This is an original hot/cold faucet for a claw foot tub. I'm not sure of the composition as it's not an area of expertise. But I do know that the hot and cold buttons are porcelain. They have no cracks or chips and just a bit of wear of the lettering. The handles move freely. And aside form cleaning up, this appears ready to go. But does show a bit of age wear– there are a few brownish spots in the interior of the soap dish– I think these might be able to be removed with a product like Barmen’s friend– I only lightly cleaned it with a liquid dish soap– There is also a slight line crack along the bottom of the dish– not a true crack, superficial– the antique piece is still strong and useful– a great true antique porcelain soap ... moredish Well packaged will weigh a bit over 1 pound. Offered are three old claw foot tub bathroom fixtures including white porcelain hot and cold fixtures and white porcelain drain fixture. All three are still attached to original piping and since I know nothing about plumbing. They will be shipped that with piping still attached. The hot and cold porcelain fixture knobs measure approximately 3 5/8" diameter. Porcelain thickness is approximately 11/2" Hot" and"Cold" are marked in black printing. The white porcelain drain pull has"no" printing. Porcelain on drain pull measures approximately 2" in height. Drain piping on drain pull measures approximately 20 1/2" Piping on hot and cold fixtures measures 17" to 17 1/2" This is the measurement of all metal that you see in pictures including the little caps that the porcelain fixtures are attached ... moreto. The porcelain on all three pieces is in nice vintage condition. All pieces do have glaze crazing which can be seen with magnifying glass. I believe this model is designed to be mounted inside the tub(where holes would already be cut) But it may work as a wall-mounted filler in some installations. Only the parts shown in pictures are included. Rough dimension are: 7" wide x 6" tall(photo#1) x 5" deep(including threaded parts) it extends 4" from the surface it is mounted on. After purchasing the filler for a restoration project, we realized our antique tub will require a deck-mounted faucet. This filler would be very period-appropriate for a Nicole Curtis/Rehab Addict type project. Because it would pair perfectly with a vintage tub. Anyone who appreciates authentic architectural salvage is aware that a new faucet would be very obvious-too brand-spanking new-when installed with ... morea genuine antique tub! Although there are no deep pits or dents in the metal. The original nickel plating has worn in areas. The faucet could be professionally replated in nickel or another finish to compliment your plumbing fixtures. For sale is this antique 4 shower head. The tag on the pipe reads"Kenney Needle Shower- Patented March 4. 1913. The head is in good condition and measures 41" tall. Each shower head measures 2 1/2" in diameter. Not sure what the finish is but it appears to be a brushed nickel finish. Antique nickel plate over brass claw foot tub faucet. No manufacturers' mark. Has bat style handles with the letters"H" C" There is a center holder for soap. Both handles have the mounting screws, but the right(C" side turns a both more loosely than the other. Measures approx: 5 5/8" H x 8 5/8" W x 4 5/8" D. Feed lines are 2 3/8" apart on center(see images with ruler) Condition: Nickel plate does have scratches. Wear, tool marks, and small amount of oxidization. Fixture is untested and may need new washers etc. All the pieces appear to be there and come apart(and back together) without trouble. Overall good condition. This is a very nice antique chrome plated heavy brass claw foot tub faucet.with cross style handles that have white porcelain buttons on the top that are marked'C' and'F' this is in French for Hot and Cold. The faucet in marked'Crane' and measures approx: 6" tall by 5 1/2" wide by 4" deep. In very good condition.both handle turn freely. The faucet is untested and may need new washers. Check the photos.a great old brass faucet!
