Up for bid is an Lot of Antique White Porcelain Sink and Tub Pieces. There are Faucet Handles that read Hot and Cold. I believe one set is for a tub and the other for a sink. There is also two donut shaped pieces that I think are for the back of the handles but I am not sure(one has a tiny chip along edge that you would not see when assembled. See pictures) There are two metal pieces that I think goes to a pair of handles. There is a soap dish complete with the piece that slide on it back to hang on wall. The soap dish has crazing. The biggest iron one has a 3/8 inch center hole. Its 3-1/2 inches across and a perfect circle. Its in good vintage condition. The other iron one has a 1/4 inch center hole. VINTAGE FAUCETS Acquired at an estate sale is this antique plumbing fixture. I am not a plumber so I will do my best to describe the items offered in this auction. I believe the base metal is brass or bronze with a chrome finish. Across the top of the faucet nozzle is"STERLING" Sterling is the manufacturer. Not the material. There appears to be some dirt and plumbers putty on each piece so a good cleaning will be needed. I did a basic wipe down with a damp cloth to get the dust off and show the potential of these great pieces. The base measures 4 1/2 inches tall from the bottom of the threaded pipe to the top of the handle; 5 1/2 inches long; threaded pipe is 1 inch; space between threaded pipes is 2 1/4 inches; threaded pipe is about 1 1/2 inches tall; faucet is 3 1/2 inches from the tip of the faucet to the back of the base; opening ... morefor faucet is 1/2 inch across and the handles are 3 1/2 inches long. And old fashioned white glass/porcelain hot and cold lever knobs(note the"hot" one has cracks, including an internal crack area on the bottom side, and the cold has small hairlines(see photos of both) but still looks like they could be used. It measures approx. 7 inches from inside rim of each incoming water hole. This old fixture has not been tested in any way/ sold as it stands. The spout and handles do seem to move as they should. For its age, the chrome finish is pretty nice on the spout and main body, but does have some wear spots/ some pitting on the body, a small spot of missing finish on the bottom, areas around handles as shown, etc. See photos for details/ illustrative ... moreexamples. Many of the funny spots in the photos are just reflections, so be sure to compare from photo to photo. The one knob is missing the center cap. The bases are marked M.B. Co inside and one has a tight hair line crack and the other has some chips around the very base edge. Here's a great nickel plated antique tub filler(faucet) for a claw foot tub. It is a wall mounted style filler. includes only the parts shown in pictures. Rough dimension are 7" wide x 6" tall(photo#1) x 5" deep(including threaded parts) extends 4" from the wall. It was purchased in anticipation of using it with an antique tub, but we decided on another style& finish. If the buyer prefers, I will clean the minor corrosion with a mild metal cleaner& add epoxy to the tight hairlines in both porcelain handles. However, the handles should serve the new owner well even'as is' The finish can be replated in nickel another finish to compliment plumbing fixtures.
