This was salvaged from an old building ... morehere in PA. It is in nice condition for its age. And is a heavy metal fixture with old porcelain handles. It measures 9 3/4" from the fitting to the top of the handle; about 8" deep from the end of the threaded pipe to the center of the drain hole; and it is 11 1/4" on center from the hot and cold supplies. The center hole for the drain pipe is 2" in diameter. A magnet does not stick to any of the metal, so I assume it is old nickel plated brass. A few old wrench marks on the nuts, but it just adds to the piece.The center plate is marked Viceroy, Top Bell. The faucet handles are marked H& R Mfg. Co. No. 1. The handles turn freely and appear to seal well. A must for any clawfoot tub restoration. Please email any questions before bidding. Buyer pays actual shipping costs. Here is an American Standard alcove tub from 1959. It is in'Regency Blue' with a left-hand drain. It is in good overall condition with minimal rust but almost every surface is lightly scuffed/scratched. The floor's enamel is worn with the remaining outlines of tread stick-on shells ... morefrom the previous owner. There are a few spots on the interior where the enamel is scratched, and there are a few small chips here and there throughout. Please check out the photos for condition. The drain hole has a little bit of rust showing but not much. A rust sealer should keep it from spreading prior to installation. The overflow hole shows a bit of cracking in the enamel, though that should be covered by the overflow assembly. There is a large chip on one of the edges. Though this should be covered by tile once installed(see pics) This isn't cosmetically perfect, but it's a well-used survivor. If you can live with some cosmetic imperfections and wear, then this is a great tub! I believe the feet are made of cast iron. They are certainly cast- either iron or a steel alloy. They are not aluminum. CONDITION- It looks like someone partially stripped two of these feet& got distracted. Two of them were a lovely shade of"I Can't Believe Someone Bought This Color Yellow" with white underneath& many peeled areas. Two are"Mostly Stripped White" The remaining paint. As seen in the photos, is not in great shape. You may want to re-paint, or leave them as-is, with all their vintage glory. This white vitreous china or ceramic hot water lavatory/ sink/ bathtub faucet handle set consists of the ceramic cross handle. The ceramic bell-shaped escutcheon, and the stem. Unfortunately. We only have the hot water faucet handle. It is marked“Republic” on the metal collar around the base of the cross handle and“Republic Cleveland O. M B C 1097” on the inside of the escutcheon. The cross handle measures about 3 ½” across. The escutcheon measures about 3 ¼” across at the base and about 1 ¾” high. It is in good vintage condition overall. The small metal ring just above the escutcheon has some tool marks and some hard water deposits. There’s a faint rust colored stain on the lower edge of the escutcheon and on the end of one of the cross handle extensions. These stains can be seen in the last two photos. I had salvaged a bunch of subway tiles and in doing so I got two soap dishes. This soap dish is for the bathtub and it has a handle for stability in getting in and out. It is not signed. It is off white and as a lot of crackling under the glaze. It measures 6" by 6" and has no chips or cracks in it. These subway tiles were salvaged from an from a 19th century house in the Northeast. Antique Zinc Child's Farm Bathtub This is an Interesting bathtub, I picked up at an estate auction at a over 160 year old farm in western Pennsylvania. It has all kinds of possibilities Planter. Dog or Cat Bed. Arms and edge for your legs rests are hollow. It is made of solid Zinc it stands 22 inches high at its tallest point. The width across the arm rests and front to back is 30 inches. The depth of the bowl is aprox. 11 inches. Weight is 12 pounds not packed for shipping The whole thing tilts to one side from age and usage and zinc being a soft metal Tub has some holes in the bottom and one small hole in the back where the armrest attaches. Antique Designer Claw Foot Bathtub Fixture Telephone Style Brass and Porcelain
Auction is for the old faucet set as pictured. I am just trying to recover from a huge mistake by buying this for a friend who needs fixtures for her claw foot bathtub. This will not fit her tub and I surely don't need it. My buy it now price is exactly what I paid for it at a flea market. Center to center spacing between the pipe connections is 6-3/4" With a ton of polishing this will make someone a beautiful addition to their bath room. Please note soldering on shower fixture. I'm not sure how this can be made to look right. The faucet assemblies screw off easily and the seats look good. Porcelain is excellent with no chips or cracks. I hope someone can use this. Antique nickel plate over brass claw foot tub faucet. No manufacturers' mark. Has bat style handles with the letters"H" C" There is a center holder for soap. Both handles have the mounting screws, but the right(C" side turns a both more loosely than the other. Measures approx: 5 5/8" H x 8 5/8" W x 4 5/8" D. Feed lines are 2 3/8" apart on center(see images with ruler) Condition: Nickel plate does have scratches. Wear, tool marks, and small amount of oxidization. Fixture is untested and may need new washers etc. All the pieces appear to be there and come apart(and back together) without trouble. Overall good condition. You are bidding on a white porcelain-handled bathtub faucet set that is approximately 5 1/2" long at the widest point on the faucets. And the threads are 1" The faucets themselves are probably nickel over brass and were made by the CENTRAL company(See Photo# 3. This set was acquired from a local New England antique home and is in good condition, with no splits or breaks to the faucets. There is one 1" hairline on the HOT handle toward the back, but neither handle is chipped at all. There is some pitting and finish wear, and they definitely would benefit from a good cleaning, but I'll leave that up to the new owner's discretion.
