After purchasing the filler for a restoration project, we realized our antique tub will require a deck-mounted faucet. This filler would be very period-appropriate for a Nicole Curtis/Rehab Addict type project. Because it would pair perfectly with a vintage tub. Anyone who appreciates authentic architectural salvage is aware that a new faucet would be very obvious-too brand-spanking new-when installed with a genuine antique tub! Although there are no deep pits or dents in the metal. The original nickel plating has worn in areas. The faucet could be professionally replated in nickel or another finish to compliment your plumbing fixtures. Antique Vintage Clawfoot Tub Faucet 'Republic' 1920's w/Connections
This faucet set was removed from a 1920's clawfoot tub. The brand is'Republic' This comes complete with the water supply connections/elbows. The finish is worn and missing all over. If you need a perfect set this will need to be re-plated. However, the mounting nuts and adjustable escutcheons move freely as do the hot/cold stems. The'HOT' porcelain cap has a crack in it(see pics) and there is a wrench mark on the spout(see pics) There are also some mineral deposits here and there. What we are offering here is an elegant Gothic Victorian mixer faucet for a clawfoot tub or sink. It has ornate side handle levers. A tapered straight-down spout, and a small circular soap dish on top. It measures about 8½" from side to side, and 6" from the top of the soap dish to the bottom of the spout. The supply pipes are about 3½" on center. It is made of nickel plated brass, but the nickel is pitted and worn, and the two main hex nuts are badly burred from careless wrench usage. The only manufacturer identity I see is the word"Wolverine" on the stoppers. It does not appear to be in working order. This"tower" drain was bought in the 1990s for a remodel and never used. The unit is solid brass(upper is 2" brass with chrome plating) The unit is a"lift and twist" to open/close drain. Overall the unit is 17-1/2" tall. Chrome stand-pipe is 14-1/2" tall. This unit is n.o.s. new old stock) with some slight marring to the chrome due to storage. No dents or real damage.

The overflow cover is in good condition and still has its original ring for a drain plug on a chain. The mounting bolt for the overflow cover is slightly bent but it dose not impede its function. Wonderful chromed victorian shower from around 1905. Has original Shower head. Curtain ring, and all nozzles. It is missing the spray unit, but everything else is original and present. There is some light pitting to the chrome, and the brass seems to be coming through a little. There is some paint on the rear side from years of being painted around while installed. Original Primitive Antique Brass Shower For Clawfoot Tub Round Shape RARE! We went down South to central Illinois for a large antique flea market recently– it’s always packed with primitive antiques. Farm finds and unique items– I think you are going to like what you see! I often say that I have themes come find me in my treasure hunts- well. I guess this week it's bathrooms- because you have to check out the old wood toilet tank that I just listed too! This wonderful old brass shower did not come out of the same estate- but I tell you, the two would make for a wonderful period bathroom! I have never, EVER seen a genuine old one of these- lots of repros, but not an antique- I knew I had to have it from first sight. It's a brass shower- a very simple piece by design, it was made to hang over a claw foot tub- the round frame at the ... moretop would have held the shower curtain, and the shower head is on an L shaped arm that adjusts for the height that you want. All in all, it's 3 brass pieces- the round frame, the L shaped arm and then the shower head which will screw off for you- I did it, but I didn't do it for my photos. I have left the height of the head as I purchased it for my photos- you can raise it up higher above the circle frame, or lower. There's two grey metal hardware pieces- both that mount on the wall- one for the round circle frame and one for the L shaped bracket, once you have set the height. It's that simple- I have had my husband take it apart for shipping, so you will need to assemble it to use it, but it's easy- if I can do it, it's REALLY easy! I want you to know that I first thought it was copper- just because of the color of the patina. But when we disassembled it, it clearly shows brass in color under the hardware- that's just the darkdark patina- it's almost black it's so dark in some lights, and I have not cleaned or messed with the as found patina in any way- it needs a good cleaning. The hot. Cold handles turn with ease, and are porcelain. A hairline crack is in the cold handle. The mounting surface is adjustable, and turns with ease. Mounting holes are 3 1/2 inch on center.
