Antique Vintage American Standard Blue Bathtub Alcove Bath Tub 1950's

My crating fee is $200(the freight charge is separate) or you can contact a freight company that will crate it for you; a reputable carrier that I prefer is'NAVIS Pack& Ship' This weighs approx. 400 lbs. Here is an American Standard alcove tub from 1959. It is in'Regency Blue' with a left-hand drain. It is in good overall condition with minimal rust but almost every surface is lightly scuffed/scratched. The floor's enamel is worn with the remaining outlines of tread stick-on shells ... morefrom the previous owner. There are a few spots on the interior where the enamel is scratched, and there are a few small chips here and there throughout. Please check out the photos for condition. The drain hole has a little bit of rust showing but not much. A rust sealer should keep it from spreading prior to installation. The overflow hole shows a bit of cracking in the enamel, though that should be covered by the overflow assembly. There is a large chip on one of the edges. Though this should be covered by tile once installed(see pics) This isn't cosmetically perfect, but it's a well-used survivor. If you can live with some cosmetic imperfections and wear, then this is a great tub! Antique Vintage American Standard Tub Faucet with Spout 1920's
Here is a nice old'Standar d' tub valve and spout. This was removed from a 19 20's-era home. The handles appear to be replacements(probably 1940's or so) The ori ginals would have been porcelain cross-handle pieces. The spout has a porcelain escutcheon and a trim ring with set screw that keeps it tight to the wall. The finish on the spout. And original trim are more like a nickel color, while the finish on the handles is more like a bright chrome. All of the porcelain pieces are in excellent shape with no chips or cracks. There are a few small spots of discoloration but overall they are very nice. The handles have scratched/gouged caps. But they are fairly clean with good shine. They are cast zinc. Both stems open and close freely. The stems and escutcheon ferrules are slightly scuffed with spots of missing plating, see photos ... morefor condition. The spout has mis sing plating all over. As well as some gouges and scratches here and there. The brass nipple will remain in the spout. I' ll leave the choice of removing it up to yo u. All of the shiny bits on this faucet would benefit from a re-plate. But you could certainly use as is if you don't mind lots of patina! The original cast iron mou nting bracket i s included. The set will be broken down into components for shipment. Hello. This is a beautiful bar faucet for your bar/sink. It is made by"standard" I think that means american standard. Everything you need to mount it is here except for some plumbers putty. Please take a good close look at the pictures. You will see only very minor pitting if any but you will see where a wrench has been used on it and scared it. It is in the condiction as I found it except I cleaned it and got the old plummers putty off. Please remember as you consider this that I am paying for shipping. Thanks, FLL PS. Antique Vintage American Standard Tub Controls With Spout 1960's
Here is a nice old tub control valve and spout. This was removed from a 1960's-era bathroom. This could be used as a shower control(without the spout) Or as a tub-only control. There is an adjustable sleeve that threads onto the valve body to adjust for wall thickness(see pics 6-7) This style of trim was found on American Standard fixtures in the 1960's. It appears that all trim pieces are chrome-plated zinc. All trim pieces are in very nice shape. With a few nicks and scratches here and there but nothing terrible. The worst is a scratch across the cold knob, but most of the other imperfections will be concealed when all of the pieces are installed. The spout has spots of worn/scuffed plating. And a few small dings on the front(see pics) Both of the valves/stems move freely. Though I would expect to rebuild/replace all of the washers ... moreand packing before use. The inlets are 1/2" copper sweat connections, and the spout nipples are still installed(see pics) The set will be broken down into components for shipment. Antique Vintage American Standard Bathroom Sink Shelfback Faucet Set 1950's
This faucet set was removed from a 1950's American Standard shelfback sink. The sink was beyond saving so this was removed. It includes the drain/pop-up assembly as well. All of the faucet trim pieces are in very good shape. With a few nicks/scratches/pitting here and there but nothing terrible(see pics) The spout is also in good shape with a few small nicks, and the pop-up lever moves freely and operates properly. The pop-up assembly's plating is also in very nice shape with great original shine. The most wear out of all of the components in on the stopper and drain trim(see final pic) The plating is almost completely gone from the drain trim. And some of it is starting to go from the stopper. This is the twist-and-lift stopper design that was used. Both of the valves/stems move freely. Though I would expect to rebuild/replace all ... moreof the washers and packing before use. The wahers on the drain assembly should be replaced as well, but will be included for reference and sizing. This must be shipped freight due to size and weight. Here is a nice old'Standard' pedestal sink. A large cast porcelain model dating from 1925. This model is known as the'Blackford' and this is the 22" X 27" size. It is in good shape, with some scuffs/scratches and a few tiny chips here and there. There is a very light stress crack that can be seen on the underside front portion of the bowl. Though it doesn't affect water-holding(see final picture) There are no cracks around the drain or drain opening. There are some chips and flea bites along the bottom edge of the base. As well as a pea-sized chip on the front(see ... morepics) The sink was set to the pedestal with plaster, so there is no hardware for that(though you could easily make your own if needed) There are no rear supports either, though they are available online. This spigot was removed from a home that was built in the 1920's and looks to be original. It's a'Standard' outdoor garden spigot that has a split in the body from a freeze(see pic#2) This is for parts or decoration only! The patina on it is great. Antique Vintage American Standard Bath Tub Drain Overflow Assembly 1950's
Here is an American Standard tub overflow/drain assembly that dates from the 1950's. This is the design where the stopper is a'pop-up' type that works more like a sink. All components are brass except for the overflow cover and control lever. Which are zinc/pot metal. It operates as it should. The plating on the stopper and drain flange are scuffed/nicked/dinged and worn from years of use. The overflow and lever are very corroded and pitted. As is common for these metals as they age. Here is an American Standard faucet set that was removed from a 1950's-era bathroom. This is for a tub& shower application. There is knob on the spout that acts as a diverter to turn on the shower. There is also a matching shower pipe escutcheon that's included. The chrome on the handles& caps is in nice shape with very minimal pitting. The stems also have minimal wear to their chrome. The escutcheons are lightly pitted and corroded with some scratches, but fortunately replacements can be found online. The spout has lightly worn plating along with some scuffs and scratches, but overall it's in very good shape. The shower pipe escutcheon is fairly pitted, and the set screw has been replaced with a new stainless steel set screw. Both valves open and close as they should. Antique Vintage American Standard Sink Faucets Hot & Cold Pair 1920's & Trim Pc.
Here is a pair of old'Standard' hot& cold faucets that were removed from a sink that dated from the early 1900's. The plating is worn on both of them. And there are some wrench jaw marks on them as well. Both valves open and close as they should, though I would recommend replacing the seats and packing prior to use. The mounting nuts and washers are included as well. There are some mineral deposits on them and areas of the plating(knobs especially) is pitted. A brass chain holder is also included. This 1928 American standard toilet with wall-hung tank is in very good condition. This model features the porcelain handle with the more stylized/detailed tank and tank-lid. It has been fitted with all new brass parts and is ready for installation. Here is an old'Standard' tub faucet valve body that was removed from a 1920's era bathroom. This is for tub controls only. With the drain control centered between the hot/cold valves. There are no trim pieces included, this is for the valve body and mounting bracket. There is no drain, trim or spout included. Antique Vintage American Standard Tub Drain Stopper Assembly Plumbing Part 1920s
Here is an old'Standard' tub drain assembly that was removed from a 1920's-era tub. Faucets that matched this type of drain have the drain control in between the hot/cold knobs(where a diverter control would usually be) This has an internal stopper that plugs the T-union. The clamp that attaches it to the valve body is also included. The plating on the drain flange and strainer is very worn. Basically back down to bare brass(see pics) The drain tube was shot so I replaced it with a new piece of 17 ga. brass and cut it to the same length as the original. Look what I found in the attic! Everyone should have a pink sink. Up for auction is a pink bathroom sink. Included in this auction are the hot and cold fixtures and the legs to the sink. I took as many photos as possible. It is in great condition. The only"dirt" I see is underneath the hot and cold knobs from the sealant wearing away. Vintage American Standard Cast Iron Sink w/wall mount, legs, handles faucet
I have here a beautiful. Original finish, 1957, American Standard wall mount sink. The original finish is still very good with only marginal fade and discoloring to the inside of the basin. Also included is the original factory fit wall mount piece and the original chromed legs that can be adjusted to level it out once mounted. The original knobs, drain, faucet are all also included and worked perfectly with no leaks when the sink was removed. Date of 2-20-57 is cast stamped on the bottom, as is"American Standard-American Radiator" and"Made in United States of America" They do not make them like this anymore. Sink Bracket 11" American Standard Cast Iron Wall Mount - Vintage, 15" long
Here for your consideration is a Vintage American Standard cast iron wall sink bracket that's 15" long and is for 11" on center hanging. The picture shows a 10 1/2 bracket. The 11"bracket is identical to that in every detail except the length marking and length. Here is an old'Standard' utility tub that was removed from a home that dated from the 1950's. This is the'Lakewood' model. According to the stamping on the underside of the tub, this was made in 1953. This was mounted in a cabinet, though these were intended to be mounted on a pedestal(the pedestal is not included) using the tabs on the bottom of the basin. There are also tabs that have been removed on the underside of the rim, they would have originally allowed tubs to be ganged up. The porcelain is in good condition. Vintage American Standard Cast Iron Porcelain Bathroom Sink with Faucets/Drain
This vintage corner sink comes out of a house built in 1914 so I am guessing that it was manufactured about the same year. I have a set of four matching sinks. This auction is for one. All four sinks are in exceptionally fine condition. The porcelain has even retained its original shine. There is a small amount of wear around the drain bezel, no dings. The sink includes two faucets and a drain assembly. Please note that this sink does not have the typical overflow holes cast into it that one usually sees but relies instead on an internal overflow hole that is contained within the drain. I have not tested the faucets and drain and make no guarantees as to their condition. Included as well are two cast iron mounting brackets. Here is an American-Standard tub drain/overflow assembly that was removed from a tub that dated from the 1940's. Though this trim style was used well into the 1950's. Please note: it is missing the stopper. The overflow plate is in decent shape and has the usual pitting in spots; the lever moves freely. Here is a'Standard' shower head. This would be found in bathrooms from the 1930's through the 1950's; chrome plated solid brass. Antique Vintage American Standard Re-Nu Sink Drain Assembly 1950's
Here is a complete drain assembly with stopper that was removed from a 1950's American-Standard bathroom sink. This compliments their'Re-Nu' lavatory faucet sets. The tailpiece is is short and only has about an inch or so for connection. The plating is in decent shape with a few jawmarks and mineral deposits. The drain flange shows the most wear, and the stopper shows normal wear. Plan on replacing any gaskets as any rubber parts are dry and brittle from age. Please check all photos for condition.
