes are 8" o/c and are standard size wall mount. The sink set is 70+ years old with its original porcelain and has been used. It shows signs wear and tear, sm nicks, scratches, scrapes, crazing etc etc. There has been chips repaired and or touched up, mostly around edges and one on the rim of the left deep basin. This Sink Has It ALL! Awesome 1926 Kohler Farmhouse sink with Double Drainboards High Back large Apron with Matching Legs. The sink is in very good condition except for some minor crazing in the upper corners looks to have been there since sink was manufactured and a little discoloration around the crazing(See Photos) Some untra fine ultra light staining on the drainboard and in the sink pan that should come out with some cleaning. Great example of a 1950's Double Drainboard sink with Steel Harrison Cabinet. This unit has been in storage for 40 years after removal from the original home. Overall good condition. 2 small chips in the porcelain. The steel cabinet has some minor rust at the bottom edges, but nothing structural. The cabinet is from Harrison Steel Cabinet Company out of Chicago(very similar to Geneva brand) I am not able to verify the maker of the sink. Last picture is the back side of the sink basin which looks to be a serial number. Local pickup only. I can answer questions and provide more photos.
