ANOTHER GREAT NEW OLD STOCK ANTIQUE BRASS PLUMBING FIXTURE FOR YOUR BIDDING PLEASURE! Up for bid we have a new old stock hose bib from United Valve Corp. of Cleveland Ohio. This faucet sat in the original box from the manufacturer on the shelves of a local plumbing company which closed the doors over 75 years ago. The faucet is marked United with no other stamps or markings anywhere. It is 1/2 inch threaded and made entirely of brass. The box is not included in the sale and you are bidding on one faucet. As you can see it is in beautiful condition for it's age as it was protected in the box for all those years. The finish is bright and beautiful with only a few hazy spots on it which are hard to see in the pictures. Whether you are planning on installing it in a retro restoration or simply adding it to your collection on the shelves you ... morewill not be disappointed with this one. Remember though that if you are planning on using it you may need to check if new seals are needed since a faucet of this age may have dry rotted seals inside if there are any. There is a blob of excess brass see on both front and back from original casting, and is permanent, not just a chip of junk. I have other old hardware listed, check them out.
