Here is a neat old spout that was removed from an old tub that dated from the 1920's. Though this could be used as a spout for almost anything. The nipple threads into the end of the spout and can be easily removed, please note that there are gouges in the nipple(see pics) This also comes with a matching escutcheon, as shown installed in the second photo. The plating is worn and lightly scuffed in spots from years of cleanings. The escutcheon also has a spot where the plating is missing from a long-term leak. All components are brass. The inlet looks to be beveled on the inside. And the thread on the outside is an unusual size so you may need to be creative to connect this to your plumbing. The fact that it's solid brass makes soldering a possibility in case the threads don't match anything else. Antique Vintage American Standard Tub Drain Stopper Assembly Plumbing Part 1920s
Here is an old'Standard' tub drain assembly that was removed from a 1920's-era tub. Faucets that matched this type of drain have the drain control in between the hot/cold knobs(where a diverter control would usually be) This has an internal stopper that plugs the T-union. The clamp that attaches it to the valve body is also included. The plating on the drain flange and strainer is very worn. Basically back down to bare brass(see pics) The drain tube was shot so I replaced it with a new piece of 17 ga. brass and cut it to the same length as the original. I'd recommend replacing all of the packing prior to installation, as it's pretty deteriorated(see pics) Check out my other items for more'Standard' faucet parts! Antique Vintage Bath Tub Faucet Set 1940's Antique Plumbing
Here is a tub/shower faucet set that was removed from a 1940's-era bathroom. I'm not sure of the manufacturer. This is designed for directing the water down to a spout-only or up to a shower-only, there is no diverter. The upper outlet is plugged, since the shower control for this particular faucet was on the tub spout(not included) Of course, it could also be used in a walk-in shower. The spout that was installed with it was a Crane piece, though I'm pretty sure that this isn't a Crane faucet. The'HOT' cap is missing. And the'COLD' cap is a bit dull from wear(see pics) The handles are lightly pitted, and the escutcheons have just a few light scuffs here and there. There are some dings and scuffs consistent with its age. Great utility faucet that will bring a lot of character to your home with your watering needs. Looks like a standard 1/2 inch pipe thread. Upon inspection the packing and seats were in poor condition and will need replacing. I left some of the fragments for you to see what will be needed. The valve stem screws in smoothly. Upon inspection valve seat and packing look OK but might need to be replaced since I did not check it. Being sold low start as is for this reason. I think it looks good for reuse though. Some wrench marks, dings and scuffs consistent with its age. There is quite a bit of wear, of the silver chrome finish, all about this hardware. Antique ClawFoot Tub Faucet Spout Brass Old Vintage Plumbing 3133-14
Antique bathtub faucet spout. Was nickel plated at one time. Only traces of nickel is remaining. Spout has heavy mineral build up. Brass body has wear, scratches, tool marks, and some oxidization. There is a short piece of cut off cast iron pipe left on the end. Overall it is in fair salvaged condition. Measures approx: 5 3/8"long.
