Up for sale is a set of Antique Porcelain Faucet Cross Handles Hot/ Cold/ Waste. They are in great condition. The porcelian is in great condition. Only a few small hairline cracks on the back next to the nickel plated brass mount, the nickel plating is in great condition also. The Lettering on the handles is excellant. The handles are 3 1/4" across and stand 2" tall. The inside of the mounts are 3/8" square with a tapered hole for a set screw in the shaft. I also have another set of Hot/cold only matching knobs in another auction. Vintage Clawfoot Faucet: GOPHER-porcelain hot & cold valves
Thank you for looking. This is a vintage faucet made of nickel plated brass. The handles are intact. Nothing is cracked or broken. The same goes for the porcelain hot& cold inlays. Engraved on the stem of each hand valve is the name GOPHER. It is estimated to be assembled in the 1940's. There is a 3/4" NPT connection on both hot& cold sides. I have not dismantled the assembly in any way therefore I do not know if the seals work or not. Up for bid is an Lot of Antique White Porcelain Sink and Tub Pieces. There are Faucet Handles that read Hot and Cold. I believe one set is for a tub and the other for a sink. There is also two donut shaped pieces that I think are for the back of the handles but I am not sure(one has a tiny chip along edge that you would not see when assembled. See pictures) There are two metal pieces that I think goes to a pair of handles. There is a soap dish complete with the piece that slide on it back to hang on wall. The soap dish has crazing. VINTAGE FAUCETS Acquired at an estate sale is this antique plumbing fixture. I am not a plumber so I will do my best to describe the items offered in this auction. I believe the base metal is brass or bronze with a chrome finish. Across the top of the faucet nozzle is"STERLING" Sterling is the manufacturer. Not the material. There appears to be some dirt and plumbers putty on each piece so a good cleaning will be needed. I did a basic wipe down with a damp cloth to get the dust off and show the potential of these great pieces. The base measures 4 1/2 inches tall from the bottom of the threaded pipe to the top of the handle; 5 1/2 inches long; threaded pipe is 1 inch; space between threaded pipes is 2 1/4 inches; threaded pipe is about 1 1/2 inches tall; faucet is 3 1/2 inches from the tip of the faucet to the back of the base; opening ... morefor faucet is 1/2 inch across and the handles are 3 1/2 inches long. This is an interesting collection of porcelain parts for a bathroom restoration. The original pull handle measures about 3 inches long. The"X" valve measures about 3.25 inches across. There is also a piece to cover a bolt and a hot and cold faucet insert set also made of porcelain. The inserts are 7/8" I have the inserts in other sizes if you are interested in them. The pieces are in great shape and I do not believe they were ever used. The ones that are stamped are from Czechoslovakia. This is a nice lot of stuff for someone restoring an old bathroom and seeking that vintage look with genuine original parts.
