Antique Vintage American Standard Tub Faucet with Spout 1920's
Here is a nice old'Standar d' tub valve and spout. This was removed from a 19 20's-era home. The handles appear to be replacements(probably 1940's or so) The ori ginals would have been porcelain cross-handle pieces. The spout has a porcelain escutcheon and a trim ring with set screw that keeps it tight to the wall. The finish on the spout. And original trim are more like a nickel color, while the finish on the handles is more like a bright chrome. All of the porcelain pieces are in excellent shape with no chips or cracks. There are a few small spots of discoloration but overall they are very nice. The handles have scratched/gouged caps. But they are fairly clean with good shine. They are cast zinc. Both stems open and close freely. The stems and escutcheon ferrules are slightly scuffed with spots of missing plating, see photos ... morefor condition. The spout has mis sing plating all over. As well as some gouges and scratches here and there. The brass nipple will remain in the spout. I' ll leave the choice of removing it up to yo u. All of the shiny bits on this faucet would benefit from a re-plate. But you could certainly use as is if you don't mind lots of patina! The original cast iron mou nting bracket i s included. The set will be broken down into components for shipment. I am not sure if it is nickel or chrome. But I think nickel. It is hard to measure but the widest points are approximately 20" x 17" It weighs about 7 pounds unpacked. The other piece may go to a kitchen or bathroom sink- again. I am not sure. Antique Vintage Clawfoot Tub Faucet 'Republic' 1920's w/Connections
This faucet set was removed from a 1920's clawfoot tub. The brand is'Republic' This comes complete with the water supply connections/elbows. The finish is worn and missing all over. If you need a perfect set this will need to be re-plated. However, the mounting nuts and adjustable escutcheons move freely as do the hot/cold stems. The'HOT' porcelain cap has a crack in it(see pics) and there is a wrench mark on the spout(see pics) There are also some mineral deposits here and there. Antique WOLVERINE Nickel Brass Side Lever Mixer Faucet for Clawfoot Tub or Sink
What we are offering here is an elegant Gothic Victorian mixer faucet for a clawfoot tub or sink. It has ornate side handle levers. A tapered straight-down spout, and a small circular soap dish on top. It measures about 8½" from side to side, and 6" from the top of the soap dish to the bottom of the spout. The supply pipes are about 3½" on center. It is made of nickel plated brass, but the nickel is pitted and worn, and the two main hex nuts are badly burred from careless wrench usage. The only manufacturer identity I see is the word"Wolverine" on the stoppers. It does not appear to be in working order. Antique Vintage American Standard Shower Tub Faucet Set & Diverter Spout 1950's
Here is an American Standard faucet set that was removed from a 1950's-era bathroom. This is for a tub& shower application. There is knob on the spout that acts as a diverter to turn on the shower. There is also a matching shower pipe escutcheon that's included. The chrome on the handles& caps is in nice shape with very minimal pitting. The stems also have minimal wear to their chrome. The escutcheons are lightly pitted and corroded with some scratches, but fortunately replacements can be found online. The spout has lightly worn plating along with some scuffs and scratches, but overall it's in very good shape. The shower pipe escutcheon is fairly pitted, and the set screw has been replaced with a new stainless steel set screw. Both valves open and close as they should. Antique Vintage Bath Tub Faucet Set 1940's Antique Plumbing
Here is a tub/shower faucet set that was removed from a 1940's-era bathroom. I'm not sure of the manufacturer. This is designed for directing the water down to a spout-only or up to a shower-only, there is no diverter. The upper outlet is plugged, since the shower control for this particular faucet was on the tub spout(not included) Of course, it could also be used in a walk-in shower. The spout that was installed with it was a Crane piece, though I'm pretty sure that this isn't a Crane faucet. The'HOT' cap is missing. And the'COLD' cap is a bit dull from wear(see pics) The handles are lightly pitted, and the escutcheons have just a few light scuffs here and there. I took these out of a Century home that I'm remodeling They was being used until I took them out about a year ago. shows normal wear and oxidation. Gnarls on nuts. Hot and cold cross handles. These are long stems. Which sometimes pass through rim of or are on the exterior of a tub. Handles turn freely, may need washers, etc. Measures: 22-1/2" from the bottom of the drain tee, to the top of drain knob, 10-3/4" center of handle to center of handle with 1-1/2" and 2" OD threads As you can see the theards on top of 2" have been broken off, but the cap does screw on tightly.There is one screw missing in the 1/2" escutcheon& the 2" escutcheon has a couple of dings. Offered are three old claw foot tub bathroom fixtures including white porcelain hot and cold fixtures and white porcelain drain fixture. All three are still attached to original piping and since I know nothing about plumbing. They will be shipped that with piping still attached. The hot and cold porcelain fixture knobs measure approximately 3 5/8" diameter. Porcelain thickness is approximately 11/2" Hot" and"Cold" are marked in black printing. The white porcelain drain pull has"no" printing. Porcelain on drain pull measures approximately 2" in height. Drain piping on drain pull measures approximately 20 1/2" Piping on hot and cold fixtures measures 17" to 17 1/2" This is the measurement of all metal that you see in pictures including the little caps that the porcelain fixtures are attached ... moreto. The porcelain on all three pieces is in nice vintage condition. All pieces do have glaze crazing which can be seen with magnifying glass. Antique J.L. Mott Iron Works NY Sink Tub Water Faucet With Attached Soap Dish
Here is a great old antique faucet made by J.L Mott Iron Works of NY. I am quite certain this is brass. That is chrome or nickel plated. It is very heavy and weighs nearly 7 lbs and measures about 9" wide. Distance between centers of hot and cold water pipes is about 6 1/8" It has the manufacturer name stamped in the faucet. Very unique in that it has the built in soap dish, still in great condition, permanently attached to the back of the faucet. Both of the faucet stems are bent as can be seen in the pictures. They both still turn, but are limited in movement. I don't know what impact these bent stems will have on the faucet, or the level of effort to fix them. Also, a couple of the round balls on the faucet handles are also bent. I believe the hot and cold plates are porcelain(although not positive) but they are both in nice ... moreshape with no cracks or chips out of them. The H in Hot is a bit worn. Antique Late 1800s Early 1900s Solid Copper Goose Neck Tub or Sink Faucet...RARE
Smardo Militaria and Collectibles Pictured is a late 1800s to early 1900s solid copper goose neck tub or sink faucet. I've never seen another faucet like this that was made from solid copper. Every one I've ever seen have been made from brass. Measures 15 1/2" overall, it would be 10 1/2 inches high from the base of the sink or tub. If I were going to use it, I would disassemble, clean. and polish it and install new seals. This will look fantastic when it is polished and will make a superb addition to your restoration or vintage house.
