The apron is 6" and the backsplash is 8" The basins are approx 21" wide by 19" There is a super deep basin on the left at approx 12" deep and the right is 6" deep. The sink has its original porcelain which is 80+ years old and has been used. It shows signs of wear and tear. Sm chips, nicks, scratches, dull spots, light staining, thinner areas, etc etc due to use over the years. That being said, the sink is still much nicer than normally found. These earlier sinks are almost all completely worn though and very rough. The sink includes its cast iron legs that are adjustable for height and a set of wall hangers. The underside of the sink and the legs could use a fresh coat of paint which I would gladly do if prefered. The faucet required is a wall mount with 8" centers. Pictures show actual legs and condition. These are getting extremely hard to find. Especially in this shape. Antique cast iron kitchen farm sink- light green porcelain in excellent condition. Double drain board surfaces flanking a large single basin with the original pair of adjustable legs. Included are the original drain basket/ strainer. Hanging brackets& screws and assorted drain pipe fittings. Also, a newer high-quality chrome over brass industrial faucet(barely used- I salvaged it from a renovation project) I do not know who manufactured this sink, Kohler or American Standard would be my guess. There is a photo of the markings on the underside. I purchased this sink from the original owners daughter, who still resides in the house where she was born and where the sink was installed in 1932. It was removed and stored in the cellar when the kitchen was"modernized" in the late 1940's/ early 1950's. That said, this sink is ... morein fantastic condition. RARE Vintage Jadeite GREEN Cast Iron Kohler Farm Bib Drainboard Kitchen Sink
ITEM DESCRIPTION: Rare original antique/vintage porcelain over cast iron jadeite or mint GREEN Kohler Farmhouse bib-style kitchen sink with drainboard. Also back-mount faucet. And two Standard mounting brackets are included in the purchase price. CONDITION: Sink: Good vintage condition. No major chips or cracks in the porcelain. Minor chips due appear at various areas at the bottom of the sink. But are very small and only add to the authenticity of this great sink. Some light rust stains DO APPEAR on the drainboard. and the buyer may want to add an additional clear coat to the sink to increase the gloss of the sink. From years of use. The luster of the sink has dulled slightly and an added clear coat wold further help protect the sink from additional dulling and chipping. Faucet: The back-mount faucet is in good vintage/working condition ... moreand fits the sink fine. However the round flange plate pieces which cover the extra space between the faucet and the sink holes have been lost and ARE NOT included with the sink, but can be purchased at any hardware store. Some scratches in the top chrome coating are present. Also the internal pieces of the aerator ARE ABSENT. But are also available for purchase at your local hardware store as is standard procedure when buying a used sink. Mounting Brackets: The Standard mounting brackets are the same size and both manufactured by Standard Plumbing. But DO NOT match. Although they function almost exactly the same, each bracket if from a different era. When they are placed one on top of the other, the mounting hole do match up, however one bracket has more mounting holes than the other. This however doesn't affect the functionality of the brackets. Also some very minor surface rust do appear on the brackets, but is easily cleaned and has not affected the strength of the cast iron. Additional Parts. Pieces, Hardware: Besides the brackets. This auction is for a used Vintage Farm House Style Double Basin white Porcelain over cast iron sink. The manufacturing date of 9-5-1939 is molded on the bottom of the larger sink along with the manufacturing company symbol of R within a circle and a C. It could stand for Richmond company but I am not sure. This is clearly visible in one of the pictures. This is a used sink but it appears to be in good condition; there are no cracks or dings but wear and tear. Some light staining, scratches, scrapes, etc. There is old paint on some of the bottom and on parts of the sides and edges which are clearly visible in the pictures. The sink is approx 42" wide. 23" front to back. The apron is 2" ... moreand the back splash is 9" The basins have a length of 17" by a width of 17" The left shallow basin is around 8" deep. It has legs that are adjustable and the back supports that go on the wall. The legs do need some TLC to bring them into the beautiful condition that the sink is in. Vintage White Antique Cast Iron Farm House Sink No 2 Standard
This was pulled during a renovation on an old farmhouse located in New England. I do not have details on this sink as I do not know much about it. It is extremely heavy so is a pick up only item. It is obvious that the previous owners used this to clean paint brushes or as a second sink. The sink has a washboard/drain on the left side and some rust spots and scratches on a couple corners. I would say it would need to be refinished. I am able to get a lot of the staining off by scrubbing but it would take a boat load of elbow grease to get it clean. Hello. I have had this sink in storage for a very long time. I had no idea of the nearly new condiction, I was amazed. Take a close look at the pics. and you will see what I mean. Notice the high gloss of the enamel. There is one tiny spot on the front left corner that is not a chip but it looks like the enamel may be thin. It may even come off. The area is smooth though. The faucet in the pics. is not the one that came with it. I will give it to you for free. It has had a lot of use and looks as if it may have been take apart with vise grips. It shows signs wear and tear, sm nicks, scratches, scrapes, staining, etc etc. There has been a couple areas repaired with epoxy. The area around the drain holes had some deterioration from a leaky faucet and the top left corner of the back splash. They do not stick out but there. There are stains as well from a drain board had sat for a while. See pictures ... moreof close up areas. That being said the sink is still better than most and looks good. The cast iron legs are adjustable and bolt on in front of the drains. The legs and underside of sink will need to be scraped and repainted depending on preference. Vintage 1947 Double drain board Cast Iron Farm Farmhouse Kitchen Sink
Sink was made in 1947. It does have some wear on it but is in pretty good shape for being 67 years old. Some small nicks and scratches but nothing that is through to the iron. It is 24" deep x 60" long. The basin is 20" x 16" x 8" deep. The cold and hot water holes are 6" apart.

Up for sale is this cast iron double basin farm sink& legs in very good condition. The sink is approx. 51" wide at widest by 24 1/2" front to back by 16" high. The front apron and the back splash are each 8" The basins are 21" wide x 19"There is a super deep basin on the right at approx 12" deep and the left is 6" deep. The faucet holes are 8" o/c and are standard size wall mount. The sink is 75+ years old with its original porcelain and has been used. It shows signs of minor wear, sm nicks, scratches, staining,etc etc. but overall is in very good condition. The adjustable legs are original to sink and are adjustable for desired height. Antique Cast Iron Farm Kitchen Sink With Apron Great Splash Back Porcelain
A Beauty. This came out of a very old huge mansion like estate in Southampton. NY. It was in the Service Kitchen. It has a great apron and the perfect size splash back. The porcelain is in incredible shape given it's age. I tried to capture how good it is in the pics. I do not believe it needs to be redone. I prefer local pick up but will sell to buyer if they do all the contact with a shipper of their choice and pay my guys to prepare on a pallet for shippers that want it on a pallet. It measures 73 inches long. Bottom apron is 8 inches. Top Back Splash is 10 inches and the faucet openings are 8 inches on center; perfect for new or old faucets. It had a garbage disposal drain attached at one time so the drain catch is nice and big to go along with the size of the sink. Some of the pics are before I just cleaned it.
